Remorse After Breaking Up

Chapter 454

Chapter 454

"We're talking about Seamus here. Why did you bring Clara into this?" Cleef asked, feeling a bit perplexed.

Yasmin tapped his head lightly with her finger. "You really are simple-minded. I've made it so clear already. How can you still not understand?"

Cleef suddenly realized something and asked, "Do you want to marry Clara to Seamus?"

"Exactly," Yasmin said. "Seamus is already a divine grandmaster in his 20s. He will undoubtedly become an extraordinary powerhouse in the future. If he becomes our son-in-law, the Strauss family could surpass the other two major families and possibly become a top-tier family. What glory that would be!"

"But Clara hates Seamus. Frankly, she even despises him. She won't agree to it," Cleef said, frowning.

Yasmin smiled gently. "I know her well. She only sees Seamus as a useless housekeeper. Once she understands he's a super genius, she will agree."

"You have a point. It's settled then," Cleef nodded in agreement, thinking this idea was excellent. After all, a son- in-law was much better than a disciple.

Meanwhile, Sebastian was unaware that he was being considered for such a role.

He went to work in the alchemy room. When he saw the alchemy pot, many fragmented memories resurfaced. Seeing the medicinal herbs, their names immediately came to mind. This convinced him even more that he had previously worked in this field, and working here would surely help restore his memory.

Soon after, Cleef and Yasmin went looking for their daughter, Clara.Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

"Dad, Mom, do you need something?" Clara asked curiously.

Yasmin smiled warmly. She took her hand, and said, "Clara, your father and I have found a potential match for you and wanted to hear your thoughts."

"Is it Hugo Lorence or Theo Claude?" Clara asked.

Hugo was the eldest son of the Lorence family, and Theo was the eldest son of the Claude family.

She assumed it had to be one of them since matches were usually arranged between the three major families.

"Neither," Yasmin replied, shaking her head with a smile.

"If it's neither, then who?" Clara asked urgently.

In her mind, only these two young men on Phoenix Island were worthy of her. The rest were beneath her. "What do you think of Seamus?" Yasmin asked.

"What! You want me to marry that lackey? Are you joking?" Clara burst out in rage.

To her, Sebastian was the lowest of the low. He sure as hell wasn't fit to be her husband.

Cleef hurried to calm her down. "Don't get upset. Let me explain. Seamus is not as simple as he seems. He's a hidden expert."

"An expert? How strong can he be? He's just a bit better than an ordinary housekeeper. If you hadn't stopped me, I would've killed him already," Clara said disdainfully.

Cleef smiled and shook his head. "Your strength among the younger generation is quite good, but you are far from being able to kill him."
