Chapter 111
ELAINA'S POV
I had mixed feelings coming back to the Alpha's mansion. This place felt like home to me, because I stayed here throughout my stay in this pack and most of the memories I had were formed in this pack. Immediately I walked through the gate, I had flashes of memories of my younger self and I found it weird. There was no chance that I had grown up here when I was much younger, so I brushed those memories off. Another part of me felt a little dissatisfaction. Dissatisfied at the fact that I had not kept my promise. I had promised myself never to step into this mansion ever again, but here I was.
Emma was jumping around immediately we walked into the building. As usual, she was excited to be here. "Mom, you promised to show me around a while ago. You will keep to your promise this time around, right?" "Stop jumping around. I have warned you severally You'll disturb those who work here," I cautioned and she calmed down.
"Sorry," She said in a small voice and I gave her a small voice. I threw her closer to myself and patted her head.
"I'll give you a tour of the palace if you want," Alpha Atlas said.
Emma's eyes lit up. "You will?"
"Yes, I will," Alpha Atlas replied.
"You don't have to. I-"
"Do you want to see the waterfall?" He asked Emma, ignoring and interrupting me and I frowned.
"Yes," Emma answered excitedly and before I knew what was happening, she ran over to Alpha Atlas.
He turned to me and flashed me a charming smile. I got lost. Before I could get myself, he waved me goodbye and took Emma along with him.Exclusive © material by Nô(/v)elDrama.Org.

I frowned at how they both left me here and at how I got carried away by a mere smile.
"Imagine if he kidnaps her," I mumbled to myself. "How will you explain to people that your ward got kidnapped because you got lost in a smile?" "Is that Elaina?"
I frowned. I could recognize that annoying voice anyway, anytime.
I looked in the direction of the voice and feigned a smile. "Hi Hattie. Hi Celina."
Hattie was the one who had spoken and they were both my roommates.
"Hello, long time no see," Celina said.
"Well, it was not that long."
"I know, right? Seeing your irritating face again is really pissing me off," Hattie snorted. "You should have stayed away a little bit longer."
"Well, I feel the same way," I answered, still keeping my fake smile. These she-wolves were a nightmare. Unfortunately for them, I was a terror.
The last thing I would ever do is to let anybody bring me down. My mind flickered to the memories I have been having recently.
I heaved a deep breath. The memories or the flashes I thought were my memories I was having from my childhood were filled with me getting bullied. I was not ready to pass through the same thing again. This time around, I will be standing up for myself. "Well, we were asked to clean the toilets. Since you're here, you should join us," Celina said.
"Yes," Hattie agreed. "Infact, since you decided to take a long break, you should clean the toilets alone."
I smirked. "I thought you said I should have stayed away longer
Hattie glared at me and I glared back at her. "Well, I am not cleaning any toilets today or ever again, because I did not come back here as a maid, but as the guest of the Alpha."
Celina and Hattie exchanged glances and they began to laugh. "What did you eat when you were away from the palace?" Celina asked.
"Oh my goodness. Can you imagine the audacity?" Hattie scoffed. "Guest of the Alpha my foot. Who do you think you are?" She turned to look at Celina. "Are you sure she has not gone mad? Because, this level of delusion is way too high."
"Elaina," Celina began. "You're probably doing this to avoid washing the toilet, but you should know that we're not stupid. You're a nobody and people like you can't be a guest in this mansion. Your place here is that of a maid's. It can never be more than that." "If you're a guest here, then we are both mad she-wolves."
"Agreed," Celina said and they both laughed.
"Madam Elaina, greetings," a warrior walked up to us and greeted, throwing Celina and Hattie into confusion.
"Who are you calling madam?" Hattie asked.
The warrior smiled and pointed at me. "Madam Elaina here. The Alpha sent me to get her." Then, he turned to me. "Your room i
is ready and the Alpha asked me to take you to your room. He also wants to know what you want to eat. That is what we will all have for dinner."
"You must be mistaken," Celina said. "This she-wolf here is nobody but a maid." She grabbed my hand. "She is in fact washing all the toilets in this mansion now."
I slapped her hands away from mine and glared at me. "Don't you dare try to touch me," I said.
"I don't know what you knew her as before now. But now, she is a highly favored guest of the Alpha and if you don't want problems, I will suggest you move away," The warrior said to them and I watched in satisfaction as they turned pale.
"I think it is now confirmed that you both are mad she-wolves," I said mockingly and they could say nothing in reply.
With my head held up high, I followed the warrior to my room.
Rooms meant for maids were already big and luxuries. I had no words to use to describe the room I had just walked into. It was more than big. The room was gigantic. It was as big as a house meant for a huge family. It was as beautiful as it was big. It had a bay window, a walk-in closet, beauty station, an en-suite bathroom and the beddings were lavish.
This was too much even for a princess. It was hard to believe that this was my room now.
"Are you sure this is my room?" I asked again to be sure.
"Yes, it is," the warrior replied with a smile on his face.
