Chapter 211: Future Mates
Giselle's POV
My arms around Killian tightened as worry gripped my heart. All I could think of was how I could pull him out of there without making me look disrespectful and weird.
What is Damien thinking of?! Is he going to expose me? If he does, then Vanessa will find out that he had a child with me and that he lied to her about it.
I don't care if they divorce because of this, but I can't afford to lose the Luna title if my secrets were exposed.
"Killian, I-" my words were cut short when Damien glanced at me.
He pinned me down with his gaze, silently questioning what I was so scared of. I didn't say anything more when Damien did not add anything else to his words.
What are Killian and I even doing here with them? Why is Killian so interested in their child, and why did he even call me here?
Is it because he knows something?
My eyes snapped to him in fear as soon as I had this thought. I looked into his face, trying to read his thoughts.
"I have an only son named Ryker and he will be the future Alpha of our Pack," Killian replied. "Well, isn't this great? I have a son and you have a daughter and both of them are the same age."
My eyes widened when I realized what Killian had actually been thinking the whole time.
I thought he was suspecting something. I'm so relieved that wasn't the case. It turns out that the reason why Killian is so interested in Damien's child is because he takes Hazel as a potential mate and Luna as his son.
I froze as I thought of that possible. What if Hazel is Ryker's mate? Wouldn't that mean I could still be a mother to Hazel and I could still have the chance to be close to her?
Damien instantly shook his head as soon as he figured out where Killian was going. "As for that, it's not for us parents to decide," Damien answered in a clipped voice.
I knew Damien wouldn't want this. He would never want his daughter to be anywhere near me. I've done so many bad things, making me undeserving of being anywhere near my child.
"Of course, of course. It's not for us to decide, nor the children's. It's up to the moon goddess herself," Killian agreed.
Damien fell silent, unable to think of a counter-argument.
"For sure, the moon goddess already had someone planned for them," Killian added after a pause.
"And what makes you sure that it would be your son?" Vanessa, who had been welcoming towards Killian, suddenly turned hostile towards us, sharing the same sentiments as Damien. Vanessa hates me, and I'm sure she would rather die than have me as a part of her family. She would never agree to let her daughter marry a person that carries my blood.
She has no idea that the child she's taking care of and calling her own daughter is actually my own flesh and blood.
Killian was taken aback by Vanessa's reaction. He was surprised that they wouldn't like this idea. After all, Killian thought that we lived a good life when I was still living at the Crimsonbane Pack. He thought all of us were close to each other. He has no idea of what really happened there.
"Our Pack owes you a lot for taking care of Giselle She once lived in the Crimsonbane Pack and you saved her life. Our families are more than just friends and our children were also born in the same year, so thought the moon goddess the same thoughts as I and think that it would be great if our Packs

unite together through marriage," Killian explained with pure
intentions.
A laugh escaped Vanessa's lips after hearing Killian's words. Killian's eyes shot towards her, wondering why she was laughing.
"Killian, it's too early to talk about these things," I spoke up and pulled his arm to distract him, successfully grabbing his attention. "Who knows what the moon goddess is thinking?" Killian glanced at Vanessa, who was trying to fix herself.
"That's right. You sounded so confident that the moon goddess would chose our children together," Damien chuckled harmlessly.
I let out a small laugh. "As a father, he values his son so much."
"I've heard something, but I didn't paid much any attention to it. Is it true that Ryker has autism?" Damien asked.Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.
Vanessa's mouth formed the letter "o" when she heard her husband's words.
Killian stilled. "It's true, but he's undergoing therapies and getting all the necessary treatments. He is getting better everyday. Although he has autism, he's very smart. I'm sure he would be the most brilliant Alpha someday."
"Autism? I've heard humans having that, but for a werewolf... I didn't know that could also be possible for us," Vanessa spoke in concern.
Killian sighed. "Well, so far Ryker's autism is not that deep in the spectrum. However, we cannot tell if this would have an effect on his wolf because he still haven't met his wolf yet."
I placed a hand on Killian's chest to ease his worries. "Don't worry, Ryker is getting all the treatment. The Doctor had said that Ryker's autism is different from the others, his might be cured."
"I hope you are right. I really feel bad
for the innocent child who had to face the wrath of the moon goddess because of the sins of his parents," Vanessa spoke with genuine
concern while shooting off H
at us.
