Reborn Before The Divorce

Chapter 17

Nydia was initially taken aback, but then she felt that Tavish had a very commanding presence. No wonder he was Jesse’s son.

She followed Tavish to his room. Tavish looked at her with a serious expression.

“Leader, what can I do for you?” Nydia said.

The sentence almost made Tavish amused, and he bit his lip to keep himself from laughing.

It was a while before he spoke again. “Be serious!”

“Yes, Leader!” Nydia replied.

“… ” Tavish struggled to get to the point. He clenched his fists and coughed twice before placing his hands behind his back.

“Do you still want to divorce Dad?” Tavish asked.

Nydia bent down slightly, with her hands resting on her knees, looking at Tavish with a soft smile on her lips.

“Do you want me to divorce your dad?” she asked.

Tavish’s face immediately became stern. “I’m the one asking the questions now!”

Nydia almost couldn’t hold back her laughter. She thought Tavish, with his mannerisms, was adorable. If he had a beard, he would be a cute little old man.

“You said last time that you would help me divorce your dad. Is that still true?” Nydia asked.

Tavish’s face stiffened for a moment, and his shoulders moved slightly, suggesting that he had clenched his hands behind his back.

He lifted his chin slightly. “Of course, it’s true!” There was a hint of stubbornness in his voice.

“But I don’t want to divorce your dad anymore. What should I do?” Nydia asked.

Tavish was stunned, but he retorted, “Didn’t you want to divorce my dad before? Why don’t you want to anymore? Are you thinking of something bad again? Did Willette teach you something when you met her today?”

He bombarded Nydia with a series of questions.

Nydia was at a loss for words. She thought to herself, “Tavish is amazing! He’s only four years old, but he speaks so clearly, and his logic is so clear.”

“I met Willette today. Are you angry?” Nydia asked.

“No! I’m not angry. I don’t care who you meet!” Tavish said, still being bit of a spoiled child.

Nydia squatted down and looked Tavish in the eye.

“Mommy admits that I did not do well before. I involved you in adult conflicts. I apologize to you. It’s not that you are not good, it’s that mommy is not good. You have always been great.”

“But Mommy still has to say that I didn’t throw you into the lake. I will find evidence to prove my innocence!”

“Did the teacher ever say in class that a good child is one who can correct their mistakes? Would you like to give mommy a chance to correct hers?”

Tavish suddenly became nervous, his little hands fidgeting behind his back. His face showed a mixture of surprise and joy, but he tried to hide it.

“Tavish, would you like to?”

Nydia looked directly at Tavish, although she was gentle, there was a hint of urgency in her voice.

However…

“I don’t know, I don’t know!” Tavish said and ran out the door, surprising Nydia.

She seemed anxious, maybe she should have taken it slower.

If Tavish hadn’t come to find her today, she wouldn’t have been so anxious.

As she was thinking about this, Tavish came back.

“Mommy, this is my room, you should leave.” He looked embarrassed but also seemed confident.

“Okay, mommy will leave. Good night, my little baby.”

Tavish was dumbfounded once again.

Little baby?

He had never been called that.

He stood there with his eyes wide open, like a wooden puppet, until Molly came in and poked him, “Brother, brother, are you practicing martial arts?”

Tavish came back to his senses and pulled Molly onto the sofa, asking her, “Molly, have you noticed that mommy seems to have changed?”

“Yes! Mommy has changed… she’s even more beautiful and capable, and her cooking is so delicious. I miss mommy’s cooking.”

“I’m disgusted by your drool.” Tavish said, but still took a tissue to wipe Molly’s mouth.

Molly smiled sheepishly, “Anyway, mommy is really good now. I like mommy!”

“But mommy went to see Willette again today, and every time she sees Willette, she…” he didn’t finish because they were all bad memories.

Molly frowned and after thinking for a moment, she said, “Let’s see if mommy will turn bad this time. If mommy turns bad this time, we’ll never talk to her again, okay?”Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.

Tavish nodded in agreement, but still worriedly told Molly, “Be careful, don’t go out alone with her, okay?”

“I know, I’m very clever. Nothing will happen. Wherever I go, I will bring you with me because you will protect Molly, right?” Tavish hugged the cute and lovely girl in front of him and said, “Yes, I will always protect Molly and won’t let anything happen to you.”

“But Molly is stronger than you,” she said, waving her little fist.

“When I can’t protect Molly, Molly will punch the bad guys away,” he replied.

“Yay! Pinky promise~”

“Pinky promise~”

They linked their pinky fingers together and made a promise.

The next morning, Nydia got up early to prepare breakfast for the family, with two chefs helping her.

“Madame, why do you like cooking so much lately?”

“After cooking for the children last time, they liked it and it made me feel accomplished. Besides, I have some free time, so I cook a few times. But don’t worry, I won’t make you guys jobless.”

“Ma’am, you’re joking. Look at your cooking skills and knife work. Did you study professionally?”

“I had the privilege of learning from a chef before.”

“No wonder, your cooking looks more professional than ours.”

The two chefs’ skills were well-known, or they wouldn’t have been hired to cook at the Pascall Villa. They were curious about which chef taught Nydia how to cook. If the apprentice’s skills were so good, then the teacher must be even more impressive.

Nydia’s cooking speed was not slow, and she seemed to have made a lot of things, but she allocated her time very well. In less than an hour, with the help of the two chefs, she prepared sandwiches, spaghetti, milk, cornmeal pancakes, four poached eggs, and cut fruits.

Two kids came to the dinning room after waking up and saw Nydia carrying things out in an apron.

“Good morning, my babies, come and have breakfast. Let’s see if today’s breakfast suits your taste buds.”

“I’m going to call Daddy!” Molly held back the urge to eat breakfast immediately and ran to call Jesse.

When she went over, Jesse had just gotten up.

“Daddy, Daddy, hurry up, or all the delicious food will be eaten by brother.”

“Then you go ahead and eat.”

“No, I want to wait for Daddy. If Daddy doesn’t eat, Molly won’t eat either!”

Watching Molly, who looked righteous but kept moving her little mouth, Jesse dared not dawdle and finished getting ready and followed Molly out.

Looking at the table full of breakfast, Jesse was stunned again and looked at Nydia in surprise.

“Molly, do you want a sandwich or noodles? Mommy will get it for you.”

“I want both sandwich and noodles, and I want to eat that muffin, it’s such a big portion.”

“Molly, your drool is going to drip on the table,” Tavish said helplessly.

Molly immediately covered her mouth with her hand and directed Nydia with her chin and eyes.

“Eat up, little foodie, be careful, it’s hot.”

“Did mommy make all these today?”

“Yes.”

“Wow, it’s great!”

Jesse and the two kids were very pleased, and the breakfast was cleared out.

This made Nydia feel an unprecedented sense of satisfaction.

While she was cleaning up, Molly tugged at her clothes.

“Mommy, we’re going to Grandma’s house tomorrow, are you coming with us?”
