Rebirth 57
Yoselin exclaimed, "Ms. Grant, you really should be more careful. Why didn't you move out of the way? Everyone might think I did this on purpose." "It's okay, Yoselin. It was my fault for not moving," Yvette said, her face tinged with c**nt.
People around them began to stare just like how they stared at Yoselin when her dress had been splashed with a drink.
Feigning understanding, Yoselin said, "It looks like we're both unlucky today, Ms. Grant. My dress just got stained with some wine too. Luckily, I brought a few extra outfits here. How about I take you to change into one of them?" Before Yvette could respond, Helen stood up to answer for her, "Sure. Yvette, go change clothes with Yoselin." If she could get close to the Russell family, it would mean stepping closer to Yonas. Naturally, Yvette had no clue about Helen's ulterior motives. The liquid on her dress had indeed left a stain, making it unwearable. She nodded slightly to Yoselin, saying, "Thank you so much, Yoselin." With that, Yvette followed Yoselin upstairs.
As soon as they entered the room, Yoselin spread out all her dresses on the bed. "Pick any dress you like."
Yvette looked at the array of designer dresses, a tinge of jealousy bubbling inside her. She knew these high-end custom pieces weren't just available for anyone to buy, even if they had the money. Some brands only sold their exclusive designs to select clients, not wanting to dilute their brand image. There were several dresses she had longed for, but sadly, she hadn't earned the right to wear them yet.
She randomly picked a dress and stepped into the fitting room. As soon as she did, Yoselin quickly made her way downstairs.
Helen, feeling bored watching them go upstairs, sought out Selena, who was
complaining to other socialites. "She's so shameless! How could she even dare to show up at the Russell family's banquet? Doesn't she realize we might be here?"

The other Indies asked, "But Yasmine seems pretty well-mannered. She's not at all like what you described
Selena immediately reacted. "That's just an act. It's all fake."
She turned and saw Helen standing behind her. "Where's Yvette?"
"She went to the restroom. Helen replied softly.
With so many important people around, she couldn't say that Yoselin had soaked Yvette's dress, so she had to cover for them.
Just as Helen contemplated how to smear Yasmine's reputation, Yoselin returned.
Helen glanced over her shoulder at Yoselin and asked curiously, "Where's Yvette?"
With annoyance, Yoselin replied, "She's still changing. I'm here to let you know that Yonas wants to see you, in the room at the far left of the second floor. Hurry up and go."
"Mr. Russell wants to see me?" Helen's face lit up with excitement. She suddenly remembered what had happened with Yasmine earlier and suspiciously looked at Yoselin. "What does Mr. Russell want with me?"
Yoselin replied, "How would I know? All I saw was him holding a necklace. It's the same. one he bought for several billion last time! I've been begging him for it, but he never gives it to me. He said not to tell anyone. Do you really think I'd work so hard to distract Yvette for no reason?" Yoselin shot her an angry glare. "If you don't go, fine. The necklace will be mine."
Helen was instantly excited and blocked her. "Yoselin, since it's Mr. Russell who asked you to call me, of course I have to go." Motivated, she raced toward the staircase, her mind buzzing with thoughts of the necklace Yoselin mentioned. 'Could it be that Mr. Russell wants to give me that necklace?' she thought. Hearing about its billions in value made her head spin. It had to be because Yonas saw her as better than Yasmine. Her heart raced as she thought about Yonas wanting to meet her alone. Overwhelmed with excitement, she walked to the leftmost room. When she knocked, her face flushed bright red. To her surprise, the door swung open without her needing to push. She stepped inside and was immediately enveloped in darkness, as the lights were not on. Dramed
"Mr. Russell?" she called tentatively a couple of times.
There was no response, and the darkness began to fill her with fear.
Suddenly, the door slammed shut with a loud bang, plunging her into deeper darkness.
"Mr. Russell! Are you there?" Her voice trembled as she nervously fumbled against the wall, trying to find the light switch, but all she felt was the cold, hard surface of the wall.
Just then, the lights flicked on.
She then realized that there was another man in the room besides herself-one she recognized. Helen's face paled, and she spun around to dash for the door. "Helen, stop
t there!" The man's voice was filled with rage as he blocked her path. "You think you can run away? You deceived me! You said that woman was easy to manipulate and urged me to take her under my wing. Because of your lies, I lost the collaboration with the Russell family and have been completely kicked out. It's all your fault.
"I didn't say anything wrong!" Helen shot back, her face pale, raising her voice defiantly. "She is a divorced woman. Who knows why Mr. Russell protects her? Besides, you had your own ulterior motives. What does that have to do with me?"
The man yelled frantically," *If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have even noticed her. If you hadn't claimed it would help the collaboration between your family and mine, would I have bothered looking for her? This is all your scheme!"
"Don't talk nonsense! I have no idea what you're going on about!" Helen's face turned miserable as she tried to push past him, but he grabbed her again.
Fear flooded her as she looked at the man, who appeared to have lost his mind. "Let go of me! I'm with the Flynn family! This is a Russell family event; don't you dare make a scene! I warn you!"
"It's your fault for getting me into this mess! If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have lost everything!" The man's eyes were bloodshot, fiery with fury.
Helen trembled all over, desperately swinging her bag at him. "Go away! So what if I made you harass her? You've already offended the Russell family; do you want to go against the Flynn family too?"
She threw her bag at him, which caught him off guard, providing a brief moment of

"Where do you think you're going?" Chuck's sharp voice rang out beside her, blocking her escape.
Helen shook uncontrollably, her hand glued to the door, quivering. "Who are you?"
Two figures emerged from the far side of the room, and the man was led away.
In an instant, Helen's pupils constricted as Yasmine and Yonas approached her.
"Yasmine! Mr. Russell!" she exclaimed, panic in her voice. "Mr. Russell, it's not what it seems! I can explain.'
Seeing the cold indifference on Yo**'s face, the realization hit her. She pointed at Yasmine and screamed, "It's all your fault! You scheming witch! You set me up!" Yasmine's icy gaze locked onto Helen, her voice dripping with frost.
