Yasmine slid over to sit further inside the car secretly. Yonas noticed her slight movement, and his eyes narrowed for a moment but then softened-he knew she always acted this way around strangers. "Mr. Russell, are we heading to the Paragon Hotel?" the driver asked respectfully. He glanced at the rearview mirror, noticing how Yasmine intentionally kept her distance from Yonas.
The Paragon was Yon**s's favorite place to host guests, with private rooms that he often. reserved. After a moment of thought, he turned to Yasmine and asked, "Do you have any recommendations, Ms. Sanchez?" Yasmine paused to think before saying, "If you usually go to the Paragon, let's stick with it. You've helped me several times, and today Yoselin also came through for me. This dinner is my way of thanking both of you." She acknowledged that she owed Yonas a favor. While he had mainly helped her for Yoselin's sake, she was ready to repay him now, especially since she planned to take care of Yoselin's treatment herself. Yonas didn't push back. "Okay," he said simply, then told the driver, "Let's go."
The Paragon Hotel was Soucrity's top luxury venue, known for attracting the elite. It wasn't uncommon for dinner bills to soar past 30 thousand dollars.
The sleek black Cayenne slowed to a stop right outside the Paragon Hotel. Despite Yonas noble status in Soucrity, his vehicle was somewhat understated for such an upscale place. But the attendant recognized him by the special license plate and rushed. over to open the door for Yonas with the utmost respect.
The lobby manager approached them quickly, feigning a smile. "Mr. Russell, I apologize for not welcoming you properly. Your private room is ready, and is it you and Ms. Russell this time?"
Yonas glanced at Yasmine as she opened the door herself and stepped out of the car. A flicker of displeasure crossed his face for a moment.
Only then did the manager notice that the clusive Yonas, known for keeping a low profile with women, was accompanied by an unfamiliar lady in the backseat.
In situations like these, people usually knew how to read the room. With just a glance at Yasmine, the manager took in the full view of her dress.

Sure, her outfit might have been from a budget brand, and her bag didn't look like it cost more than a thousand dollars, yet her beauty and grace shone through. Toge r with Yonas, they certainly presented as a stunning couple. Anyway, Yasmine was with Yonas, so the manager didn't dare to underestimate her. Staying respectful, he apologized. "I'm sorry, Miss. Mr. Russell never brings anyone with him besides Ms. Yoselin. That was our mistake." Yasmine smiled gently and replied. "Never mind."
The trio attracted the attention of several onlookers. Yonas was always a standout in Soucrity, making it hard for him to go unnoticed.
Meanwhile, Xavier and Yvette had just arrived at the hotel parking lot when Yvette gasped softly. "Xavier, is that Yasmine?"
Xavier slammed on the brakes and looked up to see Yasmine standing next to a charming man. Passersby were glancing at them, enviously.
It's Yonas! Xavier was shocked. He had never heard of Yonas inviting a
woman to dinner before, and during the three years with the Flynn family, Yasmine had always focused on home life, never going out with men or having male friends. Xavier's expression darkened as he watched Yasmine from a distance, an inexplicable irritation surging within him. When did she start getting close to Yonas?"
If anyone knew the truth and could read Xavier's thoughts, they'd probably roll their eyes at him and sneer, "Wake up! You're divorced now."
