My Toyboy 316
Chapter 316
Naomi was nonchalant, even flashing a mischievous grin. She took a slim cigarette from her blazer pocket and twirled a lighter between her fingers. She exuded a combination of boldness and style.
The girls at the nearby table couldn’t take their eyes off Naomi. Some even let out a little shriek. Naomi winked at the table. of girls and teased them a bit, causing them to instantly become shy and lower their heads.
Naomi turned her head with a mischievous smile and lit a cigarette. Cynthia, however, snatched the thin cigarette from her hand. “You should cut back on smoking; it’s not good for you.”
Naomi, craving a smoke, clung to Cynthia’s arm. “Just one, okay? Just one?”
Cynthia ignored her, adding a piece of vegetable to Naomi’s plate. “Eat more veggies; it’ll keep you healthy.”
Naomi scratched her head in frustration. Cynthia calmly said, “Quit smoking, and I’ll get you a Lamborghini Veneno.”
The Sullivan family was deeply engaged in car manufacturing. As a result, Naomi had a fervent passion for collecting luxury vehicles. She spent every cent she earned on cars.
However, she couldn’t purchase a Lamborghini Veneno despite having the financial means. It was a limited–edition model. Naomi adored it immensely, but it was sold out to the world’s billionaires long ago.
Naomi asked excitedly, “You have this car?”
“don’t, but I can get one.”

Three years ago, for Cynthia’s birthday, Simon got her a Lamborghini Veneno as a gift. However, Cynthia didn’t accept it at that time. The car had been parked in Simon’s garage ever since Last time, he asked her to take it because he didn’t have extra space for it.
Cynthia agreed, thinking she could give it to Naomi. She wasn’t into those flashy sports cars.
Naomi was thrilled and gave Cynthia a quick peck on the cheek. I quit. I quit! Just get that car for me. I love you, babe!”
Jonathan and Hector frowned. Jonathan finally couldn’t hold back and said, “Naomi, I know you two grew up together, but could you please be more mindful of the boundaries? There are limits to how close one can be without causing misunderstandings.”
Jonathan knew about the relationship between Cynthia and Naomi. Even though Cynthia had said Naomi was straight and liked tough guys, she looked very masculine, with a cool and handsome style. People were starting to talk, and many assumed that Cynthia was Naomi’s girlfriend.
Jonathan felt somewhat uneasy, especially after what happened with Lilian. Who says women can’t be interested in other
women?
Naomi leaned back in her chair, casually crossing her legs with one arm resting on Cynthia’s seat. She appeared completely unconcerned about Jonathan’s words.
“Boundaries? When Cyn and I were practically infants in diapers we were together. Where were you then, Jonathan? If it weren’t for Cyn having a thing for you, she’d be by my side forever.
“You took my person away, and now you bring up boundaries? If you dare to mistreat Cyn, I’ll make sure you pay.”
Jonathan chuckled lightly, accepting the situation. “Alright, alright, you two are best sisters. It is my fault, okay?”
Jonathan, of course, wasn’t seriously bothered with Naomi. He completely trusted her character. Although she seemed a bit rough around the edges, it was clear she genuinely cared about Cynthia.

Moreover, he could tell that the relationship between Cynthia and Naomi was purely sisterly, unlike the connection between Lilian and Cynthia. He had only been joking earlier.
Hector frowned upon hearing that, especially since he heard the word “sisters.” Naomi, being short and frail, was often teased outside for presenting a somewhat womanish appearance
Therefore, he thought Jonathan seemed to be insulting Naomi, implying he was a girl.
Hector spoke up, “Mr. Bennett, I respect you as a gentleman, but such insinuations are unfair. Naomi and Cynthia have a decades–long friendship, so his actions may seem excessive but are understandable. We shouldn’t comment on it, and you shouldn’t question his integrity.” This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.
Jonathan was taken aback by the accusation, for once wearing a completely speechless expression. He turned to look at Hector as if he was looking at a fool.
He thought, ‘It’s been a long time. Does this clueless guy still not know that Naomi is a girl? He is an expert psychologist known for reading people’s minds and expressions. How could he not realize it? Absurd!‘
Cynthia was equally shocked. She thought the same as Jonathan What’s wrong with these two? I thought they were a couple when they came in. So Hector still doesn’t know Naomi is a girl?
Naomi felt guilt. She kept her head down and ate her fish quietly. She hadn’t told Hector she was a girl. There was never a chance or reason. Hector just assumed she was a guy. Telling him now might make him think she was strange.
Besides, she still acted like the leader in front of him, like in the past. She assumed if he found out she’d been pretending all these years, she would lose all her credibility. He might even break off their friendship.
But Naomi didn’t intentionally want to deceive him. It was just that Hector thought she was a guy, and there was nothing she could do about it.
Once at the mall, Naomi came out of the women’s restroom. Hector, however, didn’t suspect anything, only scolded her for being careless.
No matter how careless and easygoing she was, could she accidentally walk into the wrong restroom? Naomi rolled her eyes, not even bothering to explain.
Cynthia just realized what was going on and was about to speak, but Hector was already standing, taking Naomi by the arm “Stop eating. Let’s go.”
Hector really seemed upset. Naomi was pulled along, but not before grabbing Cynthia’s orange juice on the way out.
Seeing this, Hector became angrier. He thought, ‘Humph! He likes Cynthia very much. Normally, if someone talks about him that way, he would fight back directly. But now, after Jonathan called him Cynthia’s sister, he didn’t dare get mad. To maintain his relationship with Cynthia, he would put up with anything.
After Naomi and Hector left, Cynthia and Jonathan looked at each other. After a moment, they suddenly burst into laughter, which got louder and louder until Cynthia’s stomach hurt and she had tears in her
eyes.
“How can someone as skilled as Dr. Xenos not realize that Naomi is a girl? And he’s a graduate of the Ivy League?
“It’s ridiculous. He thought you were mocking Naomi with that earlier comment.
“But he’s strange. Naomi didn’t even get angry, yet he was the one who got upset first. It is truly strange.”
Jonathan, however, had a slight smile on his lips, eyes glinting with rare interest. “Not strange at all. I guess he is confused about liking men. His anger’s not directed at others but at himself.”
