Oh, My Dear Mr. Crowley

Chapter 46: I have many men, and don't need you

Vivienne pushed open the door to the dressing room and sat down. She looked at herself in the mirror - her face was beautiful, but her eyes were fierce with ambition. Sebastian had arrived. What should she do now?

Today Sebastian came specifically to see her, and his gaze made Vivienne certain that he was interested in her. Otherwise, he wouldn't have come after she played a trick on him that night. Since he was interested, she would string him along and make that interest grow stronger.NôvelDrama.Org owns this.

She wanted to be proud, but there was no place for pride in the entertainment industry. Newcomers without connections could only dream of making it big.

Besides Sebastian, there was no one else in Los Angeles who could help her climb higher.

Furthermore, she didn't have the capital to go against Sebastian; she couldn't win against him. Instead of fighting him head-on and being crushed like an ant under his foot, it would be better to use him as a tool.

But just thinking about how Sebastian continued to trample on her self-esteem filled Vivienne with bitterness. She looked down at her hands - if only they were strong enough to slap Sebastian dead with one blow... Vivienne was always decisive; she never hesitated when taking action.

She heard footsteps outside the door and stood up before walking over to a nearby coat rack.

The door opened behind Vivienne's back as she reached for the zipper on her dress from behind:

"Dylan," said Vivienne without turning around. "The zipper is stuck - can you help me?"

After a moment someone walked up behind Vivienne and unzipped her dress for her while standing very close by their breath hot on the nape of Vivienne's neck causing an itchiness sensation:

"Okay," said Vivienne once it was done. "You can leave now so I can change."

But the person behind her didn't move, causing Vivienne to turn around and ask: "Why aren't you leaving?"

When she turned around, Vivienne was surprised to see Sebastian standing there. She had known it was him from his footsteps - they were distinct from Dylan's.

It was all intentional on her part; seduction required some skill.

Vivienne's retreat made her intentions clear, but Sebastian locked eyes with her and took two steps forward until he had backed Vivienne up against the wall with his arms on either side of her:

"Everything here belongs to me," said Sebastian coldly. "If I want you, then you're mine. Why should I knock?"

Vivienne could feel his anger at that moment and knew she had pushed too far in trying to string him along without playing coy: "Fine then, I'll leave."

She bent down as if to slip out from under Sebastian's arm but he pressed down hard on her back instead: "Did I say you could go?"

Suddenly serious, Vivienne asked through gritted teeth: "Then what do you want Mr. Crowley?"

Sebastian sneered coldly: "Last time you went pretty hard on me... who else makes you feel good besides me?"

The wound on Sebastian's neck still hurt faintly even though it wasn't a heavy blow; this feeling would probably stay with him for life. Just because of this one thing alone, Vivienne would always have a place in his heart. Looking up at him mockingly while forcing a smile onto her face twice over she replied sarcastically:

"Haha! That's funny! There are plenty of men who make me feel good - don't worry about being the only one..."
