Chapter 59 Can't You Be Together If You Like Each Other?
Brandon put down his telescope, helplessly squatted down and looked at Bonny. He said patiently, "I
know you care about Mommy's love life, but that doesn't mean you should be rash."
"I'm not rash!" Bonny pursed her lips, "Brandon, you always think I don't understand anything, but I
think Daddy likes Mommy. Otherwise, why does he play with us?"
"Do you know that Mommy and Richard used to be together?"
Bonny was shocked. "What? Mommy and Daddy used to together?"
"But now they are separated. Do you know the reason?" Brandon nodded.
Bonny shook her head honestly.
How could she know that? She just even knew that they were together.
Brandon sat down next to her, "Things are a little complicated. You won't understand even though I
explain it to you. In brief, there are mnay misunderstandings between them that you can't solve."
Bonny frowned and muttered, "Is it too complicated? Why do adults have so many complicated issues? This text is © NôvelDrama/.Org.
Can't you be together if you like each other?"
"That's why they are adults," Brandon reached out and combeded the messy bangs on her forehead.
"Do you want ice cream?"
Bonny was still angry with Brandon, but when she heard "ice cream," she began to hesitate. After a
moment, she gritted her teeth and spat out a word spinelessly. "Yes."
Two children were in the living room, when Pearl arrived home.
Brandon was typing something on his laptop, while Bonny was holding a tub of ice cream with a happy
face.
"Why are you eating ice cream? Brandon, don't you to watch her? You will have a stomachache, if you
eat too much." Pearl hung her key, changed her shoes and went into the house.
"I didn't eat too much today. This was the first bite." Bonny had a naughty face.
"Do you think I'll trust you?" Pearl rolled her eyes at her, "You can only have two more bites before
putting the ice cream back into the fridge. Otherwise, you won't get to eat it anymore tomorrow. I'll
watch you at home tomorrow."
"Ah! Mommy, are you not going to work tomorrow?" Bonny blinked.
"Yes, I'm not going to work recently."
Brandon immediately raised his head from behind the laptop when he heard that Pearl would not go to
work. With sharp eyes, he found that Pearl had a bandage wrapped around her hand and stood up ay
once, "Mommy, are you hurt?"
Bonny stopped eating ice cream and followed Brandon's gaze. Then she saw Pearl's right hand
wrapped with bandages. Her face changed immediately. "Mommy, your hand."
"I'm ok and just injured. I'll be fine after resting for several days."
Pearl did not care very much. Anyway, she did not want to go back to that filming crew. It was totally
not enough for her to deal with Evelina, she would rather stay at home.
She determined that if the hospital in the city still didn't allow her go back to work, she would apply to
be transferred back to the hospital abroad and stop consider staying in Kityall City.
"Mommy!" Bonny put down her ice cream and ran towards Pearl. She didn't even wear slippers. When
she ran to her, her eyes were red. "Mommy, does it hurt?"
Although Bonny always made trouble for Pearl, her tears immediately streamed down her face when
she saw that Pearl was injured. She could not be comforted.
"It doesn't hurt. Bonny, don't cry. It's okay." Pearl squatted down and said.
"How can it not hurt?" Looking at her hand wrapped in bandages, Bonny wanted to touch it but did not
dare to. She suddenly burst into tears and said in between her sobs, " Mommy, Let's go back to where
we were. I don't like it here anymore. It's not good at all."
"Bonny." Pearl suddenly panicked.
Many emotions surfaced, but Bonny could hear nothing. Focusing on Pearl's injured hand, she cried
breathlessly. She sobbed and ran back into her room, pulling out her little bee suitcase and starting to
pack up her things.
"Bonny, what are you doing?" Pearl followed her to the bedroom and stood behind her.
"Let's go." Bonny threw her clothes and toys into the suitcase while wiping her tears. "Mommy, let's
leave here. It's not good here at all. After we come back, mommy is always unhappy. Auntie is also bad
and Mommy is injured now..."
"I'm happy." Pearl was both moved and helpless. She grabbed Bonny with her other hand. "Okay,
Bonny. I'm really fine."
Rubbing her eyes and pursing her mouth, Bonny was trying to suppress her anger. She was even
breatheless.
"Bonny is a good girl. I know you care about me, but I'm really fine. Good girl..." Pearl held her in her
arms and patted her on the back to help her breathe.
......
"When I finish my work here, Mommy will take you and Brandon back to Maniville."
......
"We will go back to Maniville and also live with Ethan."
......
Bonny cried until she had no strength left and fell asleep in Pearl's arms.
Pearl put her on the bed and covered her with the quilt. She saw Brandon was silently cleaning up the
suitcase and the pile of messy clothes.
"Brandon, you can do it later," Pearl said in a low voice and waved at him, motioning him to talk
outside.
After closing the door, Pearl released and sat down on the sofa with Brandon.
"What's wrong with Bonny today? Why was she throwing such a tantrum?" Pearl asked.
She was hurt before. Even though Bonny was very worried every time, she didn't cry like this.
"Richard just sent you back. Bonny saw it and wanted to go downstairs, but I stopped her." Brandon
said.
Hearing this, Pearl's heart clicked. Looking at Brandon's clear eyes, she felt an inexplicable guilty. She
explained hurriedly, "He was visiting the filming crew. I got injured, so he took me home."
Brandon was not as curious as Bonny, so he didn't ask more. He did not even care about what Pearl
said and continued the previous topic. "Bonny has just been bored at home for too long. It would be
better to send her to school."
Send her to school?
Pearl leaned on the sofa helplessly when she thought of this.
She had started to communicate witha school since she came back. However, because of the
children's nationality, they could not go to a public school, and the only option was a bilingual private
school. The admission procedures were simple, but the tuition fees were expensive. The school that
Pearl liked cost two hundred thousand dollars annually. That would be four hundred thousand dollars
for two children.
After returning to her room, Pearl calculated her savings and investments. She could raise four
hundred thousand, but in that way, there would be some difficulties in the later life.
It was not a small issue that she remained unemployed. She still needed to support herself and her two
children.
