My Pretty Sweetheart (Arianna)

Chapter 2247

Chapter 2247

Aaron gasped in pain and pinched the space between his eyebrows to protest. "I'm a patient. Can you be gentler?"

Emma was indifferent and picked up an apple to peel it.

Aaron felt snubbed and tried to find a way out. "Don't mind your sister-in-law. She's jealous. What did you cook? Take it out."

I quickly got up and set up the table on the bed. "I made some stew and two light dishes. The doctor said you should watch what you eat."Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.

As expected, Aaron would not be able to enjoy any good food for the next few months.

Aaron didn't mind it at all, probably because he didn't want to make me feel guilty. He scooped up a spoonful of chicken stew and put it into his mouth. "Hmm, there's progress. Arianna, you can take full charge of my patient meals from now on." Feeling a lump in my throat, I subconsciously nodded my head like a rattle-drum and said, "Okay, I'll cook all sorts of dishes for you every day."

Aaron calmly accepted your offer. "Thank you so much. Haha..."

Emma shook her head and deliberately teased him, "Someone won't even let other people touch a strand of his sister's hair, yet doesn't have that demeanour in private. You only know how to take advantage of her."

Aaron was not angry. He smiled cheekily and stretched out his neck to talk back. "If you are willing to cook for me, I can also do my best to take advantage of you."

Hearing that, Emma rolled her eyes, and Aaron immediately gave in. He put his head down and continued to eat his stew.

The atmosphere was so relaxed that I had the illusion that nothing had happened. It felt as though Aaron hadn't met with an accident, and his hands were still in good condition. He was still the young master who behaved like a gentleman in front of his close friends. Whenever I was bullied, he would stand up and beat the bullies up without hesitation.

However, I was clear that this was another kind of consideration that the couple gave me. After all, there was something bitter in our hearts under the calm surface.

Just when I thought that avoiding this topic would be a conventional tacit understanding, Aaron mentioned it straightforwardly. He did not play by the rules.

"Jordan, that b*stard, played dirty just because he can't beat me. Next time, I will never let him have the chance again," Aaron said while eating. With a tremble of his hand, some stew splashed on his face.

Emma sighed helplessly and wiped his mouth roughly. He moved backward, trying to avoid her hand.

"Don't move." Emma then used both

of her hands, which made Aaron unable to move. She wiped his face again and again. Finally, she examined him closely and before letting go with satisfaction

Aaron frowned. After he had regained his freedom, he began to talk with ease. "Launching a surprise attack? They should ask around how I, Aaron, have survived to this day. Those thugs would be finished sooner or later."

As he spoke, he snorted in contempt.

Emma directly stuffed the peeled apple in his mouth and said, "You should have learned your lesson. Do you want to lose your left hand as well?" Aaron took a bite and held the apple. He stared at her with embarrassment. He wanted to refute but seemed to realize something and swallowed the words shyly.

Although I knew that she did not deliberately target me, I still felt sorry for Aaron's right hand.

Our depressed look probably upset Emma. She was exasperated and said, "It's a blessing to only lose your right hand. It's better than losing your live, isn't it?"
