Chapter 250
Chapter 250
The manager was sweating bullets on the inside. Barbie was a well-known diva in the industry, a real piece of work. It was just some overeager fan causing a scene, and the security could easily handle it. Yet there he was, summoned to deal with it personally.
However, Liam did not just walk away as the manager had expected. Instead, he posed a question.
"You're the manager of this place?"
The manager spun around, baffled, and eyed Liam with a mix of surprise and confusion. "Yeah, I run this mall. What's it to you?"
"Well, since you're in charge, here's the deal: your mall is done working with her. No more events, no more collabs, nothing with this lady, got it?"
The crowd gasped. The guy was talking like he owned the place!
The manager was taken aback and then sneered at Liam with a mix of amusement and scorn.
"Are you for real? You think you're some big shot who can just cancel deals with Ms. Barbie Yack? Who do you think you are, acting like you own the joint?"
Barbie herself could not help but laugh at the absurdity of it all.
"Unbelievable, the kind of people you run into. Some nobody thinks he can just waltz in and break off a deal with me? As if I'm that easy to book!" Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.
Liam's bold declaration turned even the onlookers, who had been on his side, against him. They joined in with Barbie's die-hard fans, chuckling and shaking their heads at his audacity.
"Has this guy lost his marbles? One second he's the victim, the next he's puffing up like he's the king of the hill."
"Ugh, clueless bunch, this dude's just trying to hitch a ride on Barbie's skyrocketing fame. It's so obvious."
"And the stuff he spouts, all hot air and no substance, telling the mall manager to ditch our Barbie deal like he's the big boss!"
"However, what if he's actually the owner? That would explain the gutsy talk, right?"
"Seriously, you housewives need to get a clue. Do you even realize how much this place is worth? With his bargain-bin getup, owning this joint? As if!"
In a flash, the onlookers who had felt sorry for him just shook their heads in dismay. Kids those days were so quick to blow their own trumpets!
The Barbie fans in the crowd got all worked up again, jostling to get closer, and the scene nearly spiraled out of control.
Yet there stood Liam, composed as a cucumber, whipping out his phone to make a call.
"Snap up Quarnstrom's Christopher Mall for me in five, I want the whole kit and caboodle!"
Meanwhile, Kolten Reath, in the middle of a meeting, saw Liam's call and answered with due deference, "Mr. Cole, just a sec, I'm on it!"
In no time at all, Kolten's assistant had the lowdown on Christopher Mall.
"Mr. Cole, that'll be 150 million bucks!"
Kolten did not even blink as he quickly responded, "Mr. Cole, we've got it. Christopher Mall's valued at 150 million dollars. Are you sure you want to buy it?"
Liam gave a chilly grunt and ordered in a frosty tone, "Yeah, get their CEO here in ten minutes. I want to see him now."
"Right away!"
