Chapter 777
Chapter 777
Mandy seemed unaware of Bradley's intimidating stare. She maintained her pleasant smile and said,
"Mr. Quill, would you and your companion like to have a seat while you wait?"
Oliver gave Mandy a cold, dismissive look and declined the offer.
Bradley approached Mandy confidently, placing his arm around her waist. He spoke in a somewhat
threatening tone by her ear. "Mandy, when distinguished guests like Mr. Quill are visiting, can we avoid
trivial questions?" NôvelDrama.Org owns all © content.
Mandy quickly said, "Of course. I'm sorry. I'll have the service staff prepare everything."
Bradley chuckled and added, "Please do. Also, instruct the staff to assist these gentlemen with their
investigation. Understand?"
"As you wish." Mandy turned and strolled inside.
Did Bradley believe she would inform Oliver? He was overthinking. She wouldn't help Esther escape
from him. However, the moment of nervousness she noticed on Bradley's face was intriguing.
Once Mandy left, Bradley continued to observe Oliver without displaying any emotion. He knew that
with Oliver's personality, he would surely search Warner Manor. He couldn't stop them, so he decided
to let them proceed.
If they found Esther, he would release her once more. As long as he lived, he would continue to bring
Esther back to him.
Gabriel remained silent, standing beside Oliver as he observed Bradley. He couldn't help but wonder
how the charming child from years ago had transformed into this ruthless and arrogant person. He
considered that losing his parents might have made him extreme and overbearing.
Mandy arranged a table in the garden. It was adorned with an embroidered tablecloth, vases of fresh
flowers, a variety of fruits, desserts, and tea. She ensured that the service staff not only prepared food
for Oliver and Gabriel but also assisted the search and rescue team as much as possible.
The expansive estate was now bustling with unfamiliar faces, and search and rescue dogs meticulously
scoured the area.
-
Several hours passed, yet they had not found Esther.
Bradley checked his wristwatch and elegantly stood up. He turned to Oliver and said, "Mr. Quill, if you
find the meticulous search troublesome, why not consider using explosives to clear the hill?"
Oliver snorted. "Bradley, our actions are observed by a higher power. Don't assume that everything you
do is flawless…"
Bradley clapped his hands and sneered. "It's surprising to see the esteemed head of the Quill Group
making such remarks. If there's divine retribution, what's the use of the law?"
Bradley turned to look at the building behind him. "Mr. Quill, it seems you'll be leaving empty-handed."
Gabriel, leaning on his cane, approached Bradley and slapped him.
"Bradley, if your grandfather knew what you're doing, he would regret it! He would regret letting Esther
marry you!
"Is this how you treat the girl you begged for and were so determined to marry? Bradley, I hope you
suffer and lose everything!"
Bradley looked at Gabriel and then smiled coldly. "We're not close, are we?"
"We're not. Your grandfather and I were comrades.
"I saw you when you were born. I've watched you grow up, but I never expected that Thomas, a man of
integrity, would have a descendant like you!"
