My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley)

Chapter 769

Chapter 769

Bradley couldn't muster the patience to read every line of Jasper's messages. To him, those messages

felt like a silent taunt, as if they were telling Bradley that Jasper loved and cared for Esther more. Every

word hit Bradley's sensitive nerves. C0ntent © 2024 (N/ô)velDrama.Org.

In a decisive move, Bradley blocked Jasper. After doing so, he reopened the chat box and carefully

reviewed the messages. When he saw the allergens Jasper had mentioned, he jumped from his chair

in shock.

He clutched his phone and dashed into the secret chamber like a whirlwind. There, he found Esther in

the crystal coffin, covered in hives due to an allergy. Her lips had turned a faint shade of purple, and

her eyes were shut as if in death.

"Esther!" Bradley called out, but she remained motionless.

He scooped her from the crystal coffin in a hurry, ignoring everything else, and rushed her out of the

bedroom. As he reached the garage, he spotted Mandy in the garden, seemingly slightly tipsy. She

looked at the unconscious Esther in Bradley's arms, a mix of shock and panic on her face.

"Bradley, how did Esther end up here?" she asked.

Bradley didn't have the patience for small talk and snapped at Mandy, "Step aside."

Mandy not only refused to step aside but sauntered closer to where Esther lay. "It seems like she's

having an allergic reaction. Are you taking her to the hospital?"

Suppressing her inner delight, Mandy feigned concern and said, "But it's too late for her to go to the

hospital in this condition. I remember we have epinephrine auto-injectors here. I'll get it for you."

"Hurry up!"

Mandy rummaged around before pretending to find the epinephrine auto-injector.

Bradley snatched it from her and forcefully administered it to Esther.

Mandy also handed a glass of warm water to Bradley. With one hand holding Esther and the other

holding the water, Bradley tried to help Esther drink. However, Esther couldn't swallow a drop, and the

water trickled down her lips, following a path down her neck.

"Bradley, how did Esther have an allergic reaction?" Mandy asked.

Bradley's intense gaze bore into Mandy. "I should be asking you this."

"You are Esther's ex-husband. You didn't tell me what foods she's allergic to." Mandy refused to take

responsibility for causing Esther's allergies despite intentionally triggering them.

Bradley was unaware of that. The real Mandy couldn't have known about Esther's food allergies. She

had simply sent the fruit platter that the service staff had prepared to Bradley. She had no way of

knowing that Bradley would give it to Esther. After all, he had previously claimed that Esther wasn't at

Warner Manor.

As the medicine took effect, Esther's symptoms improved slightly. Her lifeless face began to show a

glimmer of vitality.

"It seems that Esther's condition is getting better." Not wanting to deal with an angry Bradley, Mandy

spoke softly. "I think I'll go to rest now. Goodnight."

"Wait." Bradley stopped Mandy, who was about to leave. She looked at Bradley with a curious

expression, wearing an elegant but fake smile. "Yes?"

"Esther is not at Warner Manor. Understand?" he warned.
