Chapter 733
Chapter 733
Felix grew weary from crying and eventually dozed off in Esther's comforting arms. She observed her
son's peaceful slumber, pondering Bradley's actions.
Why had he used their daughters to threaten her? What fueled his intense hatred for her?
"Esther, have some water," Jasper kindly offered her a glass.
Esther, teary-eyed, accepted and turned to Jasper with a raspy voice, asking, "Jasper, why does
Bradley despise me so much?"
"I can't say," Jasper replied, shifting the focus to Kevin.
"I'm in the dark as well," Kevin quickly said. This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
"You've done many things for Bradley, and you don't know?" Jasper asked mockingly.
Kevin distanced himself from Bradley and admitted, "I honestly don't."
"If you don't, then who does?" Jasper retorted sarcastically. "If you had told Esther earlier that Bradley
didn't know where her daughters were, would she have been threatened by him?"
Kevin stood speechless, seething with frustration.
"No! I never expected Bradley to stoop so low as to use his daughters against Esther. Who in their right
mind would do that to their spouse?" he exclaimed.
Jasper wholeheartedly agreed with him.
"Esther, if you face any future problems, don't panic. We're here for you. Just speak up, and we'll work
together to find a solution," Jasper assured her.
Kevin chimed in. "Bradley thinks you're too trusting and soft. That's why he's acting so boldly. Esther,
don't worry. I'm also actively searching for your daughters. I'll keep you informed if there's any news."
Curious, Jasper asked, "How far have you progressed in your search?"
Kevin said, "I've traced it back to Cole, but he had an accident. I believe finding the children and
determining their location hinges on finding him."
"But the million-dollar question is: Is Cole still alive?" Jasper pondered. "I recall Bradley offering a
reward to locate Cole... Wait a moment."
Jasper paused, deep in thought.
"What's the matter? What have you come up with?"
"Could it be that Cole is the one who hid Esther's children? I remember Cole was a student Mr. Thomas
sponsored," Jasper suggested.
Kevin rejected the idea, saying, "It's impossible! I've investigated Cole. He's been working with Bradley
for the past five years and is single. If he were hiding the children, he'd need a place to do it. He barely
takes breaks, always assisting Bradley. When he's free, he volunteers at a welfare institution. Besides,
my research showed that Cole has been kind to Pixie and Tinkerbell."
Jasper shrugged helplessly. "So, the children just vanished into thin air?"
Seeing Esther's tears, Kevin tried to console her. "Esther, there must be some clues left behind.
Everything leaves traces. We just haven't found them yet. With patience, we'll eventually uncover the
evidence."
"Kevin, Jasper, thank you both."
Noticing Esther's fatigue, Jasper compassionately suggested, "You should rest now. Kevin and I will
discuss the information about the children."
Esther expressed her gratitude, "Thank you."
Those present around Esther now had a clearer understanding of Bradley's character.
