My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley)

Chapter 691

Chapter 691

Esther held the rifle, feeling its weight in her hands, causing her to tremble. She hadn't had much time

to think before she aimed it at Bradley's forehead. She wanted to escape, to distance herself, and

never let herself be soft-hearted toward Bradley again.

Bradley raised an eyebrow, his cold eyes locked onto Esther as he provocatively commented, "Esther,

your stance with the gun looks quite impressive."

Under the scorching sun, Esther exuded a wild beauty. She appeared like a fierce lioness, baring its

teeth, shaking its golden fur, radiating an intense allure that strangely stirred others' desires to conquer

her.

"Bradley, please, just let me go!" Esther pleaded, her fingers trembling on the trigger. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

Bradley seized the rifle's front end and pressed the barrel against his forehead. "I won't let you go

unless I die right here."

Esther hadn't expected Bradley to be so fearless, as if he was certain she wouldn't dare pull the trigger.

"Bradley, don't push me!"

Beneath the sun, Bradley looked wicked and arrogant. His white hair exuded a chilling aura bathed in

sunlight like he was perched on a snowy mountain peak.

"Esther, all you have to do is pull that trigger, and you can regain your freedom. Are you brave enough?

Can you pull that trigger?"

Esther's grip on the rifle visibly wavered.

"You won't pull the trigger! Because you still love me!"

Esther gazed at Bradley, her voice hoarse. "No, I don't love you. My biggest mistake was ever loving

you!"

Bradley laughed scornfully and challenged, "Then prove it! Shoot me if you don't love me!"

Esther shut her eyes and suddenly moved the gun barrel toward Bradley's shoulder, pulling the

trigger...

But there was no expected gunshot.

Bradley spread his arms and strolled over to a nearby chair. He looked at the frozen Esther and

casually lit a cigar, taking a puff. He sneered. "Esther, did you really think I'd give you a loaded gun?"

Esther hadn't considered that there might be no bullets in the rifle, which explained Bradley's

confidence.

"You were testing me?!" Esther couldn't believe it.

Bradley blew out smoke and mocked, "Was I?"

Esther's heart sank. She didn't know what Bradley had planned next, but she knew her torment was far

from over.

"Bradley, what do you want?" she asked weakly.

What would it take for him to release her?

Bradley clapped his hands twice mockingly and said, "Applaud yourself for the performance."

Before Esther could react, Bradley snapped his fingers and instructed Sally, "Retrieve the box from the

refrigerator."

Sally was also shaken by Bradley's ruthless demeanor. Still, she rushed to the refrigerator and brought

back a box adorned with a pink bow. "Mr. Warner."
