Chapter 675
Chapter 675
Bradley casually pulled out a chair and seated himself, crossing his legs. His fingers, slender as they
were, tapped on his knee like he was playing a piano.
"Come here," he beckoned.
Mandy was uncertain about what was happening, but she still approached Bradley. He gently touched
her neck and asked, "Does it hurt?" His voice carried a gentleness that matched his affectionate gaze.
Confused by Bradley's sudden change in demeanor, Mandy replied honestly, "It hurts a little."
With tenderness in his eyes, Bradley examined the mark he had caused on her neck and said, "You
shouldn't have spoken up for her."
Mandy fell silent.
"Mandy, you donated your liver to save me. You're my savior, and I'll repay and cherish you," Bradley
declared.
His gaze was devoted, but Mandy couldn't help feeling a chill down her spine. How could Bradley say
such unsettling things with such a gentle tone? What did he truly want?
She couldn't help but wonder if he intended to confine her in a crystal coffin like Esther.
"Mandy, I'll give you everything you want," he said.
Perplexed, Mandy asked, "Really?"
"Of course," Bradley assured her.
He then held Mandy's slightly cold hand and affectionately kissed the back of it. "I frightened you
earlier. I apologize; I won't do that again."
Mandy couldn't help but glance at Esther in the crystal coffin. She felt terrified of the unpredictable
Bradley before her.
Bradley pinched her chin and commanded chillingly, "Mandy, pay attention."
Mandy forced a smile and softly replied, "Mr. Warner, it's a bit chilly in the basement. Can we leave,
please?"
She was feeling nervous and uneasy while looking at the crystal coffin. It was as if it had been
prepared for her.
"Sure," Bradley agreed.
He released Mandy's hand and pressed a button on the remote control. The crystal coffin's lid slowly
closed.
Mandy noticed how obedient Esther seemed out of the corner of her eye, which left her incredibly
shocked.
What had Bradley done to Esther? Why was she so submissive now? It was different from her original
character!
"Mandy, the suite at the end of the second-floor corridor is your bedroom," Bradley said.
Mandy looked at her woolen sweater and asked, "Mr. Warner—"
"Call me Bradley," he insisted. Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.
Mandy complied. "Bradley, can I shop online here? I want to buy some clothes. It's too hot in this outfit."
"The clothes you want will be delivered here shortly. Be good, go to your room, and rest," Bradley
replied gently, despite his unsettling words that made Mandy's heart race in fear.
She smiled and said, "Then I'll go rest. Just call me if you need anything."
Mandy ascended the stairs and pushed open the door at the end of the corridor. She was unsure
whether the room had surveillance cameras, so she refrained from revealing too much.
She lay on the bed and wondered, 'What has Esther done to provoke Bradley like this?'
After lying on the pillow for a while, she reached for her phone, intending to call Liora.
However, her phone had no signal.
She glanced at the phone on the bedside table and tried to dial Liora's number.
