Chapter 784 Her Personal Character
While eating breakfast, Colin glanced over the messages of the group chat.
Then he put down his fork and sent Robert a text message.
[What happened last night?]
Robert replied to Colin's message quickly.
[Nothing. When I sent Aniston back, we encountered a stalking fan, and I fought with him. Then we
went to the police station. The matter has been settled.]
[Come over for a drink tonight?]
[In your house?]
[Yes.]

At this moment, Faye peeled a boiled egg and gave it to Colin. "Is it about work?"
Colin raised his head and took the egg. Then he handed the phone to Faye and said, "That's Robert."
Faye asked curiously, "What happened to him?"
Colin raised his chin and motioned. "Read the text messages."
Faye took the phone and scanned through the messages. Then she asked, "Was Aniston hurt?"
"With Robert, she can't be injured." Colin chuckled, "Honey, you are deeply concerned about her."
Faye told the truth, "She is now the most popular star of the Farrell Media. Besides, I admire her
personal character."
Colin took a bite of the boiled egg and nodded, agreeing, "Aniston is indeed a good star."
"I remember that the company bought a new historical script a while ago, and I'll let her try to audition
for its female leading role."
Colin smiled and asked, "Are you going to secretly decide to choose her as the heroine?"
Faye said with candor, "No, it depends on her ability, not on our relationship. If she is unsuccessful in
the audition, I will not help her get the role."
While the two of them were talking, Lance, who had just woken up, walked in from outside the door
with tangled hair. After saying hello to Colin and Faye, he went straight into the kitchen to find Cindy to
get something to eat.
"Cindy, what is for breakfast?"
Hearing the voice, Cindy turned her head and said in surprise, "Lance, what did you do last night? Did
you get into a fight?"
Lance raised his hand and casually fixed his hair. Then he grinned and replied, "Well, you know me so
well."
Cindy filled a bowl of salmon and vegetable soup and handed it to Lance. She knew he was a joker
and then said jokingly, "Fighting is really tiring, and you should eat more this morning to refresh
yourself."
"I know you care about me the most." Then Lance walked to Faye with the soup and sat down next to
her.
Faye turned her head sideways and asked, "Where's Andy?"
It was late, but Andy hadn't got up yet, which was unlike what he would do.
Hearing Faye mention Andy, Lance choked on the soup. After a bad cough, he said, "He... He's
probably...sleeping. I don't know."
Lance seldom spoke in a disorderly manner, so his words made Faye couldn't help but give him a few
more glances.
When Faye frowned and was about to ask something more, Colin kicked her foot under the table. After
she looked over, he mouthed, "Eat your breakfast."
Because of the matter, the atmosphere during breakfast was a bit strange.
After the meal, Faye was sitting on the sofa in the living room eating canned fruit made by Cindy. At
this time, Andy walked in from outside the door with a terrible look.
Seeing Faye and Colin, Andy said hello expressionlessly.
"Mr. Farrell, Mrs. Farrell."
Colin glanced at Andy and nodded in response.
Faye looked at Colin and said, "Andy seems to be in a bad mood today."
"Does he?"
"I'm sure he does."
As soon as Faye finished speaking, Lance's begging came from the dining room.
"Andy, I was wrong. It's all my fault!
"It will never happen again, I swear!
"I was drunk last night!
"We're best friends, and it was nothing. Don't be like that.
"I've apologized. What else do you want?"
Lance said a lot.
When he finished speaking, Andy smashed a bowl with a bang.
The atmosphere in the dining room suddenly became tense.
Faye put down the canned fruit, took a tissue to wipe her mouth, and asked Colin, "Are you sure not
going to check it out?"
Colin chuckled, "I'll go. After all, I don't want the two to ruin my dining room."
Then he gave Faye a soothing look, stood up, and walked to the dining room.
In the dining room, Lance was sitting, while Andy was standing. They confronted each other, both with
terrible looks.
Andy, in particular, had a very gloomy look, and it was obvious that he was trying to suppress his anger.
Originally, Lance felt a little guilty, but maybe because he was angry with Andy or something, he leaned
back in his chair and said with a smile, "The matter has already happened. What do you want to do? I
wonder why you're so angry. Is it because you are actually an unmarried woman?"
Andy flushed and shouted, "Shut up!"
Lance acted shamelessly and said, "I wanted to shut up. This morning, I was going to pretend like
nothing happened, but you provoked me."
Andy didn't have a ready tongue, so he didn't know how to retort when hearing Lance's sharp words.
In the next second, Andy stepped forward with a sullen look, picked up Lance's collar, raised his fist,
and wanted to beat him. But Andy finally gritted his teeth, pushed Lance into the chair hard, and said
fiercely, "I never want to see you again."
"Then please avoid me when seeing me in the future."
Andy glared at Lance and turned to leave.
The two had a fierce argument without scruples, even if Colin was also in the dining room, and no one
talked to him.
It wasn't until Andy slammed the door and left that Lance said to Colin, "Colin, do you have any
cigarettes?"
Colin sneered, walked to the living room, took a box of cigarettes from the drawer, and threw it to
Lance.
Lance caught the box, lowered his head, took a cigarette out, and lit it. Then he took a puff on the
cigarette and said, "I will go back to see my mom tonight and stay with her at home for a few days."
Colin sat next to Lance and asked with a faint smile, "What did you do to Andy?"
Lance bit the cigarette in his mouth flat and said in a muffled voice, "He didn't lose anything. Why is he
angry?"
After speaking, he continued to smoke.
Colin smiled and slapped the back of Lance's head.
Lance shook his shoulders and said without raising his head, "Colin, I..."
Before he could finish his words, he got a lump in his throat.
Upon seeing this, Colin smiled and said, "Look for a chance to apologize to Andy later."
Lance was just being stubborn. "Why should I apologize to him?"
Colin said, "Don't you know? You played a trick on him. Shouldn't you apologize?"
Lance looked down at the ground and felt very aggrieved, but he didn't know who to tell and he couldn't
tell anyone.
After smoking the cigarette, Lance stood up, sorted out his clothes, and said with a decadent
expression, "Colin, I'll go back first."
Then he walked straight outside the door with his head down, without looking at Colin.
Colin stood up with a chuckle and said deliberately, "Well, go back and get some sleep."
Hearing this, Lance stumbled and almost fell as he stepped out.
Colin laughed, "Remember to apologize to him."
Lance said with a dull voice, "I see."
Seeing Lance leave, Colin returned to the living room.
Faye looked at Colin and asked, "What happened between Lance and Andy?"
Colin walked to the sofa opposite Faye and sat down. He asked rhetorically, "Honey, what do you think
of same-sex feelings?"
Faye replied, "From the perspective of an outsider, I think we should be strict with ourselves and treat
others leniently. Blame on self instead of on others, and forgive others instead of self."
Colin lowered his head and kissed Faye's lips. "Honey, I think it must be very comfortable and happy to
live with you for the rest of my life."
