After sending the message, Colin leaned back into the chair. His temples kept throbbing. Even though
he was pressing them with his fingers, it did not help.
After a while, Maxwell replied, "I will do it as soon as possible."
After Faye returned to the PR department, she took out her mobile phone and sent Lance a message,
saying, "Keep a close watch on Andy."
Lance replied with a question mark.
Faye said, "I just want you to learn more from him."
Lance asked, "There is something wrong, right?"
Faye replied, "Shut up."
The film festival soon came. And Faye accompanied Colin to attend it in an evening dress. He helped
her choose a champagne-colored halter dress, looking elegant and capable. Colin was wearing a black
suit and a black shirt. On such a solemn occasion, he didn't wear a tie, and the collar of his shirt was
unbuttoned, so he looked as frivolous as before.
The seats of the CEOs of several media companies were in the front row. After sitting down, Colin
leaned slightly toward Faye and said, "I heard Aniston will get an award this time?"
Faye replied, "Yes, the best actress."
Colin smiled, "You prepared flowers for her?"
Faye raised her eyebrows and asked, "How did you know?"All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.
Colin said with a half-smile, "Because I prepared flowers for her too."
Faye asked suspiciously, "Really?"
She knew him well. After all, they had expressed their feelings to each other. Although Aniston was
Farrell Media's artist, she believed he would not send flowers to female artists.
Seeing her curious face, Colin chuckled, "I sent flowers to her in the name of Robert."
Faye teased, "Does he know?"
Colin smirked, "Although I did a good deed, I won't seek recognition. I am a noble man after all."
Faye held back her laughter and said, "Well, Robert will thank you very much when he knows about it
in the future."
Colin showed a smug smile. When he was about to reply, a figure suddenly appeared in front of him.
Then, a woman crouched down and said in a soft and sweet voice, "Hi, Mr. Farrell."
Hearing her voice, Colin showed a cold face before he saw her face. Then, he turned his head to
glance at her and asked expressionlessly, "What's wrong?"
The girl looked in her early twenties. Her face was pretty, and her figure was curvy. When she squatted
in front of him, her breasts were fully revealed.
Hearing his question, the girl blushed scarlet and whispered, "I had a bet with my friend on whether I
can borrow a thing from you."
Colin said in a deep voice, "What thing?"
Seeing him so patient, she thought she had hope, so she said softly, "Your suit jacket."
When Colin heard this, his eyes turned cold.
Seeing this, the girl felt scared.
Colin then parted his thin lips and asked, "Do you know who the lady beside me is?"
The girl glanced at Faye, pursed her lips, and responded, "Ms. Nash."
Colin corrected, "No, she is Mrs. Farrell."
The girl's smile froze when she heard this, and then she said, "I, I know."
Seeing the embarrassment on her face, Colin indifferently jerked his chin at her and said, "Don't let me
embarrass you in public."
Hearing this, she tensed up, and her face flushed red. Then, she hurriedly apologized, got up, and left.
After witnessing the whole process, Faye tapped her slender fingers on the armrest of the seat and
said, "I didn't expect you to remain so popular."
Colin held her hand with a smile in his pretty eyes and said, "No matter how popular I am, I will only
belong to you."
Faye smiled, "Don't say such cheeky words."
Colin whispered, "Are you angry?"
Faye smiled, "Do you want to hear the truth?"
Seeing her smile, Colin put her hand in front of his mouth, kissed it, and said, "Well, I know you're
angry."
Faye stared at him and continued to smile in silence.
When they were staring at each other, a light suddenly flickered toward them.
Faye lifted her head to look over and said softly, "Reporters are taking pictures."
Colin generously reached out to help her fix her hair over her ears and said, "Let them do it. Later, I will
ask Robert to choose a few good pictures and allow them to put them on the tabloids."
Faye said, "You're scheming."
Colin smiled, "I'm not going to miss any chance to show affection in public."
When the starlet who had tried to borrow Colin's suit jacket ran back into the crowd, she said with
burning cheeks, "I lost."
Her friend teased, "Mr. Farrell refused to lend it to you?"
The starlet said unwillingly, "On such an occasion, even if he is willing to lend it to me, he can only say
no. There are reporters everywhere taking pictures."
Her friends said, "It is said that Mr. Farrell had been in one-sided love with Ms. Nash for eleven years
before marrying her. I wonder whether it is true."
The starlet replied, "How is that possible? Realty is different from TV series, OK? He just wants to
whitewash his bad reputation and gain a positive public persona."
Her friends said, "But he is indeed handsome. Especially when he is sitting among a bunch of greasy
middle-aged men."
The starlet glanced in the direction where Colin was sitting, then looked at Faye beside him, and said,
"I think Faye looks average."
Hearing this, the actress standing in front of her smiled in silence.
In the front row, when Colin was talking to Faye, her phone suddenly vibrated.
Faye sat up straight, took out her phone, looked down, and found it was Rebecca calling her.
When she answered the call, Rebecca said melancholy on the other end of the phone, "Faye, can you
come out to get me in? It's the first time I've participated in this kind of event, and it's embarrassing!"
Hearing this, Faye was stunned and asked, "Where are you?"
Rebecca replied, "At the entrance of the venue of the film festival. I came with Abbot. It's a long story.
You come out first..."
