Mr. President’s Wife (English)

CHAPTER 8

“Let’s eat better so all of that is gone.” Chris pointed to his friend’s hot-headedness.

Jayson, who was still angry, scolded his secretary after she made another mistake in photocopying what he ordered.

Jayson was very angry. He overturned everything his secretary dropped on the table.

Jayson picked it up and threw it in the face of the female secretary.

“Stop your taunting there.” Jayson was irritated like a child by Chris who continued with his taunting.

Jayson once again defied Chris’s incessant laughter. Because Chris saw- what he did to the secretary of making a mistake again. Because he was annoyed by the heat of his head at that time. He couldn’t stop the quick lifting of his hand when he picked up everything his secretary dropped on the floor. Then he threw it at his secretary, who burst into tears from fear and shock.

Jayson’s hand took the glass of ice tea he ordered. His mouth twitched. It was looming again that he would start getting hot his temper again.

When he held the glass tightly. When his eyes went to the contents of the glass. His eyebrows immediately raised in annoyance.

Jayson curled his lips bit. With annoying eyes. Chris, who was still laughing, immediately noticed. “Why?” he stopped laughing in shock. He saw Jayson look sour and face sour. “What’s the problem?” he asked Jayson again wondering why Jayson’s mood changed now. Its fiery appearance will attack again.

Who wouldn’t be annoyed? Jayson saw how much ice was in the glass he was holding. Chris looked down. He saw what Jayson was looking at. Then Jayson got the ice in his glass which started a new mood that started why Jayson’s face suddenly warmed up.

While Jayson holding his glass he notices almost half a glass of ice in his glass of ice tea. Jayson’s order, he strongly warned the waiter earlier after approach comes to them to take their order after presented the restaurant menu, where the waiter was taking good assisting of them and the waiter also nodded to Jayson as answering his request.

Jayson repeated more clearly so that the waiter would remember and understand what Jayson said for his request. Before the waiter turned his back and left he said “Don’t put too much ice in my ice tea. Please reduce the ice. I don’t want a lot of ice.” The waiter nodded in response. Then said before leaving. “Yes Sir. Noted, I’ll tell the kitchen staff.” The waiter answered him politely. Jayson even glanced at the waiter’s face before the waiter left and left them to deliver the piece of paper where the waiter wrote their food orders- in the kitchen.

That’s what Jayson noticed now and couldn’t escape his eyes. ‘After he saw. The glass is almost half full- ice. So cold that he didn’t like the taste. His ice tea is tasteless because of the many pieces of ice in his glass. “Pure ice!” he said casually as he looked up at Chris.

“Let it go, don’t pay attention to it. You already removed it.” Chris said to Jayson and continued what he stated.

Chris reminds his friend not to be rude now about what he noticed in his glass of ice tea.

“Don’t remark on them okay? Don’t make trouble. Why don’t you just drink that to cool down your mood and reduce your heat?” said Chris again with a smaller voice.

Chris’s voice is in normal temper. He stops laughing and annoying his friend.

Chris is chill while his friend is heating.

Chris suggested to his friend stop heating and don’t give any attention to the waiter. ‘That Jayson is thinking right away what he will do to that waiter.

If he needs to confront?

Does he need to reprimand? the waiter that assisted them when they ordered their food. Even the waiter who brought them food.

Chris knows what is on the mind of his friend. What is now playing in Jayson’s mind- while his forehead is wrinkled when Chris looks at him and seriously.

Chris pleads with his friend not to do that.

Chris tried not to laugh at the look on Jayson’s face as he uttered the disappointing ‘No taste. Pure ice.’

“I told you, didn’t I? Let it go. If you want we exchange drinks?” Chris offered his. It was a can of beer. Jayson raised an eyebrow at him and then said. “It’s too early for that.” Chris laughed there. That made Jayson laugh too.

It’s normal for Chris to drink in the morning. At lunch. Or, until his dinner. He always has a can of beer by his side. That’s what he frequently drinks.

Chris has a can of beer every day whenever he eats her meal. He adds it to his daily routine.

Chris felt more relaxing whenever he drinks at least a can of beer. Far from Jayson.

Jayson prefers to drink alcohol if he trips. He doesn’t like alcohol. Jayson prefers to rest when his work is done. When it the time for him to rest.

Jayson’s temper seemed to disappear when Chris removed away the temper that was about to explode him.

Jayson seems like an exploding volcano every time he explodes in anger.

Sometimes it’s hard to tame. He is also like a wild animal when he gets angry. He’s like a tiger that will pounce on you anytime and grab you if he wants. It’s scary.

There is only one person who can tame him other than his parents. Chris.

His friend Chris is the only one who has already memorized- his behavior. It can easily counter Jayson’s anger whenever it is angry at the world. Of course, Chris is his best friend because of the two of them. Chris has the greatest patience.

Chris is also the type of person you can easily get along with. But when it comes to Jayson. The road is steep for anyone who tries to try.

Jayson has a girlfriend but it’s dead. It took a long time before it won Jayson’s heart and trust.

But, Jayson’s girlfriend had an unlucky life.

Jane died because of an accident. She ran away from the person who wanted to do her harm. It was run over. Hit by a speeding truck.

Jayson’s girlfriend did not notice the high-speed truck while she ran.

Same as the driver of the truck- he did not immediately notice the girl who was running away from the man wanting to hurt her- while the driver drives a high-speed vehicle. The investigation revealed that it lost control. The truck’s brakes were cut. In the police investigation maybe someone on purpose cut the break. So that the truck driver- lost control.

Jayson’s girlfriend is still very nice. But she had lost the chance to live because of that man who wanted to hurt her.

Of course, Jayson was hurt by the death of his girlfriend. That’s why he was always in an evil mood. Everyday.

Chris was the only one who didn’t leave him. Until now, he was treated like his younger brother.

Chris is always ready to sympathize with Jayson. Because Jayson is the same as a child who always needs to be watched over and cared for in everything. ‘That’s why Chris very much cares about his friend. So there are also times when they are mistaken for lovers. They both always laughed at that.

The two laughed freely. Jayson’s temper has completely disappeared. It’s now keeping up with Chris’s laughter. It’s not normal for him whenever he’s alone. When he’s with Chris, he’s laughing.

The two turned at the same time when a waitress came to their table. It carries something.

The eyes of the two landed on the contents of the tray held by the waitress. The two discussed each other asking who ordered that food.

They don’t remember anything. Because neither of them- didn’t order the food that was on the tray held by the waitress.

Both of them would have asked when the waitress placed the tray on their table. They looked at the food they didn’t order. “Someone gave it to you.” looking at Jayson.

“It also said, enjoy your food.” The waitress said again and then suddenly backed away.

When Jayson looked back at the waitress, Chris would have followed him and also want to be looking at the waitress. Another woman arrived after the waitress had left. They were really surprised.

Jayson’s eyes widened and he also closed in shock when something suddenly splashed on his face. Good thing he closed his eyes quickly and turned his face to the other side.Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

They were very surprised by Chris. Jayson was furious. “F**k” he cursed harshly. He turned angrily to the woman who splashed the juice on his face. But he didn’t see the woman. The woman’s back was turned.

“Ja-” Chris couldn’t continue. Jayson stood up quickly and then chased after the woman. “You!” Jayson lost his anger feeling when he recognized who had done this to him. Eloisa. His heart pounded. Instead, he got angry.
