Chapter 432
Just as she decided to walk over, Mitchell stopped her. “Let’s just stay here.
Cynthia looked at him in confusion
In the next moment, Kendrick’s actions clarified Mitchell’s comment. Kendrick, Shirley, and Jimmy all held spark–emitting objects in their hands, approaching the square boxes. A succession of loud bangs echoed in the night, and beautiful, colorful fireworks lit up the dark sky, creating a stunning spectacle. Firework after firework lit up the night sky as if setting it ablaze.
Ring! Bang! Bang!
Another series of explosions filled the sky. The fireworks blossomed overhead, their multicolored sparks like a breathtaking painting. Cynthia watched in awe, the fireworks reflecting in her mesmerizing eyes. While she was captivated by the fireworks, Moe watched her.
Suddenly, a loud explosion echoed, and a massive firework bloomed in the sky. Then a message appeared: Cyn, we love you! The words glowed bright as day against the night sky. After a brief pause, they dispersed into numerous smaller fireworks, looking like shooting stars streaking across the sky.
“Sister! I love you!”
“Cynthia, I love you!”
“Cyn, we love you!”
Shirley, Jimmy, Kendrick, Jonathan, and the others, all standing where they had set off the fireworks, professed their love for her aloud Cynthia’s eyes welled up with tears, and her nose tingled. Although
she was not an overly emotional person, at that moment, watching their figures approach her, she felt her eyes moisten.
Mitchell took in the entire scene, gently rubbing her head. With affection and concern coloring his voice, he said, “Cyn, Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!
welcome back.”
“Boss, welcome back.” Moe, usually so cold and aloof, wore an unexpectedly soft expression.
Cynthia turned away, trying to hide her tears.
Shirley came dashing over, throwing herself into Cynthia’s arms. “Sister!”
Cynthia held her tightly. Kendrick, Jimmy, and Jonathan also came up to her.
“When did you prepare all this?” It took Cynthia a moment to regain her composure.
“We’ve been thinking about it since you came back, but we weren’t sure how to help you relax,” Shirley answered, stepping back from the embrace. She stood next to Cynthia, a smile gracing her face. “Then we remembered you once said you liked fireworks, so we prepared these.”
The place was tranquil and beautiful, far from the city’s hustle. It was a perfect place to unwind. Cynthia felt surrounded by warm affection at that moment. “Thank you, all of you.”
“Sister.” Shirley produced a small bouquet of tulips from seemingly nowhere and handed them to her. Her beautiful eyes reflected Cynthia “These are for you. I will always love you.
Following suit, the others also presented Cynthia with small bouquets of tulips, even Moe.
One by one, Cynthia accepted the bouquets, and all her worries seemed to vanish in that instant.
“Sister Cynthia, this flower might not be the most beautiful, but it represents our feelings best. We will love you, always,” Jimmy said to Cyntida, his face a mix of admiration and affection.
Shirley’s eyes squinted into crescents. “I will always love Cyn!”
Tulips are the flower that signifies eternal love.
Cynthia gave them a group hug. “Thank you.”
“It’s not over yet. We’ve prepared dinner over there, and I’ve personally made an adorable cake for you,” Shirley said, leading her by the hand, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
