Chapter 3518 Biochemical Weapon
Matthew's eyes flickered subtly. A biochemical weapon of this caliber wasn't something that could legally exist in the open market. Most nations couldn't even begin to develop such a weapon.
"Ha! Impressive, isn't it?" Garrett chuckled, evidently pleased with Matthew's reaction.
"It is. The weapon's power exceeded my expectations," Matthew replied evenly, nodding along with Garrett's boast.
"Let's go. We can't miss tonight's entry time, or we'll have to wait days and months again," Garrett said, gesturing toward the ship.
The vessel sailed swiftly toward its destination, guided by seasoned instincts rather than navigational instruments. The area's chaotic magnetic fields rendered conventional tools useless, requiring expert judgment to traverse. While the ship's route appeared straightforward, Matthew quietly noticed subtle shifts in its course multiple times.
Gradually, a warm yellow glow emerged in the darkness ahead.
"Matteo, do you see it? That's our destination-the Carnage Cruise. Paradise for the strong, a graveyard for the weak!" Garrett declared, his expression twisting into a manic grin.
Matthew remained silent, his calm demeanor concealing a flicker of annoyance. Garrett's erratic behavior often struck him as exhausting.
As the ship drew closer, a massive spotlight swept over it. Garrett, prepared for this, pulled a silver token from his pocket and shouted, "I'm a friend of Officer Deo!"
The token gleamed under the light, engraved with "Officer."
Moments later, a large platform descended from the towering cruise ship.noveldrama
"Honored guests, please come aboard. Officer Deo is expecting you," came a voice from above.
Garrett and Lenny stepped onto the platform, with Matthew following behind. The platform ascended
swiftly, depositing them on the grand ship's deck.
A man clad in a bulletproof vest approached Garrett and said respectfully, "Honored guest, Officer Deo is waiting for you in his quarters. Please, follow me."
As they walked, Matthew's gaze
swept over the deck. Soldiers armed
to the teeth stood at attention, stationed every five steps around the perimeter. The level of security was daunting, their presence radiating an oppressive vigilance.
The man led them to a room and stopped just outside the door. "Honored guests, I won't be joining you beyond this point," he said, bowing slightly.
Garrett smiled and pulled a wad of Dornia Emeralds from his pocket, handing it over.
The man's eyes lit up, and he broke into a grin. "Thank you, sir," he said before hurrying off with his
reward, not offering any further commentary.
Matthew cast a sidelong glance at Garrett, who appeared utterly unbothered as if such exchanges were routine.
Garrett knocked on the iron door. "Officer Deo, it's Garrett," he called out.
Matthew's sharp ears caught the faint sound of something heavy hitting the floor inside the room. It was almost imperceptible, but he noticed it, nonetheless.
Footsteps followed, growing louder
until the steel door swung open with startling speed and silence. A massive, rough hand appeared first, followed by the figure of Officer Deo.

Deo's bald head gleamed under the light, marred by a vicious scar that stretched from the left side of his face all the way down to his neck it a miracle he had survived such
a wound. His face bore countless smaller scars, crisscrossing his skin like a grim tapestry.
A palpable aura of menace radiated from him, leaving no doubt as to why he was the feared first officer of the Carnage Cruise.
