Ma'am, The World Is Waiting For Your Divorce

Chapter 25

Chapter 25

Chapter 25 Impatience filled Skyler as everyone stared at him. He tore off the plaster straight away.

However, not only did everyone stare at him even more blatantly, but they even started gossiping among each other.

Perhaps they were not gossiping about Skyler, but in his eyes, they were discussing where he got his wound from. He then recalled everything that had happened in the morning once again.

Rage surged within Skyler as he announced the conclusions of the meeting grumpily. He told everyone that the meeting was adjourned and left the room.

Not long after the meeting, Yale looked for Skyler and said, “President Moore, Jocelyn…”

Skyler interrupted him coldly before he could finish his sentence. “Don’t tell me anything about Jocelyn White today. I don’t want to hear anything related to her today, got it?”

Yale was stunned. He looked at the unpleasant expression on Skyler’s face. He had no choice but to nod and leave the room.

When it was time for lunch in the afternoon, Jocelyn suddenly noticed that everyone was

stealing glances at her.

She felt slightly confused, but she did not take the initiative to ask them what was going on.

She then received a call from Lexie. Her voice was cold and full of anger. “Jocelyn, did you see the trends online?”

Jocelyn was slightly confused. “What trends?”

Lexie did not expect Jocelyn to still be oblivious about it. She huffed. “Who else can it be? of course, it’s Lily White, that b*tch! You’ll know after going online!”

Jocelyn hung up on the call in confusion and opened Twitter straight away.

After that, she saw everything that Lexie had mentioned. She finally realized why everyone was stealing glances at her.

Lily was trending online. To be more accurate, Lily and Jocelyn were trending online. There were four hashtags on the trending list.

#LilyComitted suicide #LilyWhiteAndJocelyn WhiteAreBiologicalSisters Belonging © NôvelDram/a.Org.

#Ruthless Jocelyn White

#StayStrongLily Jocelyn clicked into the hashtag regarding Lily’s suicide. She then saw a video of a reporter interviewing Lily.

The background of the video was a hospital. Lily was looking at the camera with a pale face. The cameraman zoomed in on her wrist.

Her thin wrist was wrapped in a bandage. It seemed to be soaked with blood.

The reporter looked at Lily and asked, “Miss White, may I know why you decided to commit suicide? You simply plagiarized someone’s work. Everyone does something wrong in their lives at least once.”

After hearing the reporter’s question, Jocelyn instantly understood what was going on. Lily had hired this reporter to act the entire thing out with her. Actual reporters would never be so gentle!

Lily looked at the camera weakly. She avoided making eye contact with the camera. “I…That wasn’t the only reason…”

The reporter slowly cued her. “What’s the reason then? Don’t be afraid that tell us the truth boldly. Everyone will help you!”

Lily sniffled sadly and said, “I don’t know why everything turned out this way… You might not know that Jocelyn White is my biological sister!” The reporter stared at Lily in shock. “Oh, you’re sisters!”

Lily’s eyes were red-rimmed as she reached out to wipe at her teary eyes. She’s my biological sister. I always knew that she was together with Howard Jung, but after that, Howard told me that he was just putting on a show with my sister. They were acting as a couple outside just for the benefit of Oasis Jewelry. At first, I didn’t believe it!” Lily’s voice grew whiny as she spoke, “However, he started treating me better. He doesn’t have a good relationship with my sister in private. Therefore, I foolishly believed in his words. He gave me all the work that I submitted in the competitions. I didn’t even know that they belonged to my sister. He told me that he loved me and wanted me to rise to fame. If I wanted to be with him, I had to make a name for myself in the jewelry industry and become a great designer to help him out. Although I objected against his plans, I finally agreed to his requests and submitted these design drafts to join all those competitions!”

Lily seemed even more upset now. More tears seemed to be falling from her eyes. She hiccupped while she cried and said, “I only knew that my sister was the one who drew all the design drafts after we got our marriage certificate. We were already husband and wife. He wanted me to help him one last time. After getting the grand prize of Century Jewelry Competition, he would stop forcing me to do so. Therefore, I still used my sister’s design to join the competition although I knew that it belonged to her this time around!”

Lily cried sorrowfully in front of the cameras. The reporter handed her a tissue.

Lily wiped her tears while she said, “The moment the incident happened, I was completely stunned. Howard Jung said that he would protect my reputation for the sake of Oasis Jewelry. Although I objected

to his idea, he still used my name to ask the company’s lawyer for help. He sued my sister. After that, my sister attacked him in return. Finally, all the netizens online started hating on me. I don’t know what I should do anymore!” Lily covered her face with both of her hands and raised her head. Her eyes were extremely swollen. “I know that it’s my fault. I shouldn’t have agreed to Howard’s request and used my sister’s design draft to join the competition although I knew that it belonged to her. I can apologize to my sister and ask for her forgiveness!”

Liiy looked straight into the camera. She looked immensely pitiful. “However, my sister won’t give me a chance at all. She isn’t willing to forgive me. She won’t pick up my call or reply to my texts either!”
