Chapter10- WORDS, ANGEL!
"I sensed the clashing of swords of thoughts in your mind, Little bird." Aztec pulled her out of her reverie. She looked up at his tanned smooth skin, his rugged face could only scream that he was the loyal beta of his king. Though he was handsome.
She scrunched her nose at his other name for her and was about to retort when his demeanor suddenly changed as he looked behind her. Allison frowned when his eyes darkened with worry and apprehension.
"I guess, My time is over but it was a pleasure meeting you, Queen." He said in a rush before stepping back and leaving but not before kissing her knuckles with a bow.
"What are you...." Allison was asking but She heard a deep growl and abruptly was knocked into a hard yet warm reverberating chest. She watched Aztec walk away as She heard another possessive growl and the hair on the back of Allison's body rouse up in fear. She knew who it was. She gulped the thick saliva formed in her throat and tried to withdraw but Lyceon was fast enough. Her chest heaved up and down rapidly, she didn't dare to turn and look at him which was not accepted by him.
He turned her around in a snap and lifted her up slightly, suddenly picking up the moves with the playing tune. Allison gasped looking at the familiar face of Him. Every time she looked at his sense-numbing face, mixed feelings crept into her heart. He was just not an ordinary one who jumped into her life. She felt like she knew him for ages.
He pulled her close to him, even in her heels and slightly lifted by him, she hardly reached up to his chest. Her nose hit into his chest where his heart was thumping. Allison wrinkled her nose feeling the pain, she wondered just how muscular and hard He was. She wanted to curse him, scream at him for turning her life upside down but was silent because of the fear of dying in his hands brutally.
On the other hand, Lyceon was amused by her little antics seeing how she was trying to run away from him, shaking in fear and trying to not move perfectly with his leads. But Who can mess with him? He could just curl her around like a doll. She was so tiny in his arms that all He could wish was to hide her in his cloak from the world.
"You are beautiful, Angel!" For the first time He spoke gently to her. Allison's heart dropped in her stomach by the same endearment. She didn't want to hear it. She wanted to wake up from this ugly nightmare. How she wished it was a nightmare just like last time. But alas! All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.
"I see, you were being friendly with my Beta!" Lyceon asked her and Allison stiffened in his hold. She didn't want another death on her head. Aztec was just being frank and kind and he tried to lighten her mood. In fact She preferred dancing with him instead of shaking in the arms of the man who held her like a precious possession.
She didn't want him to hurt anyone because of her. But the question is would He kill his own Beta?
"Don't get too close to him, you won't like the consequences!" He curtly instructed her, examining her expressions. Allison's breathing turned heavy. No, she can't show her weakness to him if she wants to survive in his cage. Allison forced herself to calm down and looked around to see a few people were looking at her with disgust, hatred and jealousy. One of them was Scarlett. They might have been thinking low about her. She had become the killer and a laughing stock in their eyes. A deep regret seeped into her heart and she cursed the man who was responsible for all of this and forced her into everything. She clenched her jaws thinking how her life changed in the past few days. Lyceon ticked his jaw at her lack of response. His hand on her back travelled up to her nape, startling and fearing her. He grabbed her face up to gain her attention.
"Next time, I notice your attention wavering from me when I'm with you, you will be punished, Angel." He said with his smooth velvety tone but Allison could tell the truth behind his perfect face and slick voice. He was a beast disguised in an enchanting appearance.
She looked into his eyes which flashed white and her body numbed with familiar fear.
"You understood?" He asked, caressing the soft skin of her cheek while looking deeply into her gorgeous eyes. They were more radiant than the polished emerald. They became his favourite as soon as He set his eyes on her. Allison nodded before swallowing her saliva.
"Words, Angel!" He demanded.
"Yes!" She whispered before lowering her eyes. Lyceon smiled in satisfaction and hugged her to his body to his content before swaying her around.
Allison felt herself drowning onto his intoxicating scent and aura. All she wanted was to get away from this man but it seemed like she lingered unwantedly to His existence like she was made for it. His proximity was another thing that was throwing her into the turmoil of distinct emotions.

"After this Alpha ball, you are coming with me to my place. Don't forget to say goodbye to your closed ones." He stated and like a flashlight, She whipped her head up before looking at him with watery eyes.
Closed one? He had already destroyed her family. No one was there for her except her friends. She wanted to cry and scream at him.
