Eva was stunned for a moment when she saw the candles, and when Nathan said so, Eva suddenly Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.
became embarrassed.
"Shut up." Caleb said in a deep voice.
Nathan finally noticed Caleb's difference and was instantly quiet in order to save his life.
Caleb had planned to be romantic, but it was inconvenient to take William if they went out to eat, so he
set it directly at home, but he never expect that Nathan would come over suddenly and disrupt his
plans.
Eva looked at Caleb's face and inexplicably wanted to laugh.
"Hahahahaha." Eventually unable to hold it in, she laughed slapping the table.
"Hahahaha." Nathan laughed along with her.
William also grinned at that.
Caleb was confused by the three, but he didn't want scold her, though she took the lead.
After laughing, Eva ate her meal and put William to sleep before returned to her room.
She flipped through the script for a while, getting ready to go to bed, and when she went to take a bath,
she found a blue rose on top of her bath towel.
Eva gave a smile. She did not see that the cold president would do such an old-fashioned thing.
He was kinda cute...
Eva put the rose away in a good mood, found a delicate vase to put it in and placed it on the desk, and
when her eyes swept over, she couldn't help but smile.
That didn't seem like a bad feeling.
Every day since then, Eva would find a flower in various corners of the room, sometimes a rose,
sometimes a mandolin flower, and occasionally her favorite hydrangea.
Every day was full of surprises.
This morning, Eva did not have to go to the set very early, and when she went downstairs, she received
a bouquet of baby's-breath at the door.
She took a picture of the bouquet and posted it on Twitter with the caption, Stars in the eyes.
As she sat down at the table to prepare for breakfast, William ran past Caleb on his short legs, tugging
tightly at Eva's clothes and not letting go.
"Liam, be good, we have to go see Dr. Bexley's today." Caleb was only so patient when it came to
William.
"Is Liam going to see Dr. Bexley today?" Eva was holding a glass of milk with milk stick at the corner of
her mouth, looking at Caleb with a dumbfounded expression.
Caleb's eyes darkened imperceptibly as he stared at Eva's bright red lips.
"Yeah." Caleb said, his voice muffled, not quite the same as usual.
Eva didn't notice the difference, but stretched out her tongue to lick the milk on her lips.
William hid behind Eva without showing his head.
"Liam, come here." Caleb said in a low voice.
William shook her head timidly, very resistant to going to Graham.
William and Caleb were thus at a standstill, and Eva could only stand between the two, reconciling the
atmosphere.
However, this time Eva's words also failed, and William just wouldn't agree to go to Caleb.
"How about I go with you?" Eva bent down to be at eye level with William and asked him in a soft voice.
William hesitated before he nodded gently.
"Then, Mr. Livingstone, I'll go with you, I don't have to go to the set in the morning, I can be there at
three in the afternoon." Eva explained.
"Okay."
Eva hurriedly drank the last bit of milk, put down the cup and was ready to go.
"Wait." Caleb walked to Eva, raising his hand and lowering his head.
"What..." Before Eva could finish her sentence, Caleb's hand was already on her red lips.
Caleb's fingers gently ran over her soft lips.
Eva's face instantly turned red and she stammered, "Mr. Livingstone... what, what are you doing?"
"Bread crumbs." Caleb withdrew his fingers with a self-effacing expression and gently wiped his own
fingers with his handkerchief.
Only he knew that when he touched Eva's lips, the soft feeling made his whole body stiff.
As the two men looked at each other, William suddenly pulled Eva's shirt harder, putting distance
between them.
Eva turned her head and stopped staring at Caleb's starry eyes, coughing lightly to ease her
embarrassment.
"Let's go." Caleb said as if nothing was wrong.
"Okay."
It was only nine o'clock when they arrived at Graham's office.
Graham's psychological consultation room was not in an office building, but in a small courtyard with a
very beautiful environment, a small detached villa with full of flowers and plants of all colors in the
courtyard. Even now it was close to the late autumn, there were still many flowers blossom, so the
whole courtyard was fragrant.
"Hello." The receptionist greeted the three very politely.
The receptionist had been working there for three years. William had come over every weekend for the
past two years, and Caleb had accompanied William every time, so the receptionist was already
familiar with them. But she was surprised to see William letting a stranger hold him in her arms.
"Hello, we come to see Dr. Bexley." Eva said gently.
"This way, please." The receptionist nodded to Eva with a smile, her questioning gaze looking towards
Caleb, and only after seeing Caleb nod did she lead Eva to Graham's office.
"Dr. Bexley has explained that if it is Liam who is here, he should go in by himself first." The
receptionist relayed politely.
"Okay, thank you."
"You're welcome." The receptionist guided Caleb and Eva to a lounge, where there was a huge LED
display that allowed them to see what William was doing in the next room.
Before she left, she complimented Eva, "This lady is very beautiful, you must be Liam's mother. You
look very much like him."
Eva explained, "No, I am not."
"I'm sorry, but Liam and you are very intimate, sorry for the misunderstanding." The receptionist said
apologetically.
Eva waved her hand, indicating that it was okay, after which she concentrated on the LED screen.
Graham just gave William some tests in a moderate manner and chatted with him.
When he had just entered, William was quite well behaved. Eva was concentrating on William's
reaction, while Caleb was staring at Eva.
With her arched eyebrows, long eyelashes that look like a small fan when she dropped her eyes, fair
skin and slightly pouting lips, her beauty was somewhat stirring.
William suddenly started howling and was not cooperating with Graham's movements.
Eva instantly couldn't sit still, seeing that William was crying, she felt heartbroken, stood up and was
ready to rush to next door.
"Sit down." Caleb took Eva's arm and pulled her to his side.
Eva looked at Caleb's still bland expression and was somewhat incredulous, "Mr. Livingstone, that's
your son. Could you bear to see this?"
"I can't, but he has to go through this step." A bitter smile tugged at the corner of Caleb's mouth.
He felt sorry for William. But if William wanted to speak, he had to go through this hurdle.
