Love’ss 81
Chapter 81
Madelyn was still sleepy when she got into Carrie’s car. Although Carrie was anxious, she still wanted to tease her friend. “It seems like you had a tiring time last night.”
“Shut up.”
“All right. I shan’t annoy you, since I need your help.”
Madelyn’s sleepiness dissipated a little. “What do you need my help with?”
Earlier on the phone, Carrie mentioned needing Madelyn’s help with something.
As Carrie drove, she explained the current situation at the company to Madelyn. It turned out that all the computers in the company had been hacked since last night.
Despite Jackson’s efforts to engage the top programming experts in Klago City, the problem hadn’t been resolved. Their opponent was clearly well–prepared this time.
If the system continued to be hacked, who knew what kind of chaos could ensue?
“Hacked?” Madelyn asked.
Carrie nodded with a grave expression. “They’re quite skilled. They’ve been constahtly blocking our recovery efforts.”
Madelyn furrowed her brow, pondering silently.
Apart from the entertainment news, Jackson had the entire

Sinclair family, backing him. For the past two years, the battle for inheritance rights within the Sinclair family intensified.
At this moment, it was unclear whether the attacker was an outsider who had a grudge against Jackson, or if there were internal factions within the Sinclair family causing trouble.
Soon, they arrived at the company. Madelyn gazed up at the towering office building. “Weren’t we supposed to grab breakfast first?”
“Maddie, this is an urgent matter. Once it’s resolved, I’ll treat you to a lavish meal.”
Madelyn rolled her eyes inwardly. What a liar!
As they walked a quarter–mile in, they could sense the atmosphere was tense. All the staff looked anxious and busy.
Carrie led Madelyn directly to the control room, where Jackson was also present.
When Jackson saw Madelyn with Carrie, he was caught by surprise. The programming experts in the control room. appeared annoyed when they saw a young woman.
“Is this the expert you found, Ms. Silva?” Jackson was evidently dissatisfied with Carrie’s decision to seek a young lady’s help.
Just before Carrie left, she had mentioned bringing in
someone to help. They had thought she would be bringing an
expert.
Jackson recognized Madelyn and remembered she had
majored in design during college. There was clearly a skill
mismatch.
He shot Carrie a cold glance and said, “You should take Ms. Garcia to the lounge.”
Carrie stepped forward and replied, “Let Maddie have a try. She can do it.”
One of the managers in the control room, Ted Flech, said. irritably, “Ms. Silva, it’s not that we don’t believe you, but we’re dealing with a crisis here!”
“Do you think I’m untrustworthy? It’s been over ten hours since this started. If you’re so good, why haven’t you fixed it yet?” Carrie retorted with a stern expression.
Ted, visibly embarrassed, looked to Jackson for support.
Seeing Carrie’s temper rising, Madelyn gently pulled her friend’s hand and stepped forward. “Mr. Sinclair, just give me ten minutes.”
Ten minutes? The programmers in the room exchanged skeptical looks, clearly thinking she was overconfident. Please check at N/ôvel(D)rama.Org.
They had been working all night without success, and now she was claiming she could solve it in ten minutes.
Seeing Jackson’s lack of response, Carrie snapped, “It’s only ten more minutes.”
Jackson looked at Carrie in displeasure, but he stepped aside. Go ahead, Ms. Garcia.” After all, it was just ten minutes.
Jackson’s tone was polite but with a clear undertone of doubt. Madelyn didn’t mind their attitude as she knew Jackson and

the rest knew who she was.
Anyone who knew of Madelyn’s past with Easton would look down on her. They all saw her as nothing more than a spoiled rich girl and someone who couldn’t possibly contribute
anything useful.
Ted and the rest didn’t dare to disobey Jackson’s instruction. Hence, they made way for Madelyn.
Ignoring their disdain, Madelyn approached the computer and began typing rapidly. She skillfully navigated the system, but soon, the intruder blocked her, forcefully logging her out.
Upon seeing Madelyn’s frowning, Carrie stepped forward and asked, “How’s it going?”
“The intruder has blocked my access to the main control zone.
