Chapter 133 – I almost killed Lily with lilies.

I decided to make Lily happy by doing something really special for her. I was really happy when Jarod told me that flowers were okay.

I got into my car and I drove off to a flower shop to get many flowers for her.

Apart from getting flowers, I was planning on getting other things for her too, like some jewelleries for her. The image of her smiling appeared in my head and I smiled to myself too, knowing that I was about to make my lily really happy.

When I got to the shop, I was greeted by a middle-aged woman and I returned her greetings enthusiastically. I started walking around the shop to find the perfect flowers for my lily.

I was just walking around when my eyes caught some flowers that were positioned at the end of that section. I went to see the flowers and I saw that they were lilies. I bent down to smell them and they smelled even better than they looked.

I smiled to myself and I picked the flowers instantly. The lilies looked perfect for lily. I paid for the flowers and I entered my car immediately.

When I got in, I placed the flowers on the front seat and I started the car.

I was going to her house to drop it, when an idea popped into my head. Instead of taking a bunch of flowers to her, I could just order a truckload of the flowers. I turned my car around and u went back to the shop to buy ninety percent of the lilies there and I went out immediately.

I told the woman that I needed to buy more things, so I went to a jewellery store to buy so much jewellery for her. I got the most expensive jewelleries and I went back to the flower shop.

The jewelleries and the flowers were sent to lily and I went to my house to wait for lily’s reply. I was really anxious to know what she felt about the gifts and I kept on pacing around my room, while waiting for a call or a text from her.

Hours passed and I still hadn’t gotten a text. I suddenly got a call from the truck driver that u sent to deliver the gifts to her and u picked the call with a confused look on my face.

The truck driver told me that the gifts, especially the flowers, were sent back and he was waiting for me outside my house.

I was really surprised that lily sent the gifts back and I decided to go to her house, to find out about why she did that.

I was really angry and I told the truck driver to go with the flowers. I wasn’t interested in taking the flowers back because I sent them to lily.

When I got to Lily’s house, I got out of my car and I went to her door. I knocked and I waited for an answer.

Lily’s grandmother was the one that opened the door and she didn’t look happy to see me. She reluctantly invited me in and I went inside.

When I was inside, I used my eyes to scan around the living room to see if lily was around and I saw that she wasn’t around.

I asked granny about lily and her face fell immediately.

“When you brought the flowers, we all went out to see them and in the process, lily passed out because of her allergy.”

Lily is allergic to flowers? I didn’t know that.

I started feeling really guilty and I didn’t know what to do and how to apologise to the granny.

“Because of your carelessness, Lily is in the hospital fighting for her life. You did that to her! You did.” Grabby suddenly said to me and I wasn’t taken aback by that because I knew that I deserved every form of insult directed to me.

“I’m sorry, granny. I’m sorry. Do you know the hospital that she was taken to?” I asked granny with the hope of her telling me where she was.

She sighed and she blinked at me repeatedly before telling me the name of the hospital.

I instantly stood up and left, but not before apologising to granny again. My car speed was really high, but I didn’t care about the cops or anything. The most important thing to me at that moment was getting to Lily and holding her hands.

When I got to the hospital, I asked the receptionist where Lily was and I was directed to a ward. I ran to the ward and when u opened the door, I saw Jarod sitting in front of lily and he was holding her hand too.

I closed the door and went inside. When I got inside, Jarod came to me and he gripped my collar in his hands. He pushed me to a wall and he started accusing me of almost killing lily. He was really angry and I was trying to calm him down, but he wasn’t ready to even listen to me.

“I didn’t know that she was allergic to lilies, Jarod.” I said to him while trying to catch my breath.

“What?! You’re not being serious, are you?” He glared at me like I was crazy.

He told me that he didn’t know that I was that stupid and I couldn’t do anything about it.

I started arguing about him that I meant well and it was a romantic gesture on my part. We continued arguing and I heard groaning from Lily’s side.

I went over to her and I saw that she was already awake and j was about to blame Jarod for waking her, when he started dragging me outside, but I tried fighting him back because I didn’t want to leave lily alone. He told me that he wanted Lily to rest, but I told him that I wasn’t there to cause trouble.

He tried dragging me out again, but he was stopped by lily. She told him that it was okay and I could stay.

When that happened and I looked into her eyes, I started feeling guilty about what I did, that I caused the woman that I really love pain.

She blinked at me and she touched my hand.
