Chapter 975: Coming to Apologize
After Sandy finished speaking, Aaron got up and said, "I won't disturb you any longer. Let's have dinner
sometime when you're free."
Sandy also stood up and replied, "No need for dinner. We haven't reached the point where we dine
together privately."
Aaron nodded, "Alright then, I'll take my leave."
Sandy said, "Goodbye."
As Aaron left, Jones entered the room. "What did he say?"
"He came to apologize," Sandy replied calmly.
Jones raised an eyebrow, "He actually came to apologize? Is he okay in the head?"
As Jones finished speaking, there was a knock on the door.
Jones was taken aback and turned to look at the door. When she saw Belle standing there, she
immediately furrowed her brows.
"Why is she here too?" Jones asked Sandy.
Sandy looked at Belle standing at the door and said softly, "Maybe she also came to apologize."
Jones looked puzzled, "She came to apologize too?"
Sandy didn't respond to Jones and instead looked at Belle. "Come in."
Belle stepped into the room and glanced at Jones sitting nearby. Then, she looked at Sandy and said,
"I have something I want to talk to you about privately."
Upon hearing Belle's words, Sandy glanced at Jones and whispered, "Jones, you can go about your
business. I'll talk to Miss Austi."
Jones looked at Sandy's face for a moment and nodded, "Alright, you two talk. I'll come back later."
With that, Jones got up, greeted Belle, and then left the room.
After Jones left, Sandy turned her gaze to Belle. "Have a seat, don't stand."
Belle approached and sat down on the nearby couch. "I came to see you about those posts you
mentioned earlier."
Hearing this, Sandy immediately asked, "Are you here to apologize like Aaron?"
Belle was surprised to hear that Aaron had come to apologize as well. It seemed that Anthony had also
put pressure on him. Otherwise, Aaron's personality wouldn't have allowed him to apologize.
"If I say it's just a coincidence, would you believe me?" Belle asked Sandy.
Sandy smiled, "If it's a coincidence, then you wouldn't have coincidentally come here to apologize,
right?"
Upon hearing Sandy's words, Belle smiled back and said, "Since you've guessed it, I won't beat around
the bush. I am here to apologize. I participated in some of the things that happened to you before and
even added fuel to the fire. That's why I came here today to apologize to you."
Listening to Belle's words, Sandy chuckled lightly. "I actually knew about it a long time ago, but those
things didn't really affect me."
Belle looked at Sandy, "You... you're different from what I knew."
"If you're talking about the image you had in mind, I might be exactly as you've imagined. When I was
at Simsang Entertainment, there were probably over a hundred rumors about me."
"What about those rumors..."
"Those rumors might all be true, and what you heard is also true. After all, everyone has many sides.
What you see, no matter what kind of side it is, it's all me."
Belle looked at Sandy and suddenly felt like a clown desperately performing to gain attention, only to
end up in failure.
"Miss Austi, whether it's your apology or Aaron's apology, I accept both," Sandy calmly said to Belle. "I
am now an artist under Gotrend Entertainment and have no connection with Simsang Entertainment
anymore. So, if we meet again in the future, it will naturally be a competitive relationship. Compared to
Simsang Entertainment, our competition will be even fiercer. I hope that when we compete, we can do
so openly and fairly." Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.
Belle nodded gently, "Sure, let's compete openly and fairly in the future."
After responding, Belle looked at Sandy intently and asked seriously, "Can I ask you a question?"
Sandy nodded, "Go ahead, ask."
"What exactly is your relationship with my brother?" Belle asked Sandy with a serious expression.
"You mean Anthony?" Sandy confirmed.
Belle nodded.
Sandy smiled and replied, "To be honest, I can't even be considered friends with your brother. But now,
we can be considered friends."
"Just friends?" Belle asked.
"Otherwise, what do you think our relationship is?" Sandy chuckled.
Belle smiled back, "You might not fully understand my brother. He seems approachable on the surface,
but it's only superficial. When he's with our family, he always knows how to handle things and keeps
everything under control. He sets clear boundaries and doesn't muddy the waters."
"So?" Sandy asked, "What are you trying to say?"
Belle whispered, "I'm just very curious about why he's so concerned about you. Since Aaron came to
see you, you must know the reason he came, right?"
"As I said, it's because Anthony asked him to come and apologize," Sandy replied.
Belle nodded, "That's right. He not only went to see Aaron but also came to see me. He warned us not
to mess with you anymore, or else we wouldn't be able to stay in this industry. This is the first time he's
warned us so sternly. Even though you already have someone you like, and you might even get
married soon, he seems not to care at all and still wants to protect you."
Hearing Belle's words, Sandy didn't know what to say for a moment.
She didn't expect Anthony to take such action.
She didn't expect him to approach Aaron and Belle, asking them to personally apologize to her.
"Miss Austi, I've received your apologies, and I understand your intentions in coming to see me. So,
rest assured, I will call Anthony and clarify the situation," Sandy finally responded.
Belle nodded, "Thank you, Miss Thompson. You must be busy later, so I won't disturb you any longer."
