I Am Unstoppable

Chapter 511 Balanced Duality Mantra

Chapter 511 Balanced Duality Mantra

That day, Jonathan spent all his time cultivating chaotic energy. He did not have any specific plans at the moment. His only thought was about figuring out something to search for powerful magic items after helping Rhiannon with her matters tomorrow.

Or perhaps there's no need for me to stay in Pollerton any longer. I'd be better served to make a trip to Paradiso. It's a vast land with abundant resources, so I might be able to find some great magic items there. I didn't dare do so previously since I was with a whole bunch of people, but I'm now alone. Besides, I'm armed with the Polychromatic Mirror. There's nothing to fear.

Jonathan knew deep within that it was imperative for him to become stronger if he wanted to save Torrence and the others.

Only when I'm powerful would Theos Lynn be apprehensive. And the more she fears me, the safer Torrence, Yeverie, and the others would be.

Jonathan knew all too well that there was no way he could rescue Yeverie and the others from Lynn's hands with his current capabilities. Even if he managed to save them, he would not be able to protect them.

The night passed peacefully.

The next day, the weather remained bright and sunny.

Jonathan continued cultivating, his cultivation advancing at an astounding speed. Chaotic energy was all-encompassing.

Ordinary Magicians typically cultivated using high-quality magic gems, drawing upon the elemental energy within. However, Jonathan did not need to do that. For that reason, his progress was incredibly fast.

Of course, powerful fighters like Lynn and Narma were long since free from the dependence on gems. Like Jonathan, they could draw the energy they needed directly from the air to strengthen their divine spirits.

Even Rhiannon had minimal reliance on gems.

Seeing it was about to be evening, Jonathan turned to Rhiannon, who had been meditating, and said, "It's already the third day. What exactly do you need my help with? Can you reveal it now?"

Rhiannon opened her eyes and uttered, "Keep in mind what you promised me previously."

"Huh? What did I promise you?" Unbidden, Jonathan's heart jolted.

Rhiannon countered, "Didn't you promise back then that if we find Pollerton Tomb, I get the first pick of the magic items in there? Have you forgotten?"

"Holy smoke!" Jonathan's heart started pounding in his chest, and his words were jumbled in his excitement. "What are you implying? Do you mean to say you know where Pollerton Tomb is?"

It felt like having someone handing him a pillow just when sleepiness assailed him or having obtained a sudden windfall of five million. Accurately speaking, it felt more like hitting a billion-dollar jackpot.

Rhiannon flashed him a smile. Then, her expression turned serious. "Jonathan, I purposely waited

these three days to observe your character. After all, the matter of Pollerton Tomb is of great importance. I initially had high hopes for Jake, but I found him untrustworthy after observing him for some time. Unexpectedly, he eventually lost his patience and actually stole from me."

"What exactly is going on here?" Jonathan asked, trying his best to contain his excitement.

Rhiannon revealed, "Pollerton Tomb is hidden within an enchantment in the Dead Sea, and the Moon Shadow Palace has always been guarding this secret."

Jonathan asked, "Since you've always known about this secret, why haven't you gone in yet? What other conditions still need to be met?"

Rhiannon said, "A magical weapon is required to unlock Pollerton Tomb's enchantment. That magical weapon is also our treasure, and it's this very item. It's known as the Crown of Duality!"

At that point, Rhiannon took out an item and held it out to Jonathan.

Jonathan cast his gaze on it. It was something resembling an hourglass, yet it wasn't an hourglass. Moreover, the top was black, but the bottom was white, making for a stark contrast.

"This is the key to unlock Pollerton Tomb's enchantment?" Jonathan asked in surprise. Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.

Rhiannon answered, "The key is inside. Even if Jake managed to steal this Crown of Duality, he wouldn't have been able to open it. And even if he did succeed in opening it, he wouldn't know where Pollerton Tomb's enchantment is."

Jonathan remarked, "The location of Pollerton Tomb is really hidden, catching one off guard!"

Rhiannon said, "Of course. Pollerton Tomb is a place many people yearn for deep within. Even a fool could rule supreme if he were to obtain it. If such a place were easy to find, we would never have a chance at it."

Jonathan's excitement gradually faded, for he was a man who could keep his cool. "You haven't answered me why you waited until now. Why didn't you go to Pollerton Tomb earlier?" he pressed.

Rhiannon replied, "Firstly, to activate the Crown of Duality, Moon Shadow Palace's ultimate technique is needed. It's known as Balanced Duality Mantra. We must cultivate it to Level Nine. However, no palace leader of Moon Shadow Palace has ever managed to accomplish that."

Jonathan said, "So, it seems you've cultivated it to Level Nine?"

Rhiannon shook her head and admitted, "I haven't cultivated it to Level Nine either."

Jonathan was taken aback for a moment. He prompted, "Then?"

Rhiannon's face turned a rare shade of red, and she said solemnly, "But I've already figured out how to cultivate it to Level Nine."

Jonathan's heart inexplicably skipped a beat. He was an exceptionally smart person. Moreover, he noticed that Rhiannon's demeanor was unusually coy when she was the type of person with a strong aura and nothing much that could make her shy.

Jonathan immediately said, "Balanced Duality Mantra implies positive and negative energy. As the

saying goes, the lack of either one would result in nothingness. Could it be that the breakthrough to the final level requires the dual cultivation between men and women?"

Rhiannon looked at Jonathan in surprise. She could not help but say, "Are you too despicable, or are you just too clever?"

Jonathan cleared his throat, but inwardly, he jumped for joy. Whoa! I never expected to have such good fortune!

However, he quickly concealed his joy and countered earnestly, "What are you talking about? It's naturally the latter. Everything surrounding us is made up of two opposite forces that harmoniously unify. How could I possibly not understand this principle?"

Rhiannon replied, "That's right. When two opposite forces come together, its union of positive and negative energy can give birth to new life. It's the most mysterious energy! To cultivate Balanced Duality Mantra to the Level Nine, dual cultivation is indeed required." She paused, then added, "But don't get the wrong idea. This dual cultivation is the cultivation of the flesh but the cultivation of the spirit."

"Huh?" Jonathan was instantly stumped. He wondered, "What on earth is the cultivation of the spirit?"

Rhiannon was somewhat puzzled by Jonathan's modern language, but she could roughly guess what he meant. She explained, "The cultivation of the flesh is inferior. The cultivation of the spirit, on the other hand, is the communication between souls, and this is the true superior art!"

Jonathan exclaimed, "I see!"

"You seem quite disappointed. Don't tell me you were thinking about something indecent just now?" Rhiannon questioned, eyeing Jonathan suspiciously.

"No!" Jonathan denied. "I weren't thinking about anything indecent."

Rhiannon chuckled, her laughter instantly rendering her all the more alluring. She said, "All right, enough chit-chat. Now, I'll teach you how the cultivation of the spirit works."

"Wait a moment," Jonathan blurted.

Pausing slightly, Rhiannon asked, "Why, you still have questions?"

Jonathan said, "You really trust me? You've shared such an important secret with me. You didn't have to mention the matter of the Pollerton Tomb. You could have just asked me to help you break through the Level Nine of the Balanced Duality Mantra."

Rhiannon smiled slightly, divulging, "Jake was someone Esmeray and the others found. That young man is quite cunning. His acting was exceedingly good in the beginning. But I never trusted him. That was why he took such a risk. Speaking of which, we observed him for three years."

"But we've only known each other for three days. Yet, you trust me this much?" Jonathan was somewhat touched by that.

Rhiannon said, "I trust my instincts."

A grin spread across Jonathan's face as a surge of happiness imbued him. He asserted, "Thank you for your trust. Because of this alone, I can't let you down."

"If you have no further questions, let's get started," urged Rhiannon.

Jonathan agreed, "Sure!"

Something suddenly occurred to Rhiannon, and she queried, "Aren't you afraid that I'll leave you behind and go in search of Pollerton Tomb on my own after I break through Level Nine of the Balanced Duality Mantra?"

Jonathan was slightly taken aback. Then, he said, "If I get it, I'm lucky. But if I lose it, it's my destiny. It's a windfall in the first place. If I lose it, it just means I'm not fortunate enough. What should I be afraid of? Besides, I agreed to help you long ago, and we didn't make a deal about retrieving magic items from Pollerton Tomb back then."

A smile curved Rhiannon's lips. "You're the most unique man I've ever met," she commented.

With a chuckle, Jonathan drawled, "Have you met many men?"

Rhiannon rolled her eyes at him and declared, "Let's get started! From now on, we'll communicate through our spiritual sense!"

"Okay!" Jonathan replied.

Subsequently, Jonathan expelled chaotic energy.

Rhiannon also expelled the energy of the essence of the water elements from her divine spirit.

The two forces instantly merged into one.

That moment was a truly marvelous sensation. It was as though Jonathan and Rhiannon were connected through some mystical bond, their cerebral domains intertwined.

"Jonathan, I'm going to circulate Balanced Duality Mantra. Your chaotic energy will merge with my elemental energy. Do you understand?" Rhiannon communicated with Jonathan through her spiritual sense.

"Understood!" Jonathan responded.

Subsequently, Rhiannon began to circulate her energy. Jonathan saw her water elemental energy slowly starting to rotate in the air. Gradually, it formed into a pool of transparent liquid.

The liquid integrated Jonathan's chaotic energy into itself. Jonathan offered no resistance, and the transparent liquid swirled like stirred coffee, eventually forming a vortex.

His chaotic energy had merged with the water elemental energy completely.

Finally, the force surged back into Jonathan's cerebral domain.

Jonathan did not repel it.

Communicating through her spiritual sense, Rhiannon remarked, "Your chaotic energy is incredibly profound, saving me a lot of effort. Previously, Esmeray and the others were attracted to Jake's constitution. Jake actually cultivates fire elements. If he and I were to have dual cultivation, it would've been very strenuous for me. However, it would also greatly assist me in merging the positive and

negative energy together, breaking through Level Nine of the Balanced Duality Mantra!"

Jonathan could not help but lament, "How could you bear to cultivate with someone as repulsive as him?"

That comment carried a hint of envy.

Unbidden, Rhiannon chortled and retorted, "I never agreed to it from start to finish."

At that, Jonathan chuckled.

"Next, I'll use your body as a vessel to complete the fusion of the positive and negative energy. All you need to do is relax!" Rhiannon said.

Jonathan assented, "Go ahead. I won't resist."
