Chapter 36 His Girlish Heart
Chapter 36 His Girlish Heart
With a smile, Pearl took the hand of Cassie and said, "It's not comfortable to sit at home, so I take
Cassie to go out for a walk with me."
The shop assistant had packed up the brooch for him. "Mr. Ryan, here you are."
He took the bag and smiled gently, "Thank you."
Ryan looked at Pearl and Cassie again and said, "Then I'm leaving now. Have a good time, grandma
and Cassie."
Pearl nodded. The shop assistant sent Ryan away.
Before they left B.S, Cassie secretly checked the amount of the shopping. Pearl was as good at
shopping as the little girl. She spent 5, 000, 000 on jewelry today. Of course, she got the phone
successfully.
But she was right. Except for Pearl, no one in the mall could spend 5, 000, 000 a day without blinking Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.
an eye. Moreover, the Lu family was very wealthy. Five million might be a lot in the eyes of Cassie, but
it might only be a day's profit in the Lu group or in Huayu.
It was already five o'clock in the afternoon when the shopping was over. Cassie didn't want to go back
to West Mountain Linyu. Because she got angry at the thought of the attitude of Dylan when he talked
to her this morning.
Sitting in Maybach, she said to Pearl, "Grandma, can I go home and have dinner with you today?"
Hearing this, Pearl felt a little strange. They had just gotten married. Shouldn't they be very intimate?
She asked Cassie, "What's wrong?"
Cassie immediately explained with smile, "No, no. Dylan have something to deal with today. I'm bored
eating alone at home, so why don't I accompany grandma. Or grandma doesn't want me to accompany
you? "
Pearl smiled and said, "How could it be? You are willing to have dinner with me. I cannot be happier! "
As night fell, only the driver sent their spoils back to West Mountain Linyu.
After a day's work, Dylan went home and didn't see Cassie. He asked Belle impatiently, "Where is
Cassie?"
Belle was stunned for a while. She looked at Dylan strangely and said, "Mrs. Cassie went to have
dinner with Mrs. Pearl tonight. Didn't she tell you? "
"Got it," said Dylan, nodding.
-
After dinner, Cassie still didn't intend to leave. She walked out of the bathroom. There was a shelf in
the corridor, and her eyes were suddenly attracted by a conspicuous thing on it.
Frowning, Cassie asked Pearl curiously, "Grandma, is this a music box? "
Pearl was watching TV with her presbyopic glasses. Hearing Cassie, she turned her head and smiled,
"Yes, it is Dylan's since his childhood."
Then she walked to the shelf and took it down.
It was a pink music box of three swans. When it was opened, clear and melodious music came out.
Every note seemed to hit people's heart, and the melody was the well-known City of Sky.
She looked at the music box and chuckled, "He is quite girlish."
Pearl smiled, "I don't know, but it seems that Dylan really likes this music box. He had been on
business all year round, so he usually takes only clothes and documents in his luggage. He didn't take
these kind of things. Since you have seen it today, you can take it back to him. "
It was not early. If she didn't go back, Pearl would be suspicious. She nodded and said, "Okay. Thank
you for your hospitality today. I have to go back, or Dylan will be worried about me. "
Pearl nodded and patted her hand, "Okay."
-
Outside the door, Dylan sat in the car and watched Cassie in the car driving in the opposite direction of
West Mountain Linyu. He frowned and ordered the driver, "Follow her."
The car drove all the way to the bustling downtown, and then turned into a somewhat remote and
shabby yard.
Afraid of being discovered, Dylan stopped the car at the intersection.
After getting out of the car, Cassie said to the driver, "Please wait for a moment."
The driver replied respectfully, "Okay, Mrs. Cassie."
"Ah Choo!" Her nose itched and she sneezed.
The driver frowned and asked, "Did you catch a cold?"
Cassie shook her head and said with a smile, "No, I'm in good health."
The driver nodded and didn't ask more.
The dim yellow street light shone into the somewhat remote yard. Cassie knocked the door and s
middle-aged woman opened the door for her.
With a smile, Cassie said, "Director."
The Director was surprised that she would come at this late hour. She asked, "Why do you come so
late?"
She smiled and said, "I agreed to come here once a month. I didn't forget."
It took Cassie nearly an hour to finally walk out of the yard. She suddenly felt that the driver's worry
came true.
Her throat and chin began to feel uncomfortable, and the cold wind at the intersection blew on her
body. Subconsciously, she wrapped herself tightly and quickened her pace towards the intersection.
The more she walked to the intersection, the more dizzy she felt. Cassie shook her head and tried to
wake herself up. There was still some way to get on the car.
In the car, seeing that she finally came out, Dylan gradually felt relief. He looked down at his watch.
The driver suddenly frowned and shouted, "Mr. Dylan. Mrs. Cassie seems to have fainted! "
Hearing that, Dylan was a little flustered and looked out of the window.
Sure enough, that stupid woman fell to the ground!
Dylan quickly got out of the car and carried her into it. Cassie was so cold all over her body, except for
her forehead!
He touched his forehead and tried on Cassie again.
She must have a fever!
The driver stepped on the gas and drove back to West Mountain Linyu immediately as Dylan ordered.
He held her in his arms. After getting out of the car, he immediately ordered Belle, "Belle, prepare a
basin of cold water. Cheryl, go get the medicine!"
The two of them nodded and did as Dylan ordered.
Looking at the unconscious look of Cassie, Carter asked in a hurry, "What's wrong with Mrs. Cassie?"
"What a fool! She doesn't even know she has a fever," Dylan cursed.
Cassie felt her whole body hanging in the air and she was gently put on the bed.
She was in a daze, and everything in front of her turned into mist.
Subconsciously, Cassie grabbed the sleeve of the man in front of her. With patience, Dylan slowly
pulled her hands off his sleeve and put a thermometer under her armpit.
She murmured in a low voice.
Belle had already fetched some water for her. When Dylan put the cold handkerchief on her forehead,
Cheryl handed the medicine to him.
"Mr. Dylan, this is antipyretic."
The white pill was lying in the bottle, and Cassie was so dizzy that she couldn't take it at all. Vexed,
Dylan looked at her pale face and told Belle, "Grind the pills into powder and prepare a glass of milk."
Belle nodded, "Yes, sir."
Carter knocked on the door and Dylan said, "Come in."
He handed a paper bag to Dylan and said, "Sir, Mrs. Cassie left it in the car just now."
