Healing The 84
Healing The 84
Healing The Ruthless Alphal
Sihana’s POV

It seemed dramatic to sneak out of the house in a disguise but I was sick so there was no way anyone in the Alpha Castle would let me go out on my own. If I insisted, they’d involve Cahir. As for the disguise, well, if anyone
saw me buying pregnancy tests, the news of the Luna’s pregnancy would spread within a day.
I snuck out to the nearest pharmacy and picked out three pregnancy tests and then I hurried back home. It took me less than an hour to sneak out and sneak back in but unfortunately, when I got back to the castle, the house was in an uproar.
“Luna!” Irene looked on the verge of tears when she came into my room after I successfully stuffed the tests far back into my closet. “Where were you?” The girl asked. “We’ve all been searching for you. The Alpha is on his way.”
“W–What do you mean?” I said with a fake giggle. “I’ve been here all along,” I said but she shook her head.
“No.” She shook her head harder. “You weren’t. Laura said someone had kidnapped you.” I blinked at her. This it had to be a joke right?
“Who would kidnap me from my home and why?” I laughed but it did not ease the girl.
“We’ve searched everywhere – The door burst open and Cahir came in with a pissed–off expression on his face. Irene and I shifted closer to each other.
“Out.” One word and the girl scampered out, leaving me alone to deal with the full force of Cahir’s wrath.
“Where did you go?” He all but growled the words, his eyes flashing a deep red as he stalked towards me. He came to a stop right before me, the air around him frigid..
“I” I was tempted to say I didn’t go anywhere but I knew that lie wouldn’t fly with him and with the look in his eyes, I didn’t want to aggravate him further. “It’s just that, all this while, I’ve been feeling stifled.” I fingered the collar of my shirt, lowering my head. “I snuck out for a walk. It’s not It’s not like I expected anyone to notice since I wasn’t gone for long. I- I’m sorry for worrying you all.” Did my voice sound wretched enough? This content provided by N(o)velDrama].[Org.
I didn’t even have to try hard to sound wretched. The whole ordeal of agonizing over a child that may or may not be developing in my stomach, and then thinking of the perfect way to sneak out of the Alpha Castle, then buying pregnancy tests with no one recognizing me, all of it compounded to make me feel tired and wretched.
“Sihana Asena.” His voice told me he wasn’t buying it and when I snuck a glance at his face, I noticed his expression remained unchanged.
What to do?
“I felt really stifled being surrounded and doted on all the time and you know how I get when I feel stifled.” The last time I felt stifled, I’d snuck out for a three–day vacation that almost ended my life.
“Sihana.” When he said my name again, he sounded wretched, as if a lump in his throat choked him.
“Cahir, I’m really sorry. I didn’t mean –”

“Do you think I can’t tell when you’re lying to me?” He cut me off. “Since yesterday, you’ve been lying to my face. I’ve tried to give you space, believing you’ll tell me whatever the priestess told you but now.” Before he could finish his tirade, I rushed to the bathroom.
This morning, I could only stomach a simple fruit salad and a cup of tea. It all came up as I vomited into the toilet with a burning throat. Cahir rushed in after me, holding back my hair and patting my back as I threw up. Tears stung my eyes and the acidic vomit but my throat. Goddess, I felt worse than hell.
“Sihana, please,” Cahir said as he carried me back to bed after I rinsed out the disgusting taste of vomit. “Please, don’t do this to me. What’s happening with you?” He begged in a tone choked with emotions. His fingers trembled as he patted my hair and guilt worked its way into my tired heart.
“I’m fine.” Still, I insisted on a lie. “It’ll pass. You’ll see” tried to give him a wide smile but my lips could only form a ghost of a smile.
“I can’t help you if you don’t tell me what’s going on. Do we need to see the doctors again?” I fingered the pendant on my neck.
The high priestess‘ necklace that contained divine energy let off an aura that calmed me but I didn’t expect it to stop the pregnancy symptoms. It should stop me from hurting myself with my wonky
mana and with time, I should be able to get back to my daily life, but I didn’t know how long I would have to wait, I didn’t know how long I would keep lying to Cahir.
No, there’s no need.” I caressed his cheek. We just started getting along and now I was pregnant. Would he hate me if he heard? What if- What if he asked me to get rid of it? My heart stuttered and I touched my
stomach.
“Does it hurt?” Cahir looked at my hand splayed on my stomach. “Did you eat something bad?” He raised my shirt and put his hand on my stomach. My heart stopped, stared back with a stutter and then pourided wildly as he massaged my stomach.
“It–It doesn’t hurt.” I swallowed. “Cahir – I-“I’m pregnant. The words were on the tip of my tongue but I swallowed them.
-Sihana, I am begging you.” His face pleaded with me. “Whatever it is you’re hiding, just tell me.”
“I want to,” I muttered. “But But not now.” Admitting that I was hiding things from him may not be the best idea but it wasn’t as if I wanted to hide. It wasn’t as if I took any pleasure in lying to him but I was scared.
I liked Cahir too much to watch him pull away from me because of a child he didn’t want. Although T wanted to risk it, blurt out the words to him and hope lie changed his mind about having kids, it wasn’t something I was ready to risk.
“You have to be ready soon, Asena grumbled. ‘You can’t hide his child right under his roof.
“Yes. Yes, I know. I – I’ll tell him tomorrow.”
“It’s not good to lie to yourself, my wolf said with a sigh. Can’t we take this risk?”
“It’s not like I can hide forever. I’ll tell him tomorrow but for now–just let me gather my wits about me. I have to be strong for when I face his rejection.
What if he asked me to get rid of it? I touched my stomach yet again and I felt his eyes follow my
movement.

“You’ll tell me when you’re ready?” He asked and I nodded. He had a ferocious look in his eyes, a look that scared me, but I nodded anyway. There wasn’t much I could do. “Alright.” He pressed his lips to my cheek. “Rest, I didn’t complete what I went to the office to do I’ll leave you to sleep.” I nodded along with his words. “I’ll be back before you wake up, belle. Please don’t pull another stunt like that again. There are people who could harm you if you’re unguarded.” I continued to nod.
He placed one last kiss on my eyelid and then he was out of the room. I stayed in bed for five minutes after he left, holding my breath and counting down the seconds. Then I rushed into my closet, grabbed the pregnancy tests and rushed to the bathroom, locking the door.
“Ah.” I stared at the tests in my hands and then I laughed. They were all positive.
