Goddess’s Design His Fated Mate

Chapter 98

Chapter 98

Oran

Leaning against the tree, I endeavored to steady my breathing while my wolf continued to mend my injuries. With my eyes closed, I maintained focus until a tantalizing scent reached my nostrils. Slowly, I opened my eyes, only to discover a brown- gray wolf hurtling toward me at full speed.

“Oran!” Bix shifted into his human form and gently touched my face. My heart raced at the sight of him standing before me. I had been longing for him during my solitude, and now he had found me. “How did you sustain such serious injuries?” His sky–blue eyes reflected panic and concern.

“Why are you here?” I murmured in a daze, half–believing he might be a figment of my imagination.

He frowned. “What kind of foolish question is that? Of course, I’m here to bring you back. Or do you wish to die here?” As usual, his words cut sharp and quick.

I drew in a deep breath, intently studying his features. I reached out, gently touched his face, and whispered, “Now death doesn’t seem so unworthy.”

Emotions flickered in his eyes as his heartbeat quickened, betraying his vulnerability. He seized my shoulder, his voice low and growling, “Hey, Oran, don’t mess with me.”

“Why? You’re allowed to f**k with my feelings, but I’m not?” I demanded, glaring at him. “The first time, you f**ked with me saying two men couldn’t be soulmates. Then, you screwed with me again by claiming you only saw me as your best friend. The third time, you messed with my heart by constantly protecting Ella, leading me to believe you loved her, and that’s why I f**ked her out of jealousy,” I admitted, locking eyes with him, seeing the guilt reflected in them. That day Bix had not

walked into the locker room by chance. I was aware of his schedule, so I deliberately brought Ella to the locker room at the same time Bix was expected to arrive. Although Bix was fully aware of my intentions, he pretended to be oblivious and left the locker room without acknowledging the situation, never mentioning it again. It had just infuriated me further, and gradually I began to develop a dislike for Ella, who was unaware of the matebond between Bix and me. “Despite all of that, I still clung to you, even though you kept f**king with my feelings. Even though I couldn’t have you. So, I’m the one who’s messed up here,” I chuckled bitterly, looking away, not wanting to burden him any further.

A heavy silence fell between us. I started regretting blaming him for everything when suddenly, Bix did something I had never imagined in my whole life. He leaned in and pressed his lips against mine!

“I am the f**ker here not you,” I was momentarily surprised before my eyes widened as Bix kissed me. It marked the first time he took the lead in a kiss we shared. Despite his initial hesitation and the tremble in his touch, his heartbeat revealed his true feelings, overpowering any resistance he had imposed on himself.

As I recovered from my initial shock, I placed my hand on the back of his neck and drew him into a passionate kiss. His surprise was evident as he momentarily hesitated, but he did not resist at all, knowing there was no turning back. Ignoring his inner turmoil, he bravely crossed the line of inhibition and embraced the moment.

Feeling his lips against mine was a heavenly sensation that I had craved for years. I kissed him deeply, momentarily forgetting everything else. Eventually, he pulled away, his ears turning red as he said, “Let’s return to the pack. I can’t remain the pack’s head warrior forever,” he muttered.

“Why are you acting so shy after taking advantage of me?” I asked with a smile, gently tracing a finger over the shell of his

ear.

“Who said I took advantage of you?” He snapped. “You’re the one always eyeing me like a heat– crazed animal, making s**ual advances!” he growled, punching my chest.

“Ow…” I groaned in pain but the smile never left my lips. My years of patience had finally paid off now that Bix was no longer holding himself but accepting us together in silence.

up at me for the answers.

My gaze turned serious, “Black is not Dark.”

“How is that possible?” he was taken aback, “He attacked Reuben, threatened Willow and…” NôvelDrama.Org owns this.

“It was all just a ploy to separate them…” piece by piece I explained everything that I heard while I was laying on the ground. I was too injured to move my limbs but everything registered in my memory.

Bix’s face lost color when I told him that Reuben left after ensuring I was safe. “So you mean to say he went to the Wade Moon Pack knowing DARK WAS THERE?!” he almost yelled the last part of the sentence.

I nodded, “Do you think anyone could have stopped him when Willow was there?”

“F**k! F**k! F**k!” Bix yanked at his hair. “Reuben went knowing that Dark had set a trap!”

We both looked at each other with alarmed panic. “I don’t have a good feeling about this,” Bix stated.

I hated to admit it but I agreed. “Can you use your wizard powers?” I asked.

“Seeing as Dark’s powers are superior, I am not sure but I will try,” Bix replied. We both nodded before Bix desperately closed his eyes, soon his hands started flashing with his wizard powers. Soon an energy formed in front of us and as soon as the view of Wade Moon Pack started to appear in front of us, our eyes shone in excitement to see Willow and Reuben, however what came in front of our eyes shook both of us to the core.

Bix’s powers were immediately interrupted and the view in front of us disappeared probably due to Dark’s actions.

“What the f**k did I just see?” I murmured under my breath, my whole body grew cold at what my eyes had witnessed. Bix slowly turned to me, his white face revealing what I saw had not been my imagination. “Reuben died?”

Author’s note:

Hello everyone,

I hope you’re all doing well. Yes, I know this chapter is short, but that’s because the next chapter is going to take a final step in the story! Every secret will be revealed, and I’m trying to tie up the story that I’ve explained on my Facebook page. If you follow my page you will get all the imformation and annoucement. Please don’t try to rush me because there’s no way I’m going to ruin my story due to someone’s impatience.

All I can say at this point is that, according to my calculations, the book is going to end in ten to twelve chapters. I’ll be posting one chapter a day as usual because writing is not everything in my life. I have life outside this novel world. However, you always have the choice to wait for a few days and read when the book is complete.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
