Chapter 142 Not Happy About This

It was dark.

After the black car stopped, Chaim did not get out of the car immediately.

He opened the window and looked at his “compensation” for Samara on the seat beside him. After a while, Chaim reached out to pick up the document pouch and pushed open the door of the car.

This was the second time he had come to find Samara.

When the doorbell rang, Samara had just come out of the bathroom after taking a shower.

When Gisselle heard the doorbell ring, she stopped playing the game and looked up at Samara. “It’s so late. It can’t be Mr. Garza again, right? He really loves you!”

Samara glanced at Gisselle and walked to open the door.

When she saw who it was, the smile on Samara’s face immediately faded. “What are you doing here?”

Gisselle peeked out and also saw Chaim. Gisselle stood up from the sofa in a flash and ran to Samara. “Close the door!”

Gisselle had never liked Chaim. When Samara was still married to him, Gisselle had put up with him for Samara’s sake. But now Chaim and Samara were no longer married, Gisselle felt there was no need to tolerate him.

After Gisselle said this, she reached out and pressed the door to close it.

“I want to talk to you.”

“Talk about what? What’s there to talk about with you? She can talk about life and dreams with me. She can talk about her feelings with Mr. Garza. What does it have to do with you? You are not welcome here. Please…”

Gisselle has a sharp tongue, but she could be timid.

Chaim just glanced at her indifferently, and Gisselle suddenly couldn’t say what she wanted.

Samara glanced at Gisselle. “You should go back inside.”

Gisselle stole a glance at Chaim and said, “No, what if he hits you?”

Samara took Gisselle’s hand away, pushed her into the room, and then closed the door, walking out.

Samara had just taken a shower and was wearing a loose home dress. As soon as she approached, Chaim smelled the shower gel on her.

Chaim remembered what Gisselle had just said, “She can talk about life and dreams with me. She can talk about her feelings with Mr. Garza.” This afternoon, when Chaim drove Camille to the hospital, Roland was carrying Samara out of the hospital.

So, Samara was with Roland now?

“I will give you five minutes to say what you want.”

Samara’s words jerked Chaim back to reality. He cleared his mind and handed the document pouch to Samara. “The villa in Wiven Mountain under my name, the house in Sunny Garden, and three percent of my asset value added during our three years of marriage will be given to you as compensation.”

Samara looked at the khaki document pouch in front of her, rolling her eyes. “Compensate me?” Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.

As she spoke, she looked up at Chaim and suddenly chuckled, “Is it because of Camille?”

Chaim did not reply to her question. “You are right. We have already divorced. From now on, we have nothing to do with each

other. I don’t want these things to happen again.”

“If I remember correctly, the market value of the villa in Wiven Mountain should be about 15 million dollars now, right? The house in Sunny Garden should be more than 5 million dollars. Your assets in the past three years have increased by about 800

million dollars. 3 percent of it should be 24 million dollars. In tal, you are giving me 44 million dollars.

“How generous.”

It was not the first time that Chaim had seen Samara smile. However, her smile dazzled him. He frowned and said, “I know you are not happy with this.”

Hearing that, Samara stopped smiling instantly and looked up at him coldly. “That’s right. But do you know why?”
