Gina, And Her Triplet Alphas

Chapter 48

Third person narrative

Later that afternoon, when Zane noticed that Jasmine had been indoors all door, he decided to go check on her.

He slowly knocked on her door before entering the room, on getting inside the room, he found Jasmine quietly sobbing with her legs folded up and her hands wrapped around them.

“Hey, babe, what is it?” he asked as he climbed on the bed to go pull her to himself.

He noticed that she seemed not to have done much since they both came in this morning and just realizing how sad she must have been all day made his heart ache.

“What is it Jasmine, talk to me,” he said softly patting her.

“I don’t know, I feel really bad about everything that has happened and I do want everyone to forgive me,” she said.

“But they have forgiven you, I don’t think anyone still holds grudges after this morning, I think you should learn to let it go, okay,” Zane said.

Jasmine slowly nods her head in agreement as she wipes her eyes.

“I am thinking of apologizing to everyone, personally, starting from Mia. I feel so horrible with the way our friendship went sour and I can only hope we become best of friends again,” she said

“Well, if you feel apologizing to everyone yourself would make you feel better, then I think you should do it and I will be with you all through it,” Zane assured her.

“Thank you, Zane, you have been understanding and I am truly sorry for the pain I might have caused you due to my actions,” she said.

“Okay, thank you, Jasmine, I am glad you have realized your mistakes and I am glad we are back to being mates, that is all I have ever wanted. All my my brothers ever wanted,” he said pulling her close to him and placing k****s on her hair.

“Can you follow me to Mia’s room?” She asked.

“Sure,” answered Zane.

So they walked out of her room and moved towards mia room.

Zane knocked on the door, and after a few seconds opened the door to see Mia standing at the door with puffy eyes.

She appears to have been crying and he needed not to ask why.

Seeing Mia’s face made Jasmine’s eyes water all over again.

“Mia, I’m sorry. I know what I did was wrong, and I have no excuse for it,” Jasmine started, with her head faced down.

Mia was regarding Jasmine with sad eyes as she listened to her apology.

“I learned my lesson, and I know never to do something like that, ever again, so please I’m begging you to forgive me,” Jasmine pleaded

Mia sighed, looking away from Jasmine. Yes, she had been very angry at the beginning, but she could no longer keep on being angry. She missed her best friend, and she wanted her back.

Jasmine was about to continue her appeal, when Mia walked to Jasmine, pulled her from the door, and hugged her tightly.

Jasmine gasped, surprised by Mia’s actions. Because of how long and how angry Mia had been at her, she did expect her to forgive her so easily. She expected to grovel a little more before that happened.

“It’s fine, Jasmine. I forgive you,” Mia said, holding Jasmine tight. “I’m sorry too. I said a lot of bad things to you, and even about your parents. I had no such rights, so please forgive me too,” Mia said.

“No, that’s fine, Mia. I understand.” Jasmine said, finally hugging Mia back.

They pulled away from each other, but never left each other’s arms.

“I missed you,” Mia said, as she placed her hand on Jasmine’s face.

“Me too, Jasmine smiled.

“Well.” Zane said after a while. “…I guess our work here is done, on to the next, and we’re going to need your help,”

Mia turned to him confused, as she completely separated herself from Jasmine.

“With what?” Mia asked, raising an eyebrow.

“We want to go meet Calix and Ethan now, Jasmine replied. “So I was wondering if you could go with me,” asked Jasmine.

Mia sucked air in through her teeth.

“Well, this is going to be hard, but I’ll try my best to help out,” Mia smiled positively.

They all left Mia’s room and moved to the brothers’ room.

They stood in front of the door, and Zane pushed it open.

Jasmine was sweating more than normal.

Zane went in first, followed by Mia. Calix and Ethan had already started talking to Zane and Mia, and she almost didn’t want to enter the room. They were talking happily now, but the moment they saw her, their mood changed.

She slowly stepped into the room, making her presence known, and the conversation stopped abruptly.

“What’s going on?” Calix asked. “Why did you bring her in here?” He looked at Zane.

Zane is slightly taken aback by Calix’s outburst because he could have almost sworn that his both brothers had forgiven Jasmine after their discussion this morning

Even though Ethan wasn’t saying anything, his body language says he was still upset.

“Please, Calix I’m here to apologize, said Jasmine.

“We’ve heard too much of that apology. If we were going to forgive her, we would have done so a long time ago, he said abruptly

“Yo, dude. Just hear her out okay Zane said and Calix pursed his lips.

“I know what I did to you guys is unforgivable. I’m not going to justify my actions, whatever ever. I just hope you guys find a way to forgive me. I’m so sorry for being a coward and running away for something so trivial, and causing unnecessary problems,” Jasmine had tears in her eyes as she said this.

“I’ve done a lot of things to you brothers, things that I regret and I don’t blame you at all for not wanting to forgive me. I just really want us to be together. I can’t take it any longer.

It breaks my heart when you ignore me. It leaves me helpless and not knowing what to do,” By now, tears had already started rushing down her cheeks.

Ethan stood up from the bed, now walking to the window and facing away from Jasmine, not wanting to look at her.

“I’m also sorry for rejecting you. I don’t know if you’re going to forgive me, but I’m sorry. I had too much baggage, but yet, you brothers were still willing to accept me, so I hope you can accept me this time too,

Jasmine stopped talking as she was crying too much, and words refused to form.

“Come on, guys,” Mia chipped in. “How long are you going to continue like this? I know you guys want to forgive her, but you’re just being strong-headed. She’s your mate. You will eventually forgive her, so why not do it now, Mia demanded.

“It’s not about forgiving her now, Mia. What happens tomorrow when we make a mistake or someone decides to mess up our lives? Is she going to allow us to explain ourselves or is she going to run away again,” Ethan questioned, with his gaze still outside the window.

“I have learned my lesson the hard way, and I have also realized that nobody is perfect, I promise to henceforth be a better mate and to be more mature in handling things,” Jasmine said

Ethan pushed his hands deep into his pocket and looked down. Calix looked away.

After a while, they both walked to her, holding her close to them without saying a word. Jasmine looked up at them surprised and was about to say something, but they just hugged her close as she cried.

Zane and Mia looked at each other and smiled knowingly.

Ethan and Calix were only behaving angrily whenever they were in front of Jasmine.

After the initial anger had died down, they went on and on about how they missed her and wanted to be with her again.

When jasmine had calmed down, they pulled away from each other, and she looked up at them. “I’m sorry,” she said one more time.

“It’s okay, baby. We’re sorry too. For being so mean to you, but everything’s fine now,”Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.

They took her to Ethan’s bed and sat her down, sitting on eithesidees of her.

“But I still feel guilty about what happened to your dad. I feel so bad every time I think about it. I don’t know what to do,” Jasmine said as she played with her fingers.

“Ohh it’s okay baby. Dad’s fine. He’s been getting better and better. We could go see him if you want, Zane suggested

“Where is he?” Asked Jasmine

“He had a bit of flu yesterday and mom insisted he went to the hospital, so they sort of placed him on bed rest,” explained Mia.

“Yeah, we were already planning to go today, anyway,” Calix said and then they all agreed to go.

They all got in the car and Ethan drove them to the hospital. When they got there, they went up to Denver’s room and knocked on his door.

They slid it open and walked in one after the other.

Jasmine was surprised to see her parents with Mia’s parents.

“Whoa! It’s surprising to see you all together,” Gina said, with a surprised look on her face.

“Have you all made up?” Jasmine’s mom asked, also surprised

“Yes, mom. We have,” Jasmine replied.

“Well, that’s good, I guess. I was wondering when you all would get to it because it was starting to get old,” Gina joked and all the parents laughed

After exchanging pleasantries, Jasmine decided to state the reason she had come to visit Denver in the hospital.

“I came here to apologize to Alpha Denver,” Jasmine started. “It was my fault he got injured. If only I hadn’t been childish, then this would never have happened, so I’m sorry,” she said with a sad tone

As she said this, Denver and the other parents burst out laughing. Mia, Jasmine, and the brothers looked at each other, confused.

“Why are you guys laughing?” She asked.

“It’s nothing, Jasmine. it’s not your fault what happened to me. It happened because of my carelessness. I wasn’t quick to notice that there was a bomb there, and that’s on me. I’m happy that this happened to only me and not any other person. Also, it helped us discover that there’s someone after us. So don’t blame yourself, okay,” Denver explained.

“But-“

“No buts, Jasmine. The only thing I want you to focus on now, is building back your relationship with your mates and best friend, okay? Don’t worry about any other thing,” Denver said with a smile.

Jasmine nodded her head and smiled, thankful to have such great people by her side. She finally felt safe.

They stayed at the hospital for a while longer, and when the sun was about to set, they all left to go home, leaving Denver to complete his treatment after which, Devon would drive him home.

When they got back home, they all had dinner together.

They talk amongst themselves, happy and laughing.

“How about you kids homeschool for a while?” Derrick suggested. “We’ve been speaking to Jasmine’s parents, and we think it’s best to homeschool till things die down or we solve the problem,”

“We can’t have you guys going out to school when the threat hasn’t been dealt with,” Gina added.

“It’s fine, mom. We’re okay to stay at home. We wouldn’t want to cause you any trouble, Mia said and her parents nodded.

“I guess that’s settled then,”

They continued their dinner, but then Jasmine went silent.

She started thinking about what she had seen at Noah’s house. She knew that he was planning something, but she couldn’t tell what it was.

She contemplated telling everyone, but she didn’t want to ruin the happiness that they had all just gotten, so she decided to stay quiet.

“What’s wrong?” You’re not eating,” Mia asked her, a worried look on her face.

“Oh, nothing,” Jasmine lied. “I’m just feeling a little sick, that’s all,”

“Really? Are you okay?”

“I think I’ll go to my room first to rest, I’ll talk to you later,” Jasmine said to her

She then excused herself and left the table. The brothers looked amongst themselves then at Mia, confused.

Jasmine didn’t bother explaining what was wrong and just went up to her room. When she got there, she sighed deeply and jumped in her bed. She stared up at the ceiling, wondering if there was anything she could do about the situation.

Just then, her phone pinged, and she picked it up to check the message, and it seemed to be from an unknown number.

It read, ‘I’m coming for you’

Jasmine sighed as she stared at her phone. She knew immediately that it was Noah who had sent that message, but she decided not to do anything about it. She didn’t want to tell her mates either.

She just turned off her phone and lay on her side, trying her best to fall asleep.
