Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1391

"Louise, head over to the principal's office." The guidance counselor's face was as stern as ever, and her tone was sharp.

"Alright, got it." Louise nodded, managing to keep her cool and maintain her usual confident demeanor. "Hey, don't worry about me, guys. If I didn't do it, I didn't do it. I'm not scared because I trust the principal will do the right thing! You all stay focused on class." With that, she held her head high, puffed out her chest, and stepped out of the classroom.

Her unruffled attitude led everyone to believe in her innocence a bit more. Maybe Louise really wasn't the one responsible after all.

As she followed the counselor down the hallway, Louise discreetly pulled out her phone to send a quick message.

"Louise, you..." The counselor turned around just then.

"Miss, the truth will come out," Louise quickly tucked her phone away, a smile still on her face. "If I didn't do it, then I didn't do it. No one can pin this on me."

"I certainly hope this isn't linked to you. This issue has gotten huge. If you're involved, you might face expulsion, you understand that?"

"It wasn't me," Louise reiterated.

"Alright then." The teacher nodded. "Be clear when we get to the office and explain everything."

"Okay." Louise nodded, maintaining her smile.

...

In Mr. Garcia's office.

Louise walked in and was greeted by a room full of people. Her heart skipped a beat!

Her eyes scanned the room subtly, landing on Fiona, who was lounging on the sofa, legs crossed, sipping tea as if she didn't have a care in the world Louise clenched her fists. How could Fiona, the one who got her into this mess, sit there so calmly?

Louise tore her gaze away.

The sight of Nash gave her a flicker of hope. Surely Nash would be on her side, right?

But her nerves kept her from noticing the coldness in Nash's gaze.

"Hello, everyone. Is there something specific you need from me?" she asked, keeping her composure. She couldn't resist glancing at Fiona again. The brief eye contact left her unsettled.

Fiona looked smug and self-assured, like she was watching a show where Louise was the main act, her expression full of disdain.

Louise's eyes traveled upward, and she felt her breath catch.

Jackson sat next to Fiona, exuding a protective vibe.

Louise clenched her teeth, shaking with jealousy.

Mr. Garcia regarded her with a stony expression, wanting to smooth things over. But handling both Jackson and Fiona was no small feat, making the situation tricky. "Cough... Louise, the school board is aware of the forum incident. How do you plan to explain that?"

Louise had rehearsed her answer on the way over. She looked up, wearing an innocent expression.

She took a few steps closer to Fiona, eyes welling with tears. "Fiona,

you've got to believe me. I'm

innocent. Someone hacked my

account and posted all that stuff. I

didn't know a thing about it."

Fiona frowned slightly, clearly uninterested. She spoke softly, her face expressing pure disdain. "And why should I believe you? Who are you to me?"

Louise was caught off guard, not expecting Fiona's bluntness. She stammered, momentarily speechless.
