Fatal Kiss Of The Vampire

Chapter 176: I See Your Point

She didn’t want to get involved with the chaos, though, she started to pick up a fight with Ken as she felt pity with the girls. She can’t risk Faith’s life and hers. Once they were safe, Faith asked Kylie if the attack was personal.

“At first it wasn’t,” Kylie replied, “but then Ken recognized me immediately, and it became personal. He had once tried to assault me, but I got away. From what he said there, it seems to me that it is safe to say that he wants a second chance to do it again. Now that he knows I am in this area, he will probably send some of his men to run after me, so we need to find somewhere safe to go until all of this all cools down. I don’t want to risk your life, involving my personal matters. We are friends, but your safety is my most concern,”

Faith felt moved with Kylie’s words, “We are really kind and soft-hearted human beings. I can’t accept the fact that your own father threw you away from your home and he dares to hurt you emotionally,”

“Yeah, it’s a long story. My Mom had sacrificed herself for that man, but he betrayed her. I learned to fight because my father gives me no other option,” She heaved a deep sighed.

Faith fell into silence, and then she said, “Are you not going to give Ethan a chance to explain? If you doubt his loyalty and purpose of marrying you, you should at least hear his side. I think the most suitable way to settle a problem between a couple is a proper talk. He is still your husband, babe!”All rights © NôvelDrama.Org.

Kylie once again sighed, “I don’t know what I am going to do. My mind was full of negative thoughts about him. Doubt starts to build inside my mind. Honestly speaking, I felt jealous because I saw a woman with him earlier. My Dad betrayed my Mom by having an affair. So you can’t blame me why I have this kind of doubt towards Ethan,”

“Yeah, I got it! Betraying is one of the habits that destroy so many relationships. Babe, no matter what happens, I will always be at your side. I am willing to accompany you during your struggle,” Faith smiled at her.

Fannie had only met Kylie a few times, but she thought very highly of her, and she worried about her safety. Once Ken and his men were “subdued,” she went with Nate to see if she was in. When she was told that Kylie wasn’t, she became even more concerned.

“Let’s take a drive in and around the area,” Nate suggested. “If we see her, great, but we should also consider checking into any of the stores that Kylie might feel safe hiding in.”

Faith and Kylie knew that it wasn’t safe to return to The Four Seasons, so they checked into a cheap motel and paid in cash. Once they were settled, Faith looked at Kylie and said, “Things have gotten out of control. Are you sure that you don’t want to contact Ethan? I am sure that he could come up with a better solution for us. Hiding is not really my thing if you know what I mean…”

No,” Kylie replied as she plugged her phone in. “I am sorry, but I don’t like your idea. Ethan is too far away. Let’s just make the most of the situation. I am going to go for a long hot bath, and then I am going to lie down. Who knows; I might even fall asleep. And everything will look better in the morning.”

As it turned out, Kylie was not able to sleep. After trying for about an hour, she turned on her phone to see what was going on in the land of Facebook. The first thing she noticed was that she’d received a message from Stars: “Kylie, do you still have a boyfriend?”

Kylie smiled and replied: “I don’t know…”

Stars: “It takes a lot of courage to marry a cactus.”

At first, Kylie didn’t understand the cactus reference, but it didn’t take her long to realize that he was making fun of her. “He is too old for me,” Kylie wrote. “Another few years he will be impotent and incontinent. Who has time for that? Not me. I have no intention of marrying the man.”

“You are too funny,” Stars replied, “but I see your point. If you ever find yourself wanting a younger better-looking husband, let me know. As of yet, I am still available.”

Suddenly a notice bubble popped up to notify Kylie that she’d received a text from someone else. She opened that field and saw that it was from Ethan. His message said, “Kylie, I can see that you are online, so I hope that you will hear me out. I know why you are upset, and that is fair, but I can explain everything. Please, tell me where you are so that I can come and pick you up.”

As Kylie read Ethan’s message, she felt like crying. She wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt but, if she was honest with herself, she knew that she didn’t trust him. Not wanting to think about it anymore, she turned her phone off and put it under her pillow.

Kylie was even more tired than she had been when she’d first tried to lie down, but she knew that if she tried to sleep now, she would not be able to. Feeling bored, she decided to go back into the living room. As she walked through the entrance to the living room, though, she was surprised to see Ken White sitting casually on the couch, and Faith was nowhere to be seen. Apparently, she’d gone back to her own room.

“What do you want with me?” Kylie shouted, hoping that someone outside would hear her cries and come to save her.

“Isn’t it obvious?’ Ken laughed. “I want to have my way with you.”
