I’m sueing your driver!
“What happened to your face?” Demelza’s stepmum asked with concern.
“Nothing you should worry about, ma,” Demelza responded as she turned her face away from her stepmum. She wasn’t in the mood for question and answer as she had alot going on in her mind.
“Seriously? You not saying anything?” Her step mum stressed but she kept mute like she wasn’t hearing her.
“Demelza, are you really _” she was cut short as the door opened and they both turned to see who it was.
“Good evening ma’am, good evening Missy,” the doctor greeted Demelza and her stepmum with a smile on his face.
“Good evening, doc,” they both responded in chorus with their eyes fixed on him eager to know why he came.
“Well, congratulations to you both.” The doctor congratulated them with a smile which made both women confused. “Your mum has been very responsive to treatment and she will be discharged this evening. All she needs to do is to try to engage herself in activities that will make her happy and also, she should try and much as possible to avoid excessive stress. I’ll sign her discharge papers and you can both go home,” The doctor explained to them in delight.
Relief washed over both women and they felt at peace with what the doctor said. Demelza smiled happily and followed the doctor to his office as she had some questions ask and she also needed to settle whatever bill that is left to pay.
In less than five minutes, she was done in the doctor’s office and proceeded to the counter where she was to settle the remaining bill.
“How much is my bill?” Demelza asked the lady in the front desk.
“Name please?” the lady asked.
“Harriet Thorpes,” Demelza responded.
The lady types for a short while before looking up.
“There is no bill. It has been settled,” the lady responded.
“Are you sure about that?” Demelza asked for confirmation as she could not think of anyone who would do that.
“Yes, ma’am,” the lady responded and Demelza turned to leave.
She felt happy that she would be able to reserve the money she would have paid but she kept thinking about who would be so nice to do that?
She walked back to her stepmom’s room to take her things and go home.
“Can we go now?” Her step mum Harriet asked as Demelza walked in.
“Yeah, sure. ” Demelza responded absent mindedly.
Demelza and Harriet made their way home and in less than fifteen minutes they were back home already. Demelza ensured Harriet settled in before she decided to leave for Nathan’s house. She made up her mind that the accident was not going to prevent her from doing what she needed to do since she couldn’t make it to Hampton’s place.
“I’ll be right back, ma,” she told Harriet and left without waiting for Harriet to say anything.
The night was chilly but it wasn’t a factor to discourage Demelza from going to Nathan’s house.
The worst that could happen was her catching a cold she thought to herself.
She stopped a cab and told him the address of Nathan’s house. When she got there, the security refused to let her in which made her to create a scene that drew Nathan’s attention to what was happening outside.
Immediately Nathan saw her, he stopped what he was doing and rushed downstairs.
“You may leave us,” he told the security, needing some privacy as he could not afford their conversation to be heard by a third party.
“Are you nuts? What the fuck are you doing in my house? And how did you even know the address to my house?” Nathan asked in utter shock.
He knew Demelza was desperate for help but he didn’t think she was this desperate.
“I came here to let you know that I will sue your driver for hitting me and I bet you wouldn’t want a scandal to your name,” Demelza confronted Nathan who was still looking at her in utter shock.
“You are bluffing,” He responded.
“Am I? I have pictures of the incident, the plate number of the car is in one of the pictures the onlookers took. So tell me, am I really bluffing?” She asked him with her eyes fixed on him.
“You will do no such thing,” Nathan told her, feeling very upset.Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.
“You think perhaps I should tell Hampton about the wonderful night we had together and how I made you as hard as a rock and how you pleasured me so much that I came all over your cock. Need I mention how fucked me so hard you came on me with a smile in your face. Oh! How could I forget the part of having you suck on my tits and my clits until_” Nathan cut her short by placing his palm over her mouth.
With his palm on her mouth, he steadily pushed her backward until her back was against the pillar of his gate. “Your nightmare for now is only Hampton right? Imagine how miserable your life will become if I join forces with him. I will make sure I suck every life out of you and watch you drown in depression until you have nothing to live for. Your father will rot in jail, your stepmom will loose her will to live as she will watch how life will slowly become a horror for her. And as for you, you will become a hoe in everyone’s eyes,” He told her looking straight into her eyes.
Demelza became shaken with every word that came out of Nathan’s mouth. She knew that he could make her life a living hell if he wanted to.
“No one messes with Nathan Storm.” He tells her and gives her a very deep kiss and cleaned his lips afterward.
“You’re still sweet I must say,” he told her with a smirk on his face as he turned to leave.
He walked towards where the security men were and instructed them to ensure she left.
Demelza stood there frozen by everything that just happened, unable to move an inch.
“Please, leave, ma’am.” The security man told her, feeling sorry for her as he could see tears dripping down her eyes.
She turned to leave, taking each step slowly and swearing in her heart that Hampton and Nathan will never win. With every step taken, she thought hard about her next line of action.
