Chapter 25- Amara
Chapter 25- Amara
“Beth take Eros and wait near the car. Ryder will keep you company.”
“Why me? Elliot is youngest. Send him away.” She whined. “Or send Val she is stupid.”
Val protested from Beth’s side.
Oh lord! This girl always has answers for everything.
“Ryder, do you mind coming to the clearing near the pack’s houses? I don’t think Eros should be here
while we talk about… well an upcoming war and I am sending Val and Beth with him.”
“Sure. I will be there in a second.”
I sighed in relief.
“Beth, Val both of you are leaving with Eros. Stay with Uncle Ryder till we get back. Do not wonder
around alone and listen to him. Am I clear?”
“But mom he is scary.” Eros said jutting his lower lip out.
Val nodded. Beth looked at me with a wide grin. She really seems to like Ryder.
“He is not scary. He is just a huge puppy.” I said giggling.
Ryder would skin me alive if he heard that. I heard Steven choke on… I don’t know what. I don’t know
why everyone fears my sweet brother.
“Steven do you mind dropping them off?” I asked smirking.
His face turned into a horrified expression.
“Mom we can go by ourselves. It’s not that far.” Val whined.
“The situation we are in is not safe. We need to be careful.”
“Mom I will drop them off. I want to meet Uncle Ryder too.” Aria volunteered.
“Fine.”
The four of them left. I looked around to find Zeno’s eyes focused on Aria’s retreating figure. I can’t
actually do anything about him at the moment. Leo hung his head when my eyes fell on him.
“Thank you for gathering here on such a short notice.” I started as my kids and Lucas, Archer and
Hudson took their seats. “We have an important decision to make. We are in a possible threat of being
attacked by our old enemies. Demons.” The clearing lit up with gasps and murmurs. “They had already
killed other packs. Ours is the only one left. The three boys are from a pack that was attacked a month
ago. They are the only survivors.” I said pointing to Archer, Lucas and Hudson. “Their spirit alpha
managed to save them and he also made sure to inform us of it. He is currently staying with Ryder, my
older brother and the other spirit wolves.” There was a confused uplift in the silent talks mostly between
the shifter’s parents and the children. “Those of you who don’t know about spirit wolves, I will explain
about them in short afterwards. Just to say they are the wolf part of the shifters and they merge with
you when the danger to the pack arises.”
The air filled with more mumbles and gasps of surprise. Everyone except the current shifters and their
mates were whispering amongst each other.
“SLIENCE.” NôvelDrama.Org: owner of this content.
Everyone on the filed shivered in fear and bowed their heads slightly. Alpha voices do that to humans
and shifters alike.
“So where were we? Oh yeah! You must have guessed that, to fend of the danger some of the children
will be shifting.” I saw Zeno, Francis and Fabian grin from the side of my eye. Bastards. “But we have
run into a problem. The spirit wolves are refusing to merge with their humans.”
I smirked when the grins from those three idiots’ face slipped.
“Then how are we going to fight?” It was Hugo that asked it.
That kid is more of an Alpha than Zeno could ever be.
“Well we are here to solve that.”
“Why are they refusing?” Thomas, Leo’s father asked.
“They don’t trust Zeno, Francis and Fabian with power nor they deem them worthy of leading after what
they did to Aria all these years.” I said in a firm voice.
The reactions were just as mind blowing as I expected. The humans in the pack and the children glared
at the three who looked like they wanted the ground to open up and swallow them.
“What did they do to the poor girl?” Stella, Leo’s mate and Zeno’s mom asked with a shaky voice.
“They bullied her since she started living with us. They also deliberately isolated her from everyone
from pack and any humans in school by presenting her like a bad and arrogant person. The panic
attack she had on the day of bonfire was also caused by these three. Well mostly because of Zeno.”
Steven explained.
“They are lucky I didn’t kill them yet for putting my daughter through this. I decided not to take actions
because of my fellow pack members and Aria telling me not to but they crossed the line again and
started visiting our house daily once the school started as I changed Aria’s school so she could have a
peaceful last year of school. Yesterday though Aria snapped when Zeno tried to approach her when we
weren’t home and she was alone. She knocked him out. Now he is banned from our house and is not
to come near Aria whatsoever.” I said smirking.
“You should have beat the crap out of him.” Stella spat.
“Why just ban them? You should have definitely beat them up.” Riley, Stanley’s mate and Francis’s
mother hissed angrily.
“I am ashamed of these brats. I don’t remember raising them like that.” Mia, Ryan’s mate and Fabian’s
mother said in a disgusted voice.
“Mom please. Let me explain.” Zeno said desperately.
