Damian’s Obsession

10

Thankfully I didn’t miss my way because this mansion is really big.

I locked the door behind me and laid down tiredly on the bed. This is really frustrating. I’m here, stuck in a mansion with a really undeniably hot captor that wouldn’t let me go.

I have no one to talk to about my predicament. Even if I do, I don’t have my phone with me.

Wait… I stood up from the bed and checked the pockets of my skirt but couldn’t find it. I checked around the room including the drawers and the closet but it wasn’t there.

“Wait…. I hope he didn’t take it from me. There’s only one way to find out.” I left the room and went in search for him to question him about my missing phone.

I went downstairs and headed towards the dinning hall but I couldn’t find him there. Instead, I met some maids cleaning up the table.

I walked towards them. They quuckly bowed in courtesy when they noticed my presence.

Weird.

“Where’s Damian?” I asked ignoring their actions.

The seemed surprised and scared at my question which made me confused.

“What’s wrong?” I asked filled with curiousity.Content is © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

“We aren’t supposed to call master by his name if not, there would be consequences.” One of them muttered with a bow.

Is that why they were scared?

He wasn’t kidding when he said no one calls him by his name. But that’s really stupid. I didn’t know if I should be happy he gave me that privilege.

“Get a grip of yourself Selina.”I muttered.

“What did you say miss??” one of the maids asked.

“Where’s he?” I asked instead.

“He went to his office.” She answered.

“Where is it?” I asked again.

“Upstairs.. the second floor. Just walk straight for a while then take a left. The first door.. that’s it.” Another maid answered.

“Okay. Thank you.” I muttered amd left them so they could continue what they were doing.

I followed the direction the maid gave me. In no time, I got to my destination. I was about to knock when I heard some voices

“What is it Grey?” I heard Damian say.

“I just captured a worker trying to run away with some of the merchandise.” I heard a male voice say. He’s probably the Grey.

“Who else would it be?” My inner woman asked in a ‘duh’ tone.

“Where’s he?” Damian asked again

“In the dungeon boss.” The Grey amswered.

“Dungeon?? He has a friggin’ dungeon in this house?” I asked myself.

I heard footsteps from the room so I hud myself quickly so Damian won’t catch me eavesdropping on his conversation.

Damian walked out of the room with Grey trailing behind him. He looked so different. He had that killer gaze in his eyes.

The same one he had when he was torturing that man in the alley.

Does that mean he’s headed to the dungeon to kill that thief? I hope not.

I decided to follow him to see what happens.

“What do you think you’re doing? Are you crazy?” My inner woman screamed at me.

“I know you might call me stupid but I don’t mind. I love to satisfy my curiosity.” I answered.

“Well that curiosity of yours is going to get us killed.” She warned but I shut her off.

That’s just how I am even though it lands me in trouble.

I trailed behind them for I while, keeping a safe distance between me and them so I wouldn’t be caught.

We entered a room which looked like an underground lair. I guess this is the dungeon.

I hid behind the door and watched Damian closely. I saw he walk towards a man that looked beaten almost to death.

They were saying something but due to tge distance between ne and them, I couldn’t hear what they were saying.

Before I knew what was happening, Damian picked uo a dagger and stabbed the man’s right leg.

I almost let out a scream but was quick to cover my mouth so I wouldn’t be heard.

Then he stabbed the man’s second leg while ignoring the man’s painful scream.

I couldn’t hold it so I let out a small whimper. I need to leave here. I can’t keep watching this but I just couldn’t move my legs.

When I thought I had seen the worst, Damian used the dagger to slash the man’s throat which made some of the blood splatter all over his face and clothes.

I watched in horror as the man struggled to breath. It wasn’t long before he finally gave up the ghost.

“What the hell?? How could he murder a human like it was nothing??” I asked myself as he cleaned the blood on his face in disgust.

He was about to leave when he finally noticed my presence. He looked shocked and scared. Wait.. why was he scared when he just slaughtered a human being.

“Selina.” I heard him call.

I stared at him in fear and horror. My legs that couldn’t move at first started to feel weak. My eyes felt really heavy.

“Selina??” He called again.

Before I knew it, my body gave up and I collapsed on something warm.

“Quick get the doctor!!” I heard Damian say before I finally lost consciousness.

~AT A CLUB~

A man in his early thirties, dressed in a black suit sat in the VIP section and watched tiredly as the pole dancers tried their best to entertain him.

He puffed out the smoke he had inhaled from the cigarette he was holding.

The door was suddenly open and a man walked in.

“Boss.” He greeted with a bow.

“Get out!” He ordered and all the strippers left the room immediately.

“Where you able to find anything Leo?” The man asked Leo as he puffed out another line of smoke.

“Yes sir.” He placed a file on the table.

The man opened it and read it’s contents.

“Her name is Selina Cortez. She twenty four years old orphan. There’s nothing really interesting about her. Plus she has no connection with the mafia world.” Leo said.

“I see.” The man placed the file back on the table.

“That only means Damian has taken a love interest in her. Well she’s really beautiful, I’ll admit that bur Damian’s really foolish to not learn from his oast mistake.” The man said with a dark chuckle erupting from his throat.

“Do you want us to kidnap her?” Leo asked.

“No… not yet. Let the love birds be for a while. We’ll attack when the time is right.” The man answered as he smiled devilishly.
