Chapter 13: The LGBT alphabet
Chapter 13: The LGBT alphabet
"Aren't you scared someone might just catch you walking around shirtless?" I breathed out, burying my
hands into my hoodie.
Jesse raised an eyebrow at me. "Why would I? It's not like we were born into this world wearing
clothes. If I wanted to I could also take my sweatpants off." His light red tongue went over his lips as he
walked the same pace as me.
"Uh yea don't." I anxiously let out, making him quietly laugh to himself. Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.
A wave of silence came over us as we just followed the road, the quiet surroundings and moonlight
shining it's way on us.
"What's your favorite color?" He let out more as a statement than a question as I was slightly taken a
back from the randomness of it.
"Red." I smiled. "You?"
"Blue." He nodded flexing his jaw, his blue eyes not sparing me a glance as he continued to walk.
"Like your eyes." I responded fast.
What I said made him look at me full on now, my cheeks heating up again as we locked our gaze.
"Yea." His face softened at me, looking back down the ground. "Careful with your step." He all of a
sudden jumped down a deep slope.
I took a pause I stared down at him. "Um, this is really sketchy." My voice was sheepish as I looked
around the empty road.
Jesse whined. "Oh come on, give me your hand. Don't be a pussy." He teased, my mouth dropping as I
internally cringed at that word he just used.
"I am no pus-" He quickly interrupted me.
"Pussy." He said it again, making me scoff to myself.
"You're the pussy." I snapped.
"Then why you scared to jump down here?" He asked, a devilish smirk forming on his lips.
"Because it's too high and I don't feel like it."
"Pussy."
"Fuck you."
"Fuck me?"
"Yea, fuck you!"
"Then come down here and give it to me." He winked, making me throw him a dirty look.
"Oh my god shut up." I couldn't help but chuckle as he pouted, waiting for me to get down. "Why are
you talking like one of those straight boys from my school that emotionally confuse me."
He clenched his jaw at me before replying. "Because I'm not gay."
"You're not?"
He shook his head at me. "I make up the B in the LGBT alphabet."
"Oh." My eyes slightly widened as I watched him raise his hands at me. "I thought this camp was only
meant for closeted gay guys." I finally gave in and took his hand in helping me jump down.
"No not at all." His eyes followed mine as he grabbed me to make sure I dropped down okay. "Most of
the guys here aren't even closeted. Believe it or not there's more than one camp like this around." He
explained as I glanced down at our hands staying glued together.
I followed him deeper into the dark forest as we were engulfed by incredibly tall trees, his grip around
my hand tightening. I felt like I was supposed to be scared but for some reason his hand with mine
helped me remain calm.
He spoke again as twigs and leaves snapped beneath us. "There's Camp Serenity, which is like the girl
version of our camp and holy fuck the girls there are all gorgeous!"
Jesse continued to speak as I just listened. "There's also Camp Brazen which is another camp like this.
The guys there are hot too but major dicks. If you're not fit, not constantly down to fuck, or worse, not
have a diet plan, then you will get murdered."
I tried to suppress my laugh as I replied. "Why aren't you there?" I joked.
Jesse rolled his eyes. "Because I'm not a dick." He looked back, catching my mocking facial expression
in hopes that he would look back and see it and he did. "Fuck you." He chuckled.
"Where are we going anyway?" I tiredly sighed, throwing my head back as I felt like I was about to fall
back asleep.
All of a sudden we stopped walking. "Here." His voice sounding proud.
My mouth slightly dropped as the vast lake before my eyes crystallized under the bright moonlight.
