Chapter 17: Miss Fallen
The next morning, Eric walked into the office with a cool brow and looked coldly at his assistant.
“Where’s Cindy? Is she back yet?”
Assistant Brown nervously holding a document in his hand, subconsciously swallowed, dryly opened his mouth, and said, “Miss Scott has not yet returned … but has found out where she is.”
Eric sat down in his seat, “Say it.”
“Miss Scott she … she got into Augusta Hills, I heard, is going to officially become a waitress on tonight …”
The document in his hand was fiercely squeezed by a pair of large hands, Eric’s gaze was like a torch, which carried an icy feather arrow.
“Waiter?”
The assistant brown back was wet with cold sweat and nodded numbly.
“Yes …”
“Heh.”
Eric sneered; his eyes quenched with cold ice.
This woman, is sincerely against him, isn’t it?
The Augusta Hills is full of top business people, who don’t know that Cindy used to be his woman?
Now if it’s not Eric’s face, whose face is being slapped!
“How much money does she owe now? Pay it all back for her.”
Assistant Brown froze.
But after coming into contact with Eric’s eyes, he didn’t dare to disagree.
He responded, and left the president’s office carefully.
In the other corner of the president’s office, Linda, who had taken in the conversation, had a spiteful glint in her eyes.
Jealousy turned her pretty face into a distortion.
“Cindy, you really have a dark soul ….”
At night, Augusta Hills was ushered in and lit up.
“Cinderella, the manager said we’re getting ready, is that okay with you?”
Luna, wearing a rhinestone-encrusted halter dress, stood at the doorway, meanly looking up and down at the damsel in distress in front of her.
Cindy’s name in Augusta Hills is Cinderella.
The same name as Cinderella, but the situation is completely opposite.Content is © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.
She fell from the throne to the dust, while Cinderella in the fairy tale, because of a pair of crystal shoes, became a princess.
How ironic, is the distance between fairy tales and reality?
Taking the lipstick away from her lips, Cindy’s unbent spine, straight and upright, sets off her whole person glittering. Her elegant shoulder and neckline were enough to evoke every man’s desire.
“I’ll be right there.”
When Cindy appeared in the clubhouse with her wheelchair and delicate light makeup on her face, all eyes converged.
There were stunned, some despised, some indifferent.
But more than that, it was the greed of wanting to get her.
“Mr. Smith, when did you get such a noble newcomer here? Still not introduced to us to meet?”
A bald man in a suit with a big belly, holding a glass of champagne, looked at Cindy lustfully.
“Oh, Mr. Hunter, this is our Cinderella, and it’s her good fortune that Mr. Hunter has fallen in love with her. Why don’t you come over here quickly?”
Cindy’s spine stiffened and her hands clenched, but she finally took the wine glass handed to her by the waiter and went up to Mr. Hunter’s side.
When she was about to say hello, a sharp female voice with surprise sounded from behind her.
“Cindy, what are you doing here?”
