"What a beautiful and cute young girl she is." Christopher couldn't help but remark in admiration after Rose closed the door. The moment he saw Rose, was the same moment he liked her and wanted to dote on a beautiful young girl like her. She was the little sister he never got the chance to have.

"You should see how scheming and cunning she is." Alex suddenly remarks, recalling his two recent encounters with her at the jewelry shop and at the boutique.

However, his remark suddenly made his three friends turn towards him with a questioning gaze. "What do you mean by that, Alex?" Nicholas asked.

"Have you met her before? Do you know her?" Edward also added.

"I won't say we knew each other. After all, she was my girlfriend for five minutes." Alex calmly replied.

"What?! Have you lost your mind completely? How can you choose a beautiful and innocent young girl like her as your girlfriend?.....wait! Did I hear correctly just now?!" Christopher, who was ready to lash out at Alex, suddenly stopped after his brain processed the word over and over again.

"You had a girlfriend for five minutes? How is that possible?" He added as he looked at Alex like he was seeing a different creature of Alex.

Alex just glared dangerously at him. However oblivious to his friend's deadly glare, Christopher went ahead and said his mind.

"We all thought you were gay since you have no interest in any woman. I mean, you're always a block wall when it comes to women and today, I must say, was the first time you relaxed around a woman. I'm starting to think that you aren't a gay just like the rumors......" Christopher blurted out with a smirk while wiggling his eyebrows up and down. He trailed off with his speech as his gaze landed on Alex.

As soon as Edward realized the direction of Christopher's thoughts, he raised his hand and smacked him at the back of his head.

Smack!

"Aw! Hey! What was that for?" Christopher cried out in an aggrieved tone, while turning to look at Edward who was obviously the one that smacked him.

He couldn't help but rub the back of his head. 'Damn! That hurts!'

"Because of what you are saying." Edward calmly replied.

"So, what did I say? Is that why you have to smack me like that?" Christopher glared at him back.

Knowing who the 'he' in Edward's statement was, Christopher turned towards him to check him. He was greeted with the scowling expression on Alex's face, meaning he heard him.

'Crap!' was all Christoper could think of.

"Well, now we know he can make another expression," Christopher said as he scratched his head while laughing stupidly at himself.

What Christopher said earned him another smack at the back of his head from Edward.

"Hey!" Christopher cried out with an expression that read, 'Could it be that you are just obsessed with smacking me,' as he looked at Edward.

Edward really seemed to enjoy bullying him as he was three months older than him. He always claims that he is older and uses it as an excuse.

"Alex, did you really know that girl earlier?" Nicholas ignored both Christopher and Edwards before looking at Alex with a serious expression. For some reason, he felt there was a connection between him and Rose, but he can't just tell where the connection is from. She also looked very familiar to someone that he knew.

Alex stared at Nicholas with a blank expression, he knew there must be a reason why Nicholas was more focused to know about Rose. However, he couldn't tell what the reason was but decided to just reply to him with a single simple nod.

"What do you guys think about Rey Mason?" Edward suddenly asked, causing everyone to turn serious in an instant and they instinctively glanced at Alex.

Alex raised a brow, seeing how they were all staring at him. "What is it?" He asked with a scowl on his face. In all honesty, he hadn't taken his mind off what Rose had said earlier and he planned to instruct Derek to do some digging about it as well.

"You're not going to say anything about it?" Edward was the one who asked.

"Why are you asking him, when you are the one who up the discussion." Christopher remarks back to Edward before Alex could reply to him.

"And you Christoper is in the right position to deal with Rey Mason." This time it was Nicholas who looked at Christopher.

"Wait, why are you guys pushing the task to me all of a sudden?" Christopher cried out, suddenly felt cheated by his friends.

"You're the infamous Christopher Long, the popular CEO of the Starlight Entertainment industry and the King of Entertainment. A small entertainment industry like HYL entertainment shouldn't be a big problem for you, right?" Edward was the one to reply to Christopher's question.

As expected the four men were not some ordinary rich men in California. Apart from Alex and Nicholas whose family businesses are not known alone in California but in most parts of the world most especially Alex. Both Edward and Christopher are two of the most feared men in the whole of California apart from their family background and reputation.

Christopher earned the title King of Entertainment world at the age of twenty when he started his own entertainment company after moving out of his family home due to his personal issues. In over ten years that he had been running his own company, it had surpassed his own family business and Starlight Entertainment was one of the most sorted out entertainment industries in the entire California. There are other entertainment companies that work under Starlight Entertainment and HYL entertainment just happened to be a subsidiary working under Starlight Entertainment.

"Edward is right. And there is already too much scandalous news about Rey Mason but you've been ignoring them. Not taking an action against him is what actually prompted him to continue doing what he did earlier today. You should take care of trash like that." Nicholas also interfered, but both Christopher and Edwards looked at him with a bit of surprise.
