Chapter 334
Chapter 334
Blair’s pov
Life has always been unfair to me, in every area and corner, it has always been really u fair to me. The
fact to that as soon as I was overcoming a particular problem, so was another one coming up, right out
of the blue. It was starting to get quite tiring and I really wished there was wasn’t I could get it to stop.
The hospital’s door got pulled open without knocking, and even without glancing over, I knew who it
was.
“You’re getting discharged today.” He announced in a deep voice that I was starting to despise really
well right now, because that was the voice of the man behind my latest dilemma right now.
I remained silent and flinched when I felt something being thrown on me.
“Don’t just act like you can’t hear me right now, I really don’t have the time for this right now but still
made time for this.” He snapped and I glanced at what had been thrown at me, which I now realized
were clothes, right before I glanced up at his unsmiling face. Of course he was in a suit, it was as if that
was all he wore throughout his entire life, I thought as I wet my lip a little.
“Whose are these?” I asked as I referred to the clothes still at the side of my bed. He rolled his eyes
becire folding his hands.
“Who do you think might own it? Go on, take a wild guess, I take it that you’re at least a little bit smart.”
I scowled at him and picked the clothes up, throwing them at him before I could think.
“You make the guessing yourself, if you had meant for me to wear that, then I’m going to pass. I want
my old clothes back.”
He stared at me like he couldn’t believe what what had just happened, and for a moment, I began to
berate myself as ru get I had acted on impulse without thinking my moves through.
“Feisty, I see…” He mused, and that was when I noticed that he was amused. He moved closer to me
and dumped the clothes over my face this time as he spoke. “Well, you see, your clothes got cut off the
day you were brought here.”
“Why would they do that?” I demanded while glaring at him. “No idea and also none of my business.
You had better get dressed in that if you want to leave here as fast as possible,” He informed me and I
shook my head and pushed the two outfits off the bed.
“I’m not going to wear that.” I stated.
“You’re acting like you actually have a choice here, little miss Blair.” He tutted, and I scowled at him
harder, feeling a part of me break a little at the truth in those words. He was more than right, I really do
not have a choice here.
When I remained silent, he made a displeased sound. “My time is very precious, Blair. I’d appreciate it
if you don’t make me waste my time unnecessarily.”
I lifted my head in defiant. “I’m still not going to wear that, I’d rather go in this scrubs.” I said, gesturing
to the hospital gown I still have on.
“There’s no way you’re wearing that, and besides, it belongs to the hospital.” He pointed out.
“They’re going to throw it out anyways, I might as well do the disposing for them.” I responded, feeling
like my point had successfully overruled his.
After a few moments, he moved closer to the bed, and because of the feeling of fear that overwhelmed
me, I inched away from him, just as he began to speak.
“Blair, if you don’t change into that right now, I’m going to get those clothes on you by myself.”
I lifted my chin even though I was definitely scared now. “You can’t make me.”
The look in his eyes showed me that he hadn’t been joking, and so after a few moments, I slide off the
bed and picked the clothes up with a scowl on my face.
“Can you at least turn around so I can change?” I snapped while glaring at him. He only rolled his eyes
as he stood straight once again, and now that I was standing a few inches away from him, I realized
once again, just how tall he was.
TALL.
“It’s not like you have anything that can make me interested,” He drawled as he turned away from me
and I glared at his back as I pulled the scrub off my head, which left me completely naked. I got into the
clothes as fast as possible, feeling relieved that one of the outfits was a pair of joggers.
Once I was dressed, and motioned for him to turn around, and then I held out the price tags which were
still on the clothes a moment ago.
“Why the hell would you buy a cloth this cost for me??” I screeched. The price I had seen on the tags
was still making me feel a little bit dizzy.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa… I didn’t help you get it, you’re still going to pay me back for it.” He responded
calmly and regarded me with a look like he thought I was dumb to think he had got me the clothes of
his free will.
“Why the fuck is it this cost then??? Ten thousand dollars for this nonsense??” I screeched while
angrily gesturing to the clothes.
“They’re not nonsense, one of them is givenchy and the other one is a dior.” He responded and I’ve
never wanted to slap a man so bad like I wanted to do right now.
“I don’t give a damn about designers’ brands for heaven’s sake!” I cried out and he hummed. “Of
course, that was obvious, seeing as you could pour your coffee over a suit worth over fifty thousand
dollars.”
“That was a mistake, I’d never do that on purpose–” NôvelDrama.Org: text © owner.
He cut into what I was saying. “Excuses are well planned lies, miss– what’s your surname?”
I spluttered, completely caught off guard. “What?”
“Your surname… what is it?”
I pursed my lips. “None of your business.” I snapped and he regarded me for a fleeting moment before
rolling his eyes.
“Whatever, miss Blair, I don’t give two fucks about what you go by. As soon as you pay me every dime
you own me, I’d be on my way before you can even blink.”
