Two muffled thuds sounded, and Mikayla was nearly thrown out of her seat.

In that instant, the window shattered. Just as she braced for the stinging pain of broken glass, she sensed a sturdy chest above her head.

Hearing the thumping of Jerome’s heart, Mikayla felt her heart skip a beat.

In her previous life, she had once secretly rested her head on his chest and listened to his heartbeat while he was drunk.

The front of the Maybach was crushed. The windows were shattered, and large dents were visible on the body. Smoke was coming out from the vehicle.

Several onlookers had gathered, and a few were expressing regret.

“This car must be totaled. What a shame for such a good car!”

“That’s right. The one in front got it worse. Even the airbags popped out. Rich people are so reckless.”

Was Taylor’s car so seriously damaged?
