Alpha Tyrion’s POV:

Her moans, her soft curves and the pleasure… Why couldn’t I keep my mind off her? I slammed the file shut which included the names of rogues joining the pack. I couldn’t concentrate on anything. Whenever I tried to put my focus on work, her soft features flashed across my eyes.

What was wrong with me? Was my love to Ava so weak that another cunning lady took my focus?

There was something in the way she behaved around me and her voice which seemed to sound so sweet that it made me feel like I was listening to a melody.

‘It’s okay if you like her. Remember, we have never been intimate with anyone else other Ava but that was your first time and you messed it. ‘ Sabre jumped in my mind with his more theories.

‘I don’t like her, Sab. ‘ I muttered angrily.

The maid entered my office chamber with an invitation letter in her hands. I had a slight idea as to what it was. But i genuinely didn’t want to attend it. “Alpha, Luna is ready too. Would you like me to tell her something else? ” She asked.

“No, nothing. ” I answered.

Luna? Goddess! She didn’t know anything about the pack cultures and how to act more professionally like the elite she-wolves. What if anyone would announce that she was just a maid and I was forced to take her?

It seemed that after she had come to my life, everyday was a struggle and came with new difficulties. But whatever it was, I had to keep going because I couldn’t stay hidden in the pack or else it would affect my chances for the throne.

After finishing two more tasks, I mentally pushed myself to get ready and take the girl with me. As per my orders, she was already waiting for me in the car. Mom had been trying to act normal after the series of bad incidents but deep down she was worried and scared for the future.

The first thing which I noticed when I sat in the car was her scent. It was so attractive and always made me go hard in my pants. But I was seated in the front seat with the driver and couldn’t see her face. A voice in the back of my head forced me turn my head around and get a glimpse of her. Just for a second. But I didn’t want to look dumb in front of her so kept myself from looking around in the car.

” Shall we, Alpha? ” The driver asked before igniting the engine. I nodded and the car made it’s way out of the pack borders.

It was as if there was an itch in the back of my head. I wanted to get a look of how she looked.

‘Then, turn around. ‘ Sabre said.

Ava… I saw Alpha Kristian’s car parked outside the venue and my fists clenched angrily. He was already here and I had to meet them.

The driver parked the car in the slot available for us and I got out to open the door for Celine. I couldn’t act rough with her or else there would be more rumours.

And finally I saw her. In the Navy blue laced gown and a red lipstick shining on her lips. She was beautiful, no doubt but was more cunning than anyone I had ever known.

“Behave yourself in the party. ” I whispered in her ear.

She walked after I held her hand and the guards bowed before me as we entered the party hall. There were many Alphas, some friends while others just the pure rivals who didn’t even pretend to like me. The disgust was visible on their faces and they began whispering to each other like a group of ladies gossiping about a hot topic.

“Welcome, Alpha Tyrion and his newly mated Luna. ” The Beta of the pack, Noah, greeted me and his eyes loomed over Celine for a little longer than being just a curious glance.

“Thank you. ” I said, breaking the eye contact between them.

Alpha Elrond was meeting every person and when his eyes landed on me, a smirk formed on his lips.

Heck, we were rivals since childhood. He took a better training in the Annual camps in various packs whereas I had to take over the pack early on after my father died. We were of the same age yet he got to enjoy more youthful days than me.

“Tyrion! And Ava… ” He made a face, ” Sorry, I forgot Ava is with Alpha Kristian. It was a habit to see you both together everywhere. ”

I knew what he was trying to do and didn’t want to play along his dirty games, ” That’s okay. Things happen in life. Congratulations for the title. ”

He wasn’t happy that I hadn’t tried to fight him but before he could say something else to provoke me, someone called him thankfully because I wasn’t going to keep my mouth sealed if he was going to insult me.

” Enjoy the party. ” He told Celine and came closer to me, ” She’s hot though. ” And left with a wink.

Unintentionally, I found Ava with Kristian who was looking at me already and was so angry because of the fact that I had held Celine’s hand. I wanted to talk to her, ask her if she was happy. But talking to her in front of everyone would mean an insult to Alpha Jonathan which he wouldn’t like.

The Old Alpha, Alpha Jeffery, announced dinner for everyone and the servants laid the table. Celine was excited to be in the party as I could see from her face. She was continuously looking around to see the luxurious decorations in the hall.

“Are you hungry? ” I asked her because I was in no mood to stay here till dinner. I had done my responsibility of showing up here and just wanted to get out of this place.

” Yes. ” She said with a smile.

But then I decided to enjoy the dinner. After all, she wasn’t disturbing me and had been behaving generously all night.

We seated on the middle chairs and to my bad luck Ava and Kristian were on the chairs in front of us. Kristian gave me a dirty look and his hand rested over Ava’s lap.

Fu**k! I wanted to kill him for this.

The waiters served the dinner and I just took a glass of wine. Celine was happy with the food and I was content that at least she got to eat something good today after starving yesterday.

Around fifteen minutes later, I saw Ava gesturing me something with her eyes and hands and somehow I knew she wanted me to follow her. But that was risky and moreover, I didn’t want to insult the mark Celine was carrying by going after Ava tonight. Ava was mated to someone else and we needed to respect that.

Everyone stood up after dinner and music boomed loudly in the air. Ava was still signalling me to meet her and I chose to give in.

” Stay here. I will be back. ” I told Celine.

Ava was waiting for me in the corridor and hugged me like a baby as soon as she saw me.

” No, Ava. Stay away. ” I tried to keep myself far away from her.

” I hate him, Ty. Please save the baby and me. “
