Chapter 350 Haley Nalan Was Linda Xia
Chapter 350 Haley Nalan Was Linda Xia
Sadly, Sarah Shen and Amy Qi would rather endure pain than give up, even though the men they loved
didn't love them at all.
"Stop thinking about it. I came here today to tell you a very important thing. You wouldn't believe whom
I met at the Nalan clan's house today." Sarah snuffled, raised her head, and looked at the ceiling to NôvelDrama.Org is the owner.
stop her tears from falling.
"Whom did you meet?"
Amy was in no mood to discuss irrelevant matters.
Her mood was really low.
"I went to the Nalan clan's house to meet Haley Nalan today. She didn't show up, but Linda did." Sarah
still could not believe that the woman she met with today was Linda. Why would Linda Xia show up
when she asked for Haley Nalan?
She had met with Haley before. Haley did look a bit like Linda. They had the same eyes. But they
weren't the same person, were they?
Sarah knew that Linda was also a descendant of the Nalan clan. Linda's biological mother was Sherry
Nalan, who was Lord Nalan's beloved daughter.
Linda looked a lot like her mother Sherry, so it wasn't surprising that Linda looked like Haley, since
Haley was a member of the Nalan clan. Sarah tried to find a reasonable explanation since it was hard
to believe that Linda and Haley were the same person.
"What are you talking about?" You've seen Linda today? How was that possible?" Amy was shocked. A
look of surprise came over her face. It was unbelievable.
"I'm pretty sure that was Linda Xia. I recognized her once I saw her. I'll never forget her face."
"Are you really sure... that she is Linda Xia?"
Amy thought about the day she killed Linda. She had cut Linda's face over and over again with a knife.
It gave her a real thrill every time she cut through her face.
"I'm sure of it. But I don't know whether she is the fake one or the real one. You've told me that
someone is pretending to be Linda Xia and now lives in the Mu clan's house, right?" Sarah thought
about it for a while and replied to Amy.
Amy lost herself in thoughts after she heard Sarah's reply.
'Maybe Linda is not dead?
But how is that possible?' Amy was confused. She remembered that day very well. She had slashed
across Linda's pretty face and thrown her into the raging river. There were a lot of undercurrents in that
river, making it fast-flowing and dangerous. Once Linda was tossed into the river, her body instantly
drifted downstream.
Even if Linda could swim, she would not be able to save herself because she had lapsed into
unconsciousness. How could she be alive?
"Did you notice any scars on her face?" Amy refused to believe the woman Sarah saw was the real
Linda Xia. That was the last thing she wanted to hear.
She thought that she had managed to defeat and kill her rival, but now, someone was telling her that
her rival returned unharmed.
Sarah thought about it again carefully. There seemed to be no scars on Linda's face when she met her
this morning.
She shook her head and responded, "I've thought about it very carefully. I don't think there were any
scars on her face. If there were, I would have noticed, since the knife wounds heal slowly, and the
scars would be visible."
"So, who the hell is she?"
Amy thought about it again, but a chill rippled over her skin. What exactly was going on?
Then, Amy remembered that Derek came to talk to her the other day.
He wanted to exchange a piece of information for money with her. He said that it was about Linda.
Linda had showed up in the Mu clan's private hospital.
If the Linda Xia that Derek was talking about was the fake one, she would not have gone to the Mu
clan's private hospital to visit Donna Xie.
But... visiting Donna Xie was something that the real Linda Xia would do.
Did it mean that the woman Sarah met today was the real Linda Xia?
Suddenly, Amy grabbed Sarah's clothes and said, "Sarah, could you do something for me, please?"
"My dear, just tell me what you want me to do, and I'll do it for you. What is it?"
Sarah felt sad about Amy's begging.
She was also hurt inside by the man she loved, but her situation was better. She might be able to marry
the man she loved even though he didn't love her at all. Even so, she had the chance to be with him.
As for Amy, the man she loved was going to marry another woman.
"Do you still have any contact with the Public Security Bureau? Could you pull some strings and check
the information of the Mu clan's private hospital for me?"
Sarah shook her head, embarrassed, when she heard Amy's request.
"I might be able to help you get another institution's information. But for the Mu clan's private hospital,
it's impossible. Don't you know what the Mu clan is capable of?"
"What should I do? I need to know whether the woman who visited Donna Xie was the real Linda or
not. I need to meet with her in person to confirm her identity."
Actually, Amy already had a hunch that the woman was the real Linda.
If not, Derek wouldn't have wanted to make a deal with her.
The price he asked for was really high.
Suddenly, Amy felt desperate. There was nothing else in the world that she was living for.
All her effort was in vain. Then, what was it for?
In order to be with the man she loved, she had gone against her conscience. She even had killed
someone to get him.
Amy began to feel a little regret, But there was no going back.
"Oh right! I noticed that her belly had a bulge. She must be pregnant. If she really was, she needs to go
to the hospital for prenatal care, right? We can meet with her when she goes there."
A flash of viciousness appeared in Amy's eyes after she heard Sarah's suggestion.
"I've tried to kill her once, and I'll do it again if I need to. I'll make sure she would never appear in front
of my face again." Amy said it between her gritted teeth.
Sarah had a bad feeling.
What did Amy want to do? Would she do something crazy?
Sarah wanted to talk her out of it, "Amy, stop acting like a fool. Do not try to kill her again. If you get
caught, you will go to jail."
Sarah was once a Deputy Director of the Public Security Bureau. She knew well that murderers had to
pay for the crime for a lifetime.
The modern society was a constitutional society. All men were equal before the law, no matter who you
were. Amy had tried to kill Linda once. If she did that again, she might get caught. She might end up in
prison for the rest of her life.
For the people in the upper class, killing was the last thing they would do.
If they wanted to destroy someone, they would torture the person until he or she committed suicide, or
they would make them lose everything. Killing was not an option.
