A Night with Gideon

Chapter 28

Chapter 28

Holding her bouquet, Lyzza walks down the red carpet that leads to the altar where Gideon was

standing on his gorgeous white tux while staring intently at her. "Your future husband is very

handsome, Son. My grandson will take the eye,"

whispered his mom jokingly walking beside him. "Ma,"

he laughed and tightened his grip on her arm. "I’m just getting married, I’m not going to another country

and we won’t see each other for ten years."

The mother pinched her side and simply sniffed. "Oh, you!"

He didn’t say a word because he knew it was happy for him and his son. Summer waved cutely at her

when she passed him next to Gideon’s Mommy Gerona and Daddy. She even gave her a flying kiss

that made her laugh. Her baby is beautiful in her blue dress which is the theme of their wedding. His

hair was still up like hers so his whiteness appeared even more. Her cheeks are pinkish and her eyes

are glowing.

He waved back at his son who made the latter giggle. He looked ahead and Gideon’s eyes met. His

eyes scream a lot of emotion that she cannot name what those are. She held her bouquet tightly

because she knew that the moment they got married, the moment she said the word ‘I do’, in front of

the altar, her life would change forever.

"Take care of my son, huh?!"

His mother extended her hand to the outstretched hand of the man with brown eyes. "I knew you would

do that, I just wanted to say. I hope your marriage lasts and you love each other even more."

He wanted to cringe at the last thing he said. Gideon will take care of them, yes. But they love each

other, he doesn’t know because it’s clear that he doesn’t feel anything for her and neither does he. Just

like it said, they will just go with the flow and have a trust and faithfulness to each other in this

marriage.

"Yes, Ma,"

the man answered and kissed his mother’s head and hugged her. He hugged and h*****k Gideon’s

parents on the cheek. Summer ran towards them and hugged his thigh. "You’re so beautiful, Mommy."

"You too, Baby."

He bent down and kissed her on the forehead.

Gideon carried his daughter and said something to her ear that made the little girl chuckle cutely

After a moment of greeting, they faced the altar. The ceremony went well and Gideon’s friends teased

him when the priest announced that he can now kiss the bride. He pressed his hand on the stem of his

bouquet as he slowly raised the

he was wearing a viel. His chest heaved as their eyes met. The back of his hand caressed her cheek.

The heat generated by that delivers an electrical voltage to the system.

He was able to put his palms on his wife’s chest when he suddenly grabbed her by the waist. Before

she could even blink, his face came closer to hers and their lips met.

The whole church was filled with applause but he was deaf to it all. All the people disappeared and the

surroundings became silent and Gideon was the only one left. His encircling kiss trapped her in the

world of dreams and messed with her system. He came back to reality when his wife released his lips

from his. They were both panting and his chest heaved more when he saw her staring at him. He

doesn’t want to assume with its knee-weakening gaze.

If the guests hadn’t screamed again and Summer ran up to him he wouldn’t have been able to take his

eyes off it.

The wife moved away from him and carried the child before he put one hand back on her waist.

Flashes of cameras follow as they take a picture with their families, friends and visitors.

At the reception, Qyla’s face was grim when she approached him and Jessica. How is it, he didn’t even

talk about them. He was getting married the next day when he gave the wedding invitation. It was an

intimate wedding. Only family and friends are

invited. "Don’t talk to me,"

she said to him, "who are you to me now."

"It’s like the size of my sin against you."

He glared at her with eyes that made him and Jessica laugh. "It’s really big. You are shameless! We’ve

just been busy, you’ve reached chapter one hundred of your life. As for speed, is there a shortcut?"

its language is full of sarcasm. "It’s happened, eh."

He pointed at her angrily and frowned. "That won’t work for me. You thought you could take me like

that."

It looked around before moving closer to him. "He’s not Summer’s daddy, you’ll marry him right away."

She hit him on the shoulder as he gently pinched her side. Quincy Mae muttered before looking at

just like

Gideon. His shoulder-length hair is black in color and has stubble. Ruggedly handsome is the best

description for him.

He found out that he was Gideon’s former colleague in the military along with one of his best friends,

Riguel. As serious as Gideon is, Alejandro is just as mischievous. If he winked at her earlier, it was as if

he was having fun looking at his wife who didn’t know why he was staring at his friend.

"Your guests are so handsome. I’ll pick one, huh?!"

Jessica’s eyes even twinkled in happiness while roaming her eyes around the place. They were in

Almeradez hotel for the reception. They occupied the large garden on the twentieth floor of the hotel.

It’s

wide and has a high barrier so that kids chasing each other on the carpeted area don’t fall.

"Look at that. Hey! The eyes are beautiful,"

said Qyla secretly pointing to the man with green eyes while serious and without any emotion on his

face.

"Don’t do that. That’s already married."

She pointed her finger to a woman who is talking to Jenza Weinstein-Ivanovich-the owner of the GICC

hospital. "That’s his wife. Pretty right?"

He got a kick from Qyla and was like a child who was still walking. It only means one thing, he accepts

that the girl he taught is beautiful. The man with green eyes named Zeon Funtellion and his wife is

Mira.

Gideon introduced them to him together with the Ivanovich’s couple. Gideon said that he was a partner

of Funtellion’s, so his family was invited to their wedding. "Aren’t there singles?"

He laughed before snorting at Alejandro and Riguel. "They are the only two without a partner right now,

so I assume they are single. If you want to have an instant baby, he’s the one you approach."

He turned to Spiel Ralvan whose six-year-old son was throwing tantrums.

Qyla snorted before quickly shaking her head. "There is that. I saw earlier, the child who works here at

the hotel is called mommy."

He leaned forward and nodded. Maybe that’s why the child throws tantrums because mommy wants it.

Summer is the same, always looking for mommy. Speaking of Summer, she noticed that her red lips

were getting longer and curving, her baby was about to cry while looking intently at a child who was just

one of her friends earlier. He stood up to approach her when suddenly her lips opened and she let out

a cry from where she stood. She even stomped her feet like a brat while crying loudly. Gideon

approached it and immediately lifted it up. "Why?"

Summer’s little finger pointed at the boy she had been looking at earlier. "He fought me. I hate him."

The son refers to the Ivanovich couple’s son. If she’s not mistaken, the child’s name is Giovanni. He

has the same age as her baby.

His father also approached the child and carried him. "What did you do?"

Her lips twitched while Summer continued to cry her father. "Nothing, Daddy."

"Van…"

Van took a glance at Summer before settling his eyes on his father again.

"I told hey that she’s ugly. She told me that I was stupid and not a cute baby."

He rubbed his forehead and heard the laughter of Jessica and Qyla next to him.
