Chapter 48 - Unwelcomed Text

"Remind me again, why am I here?" Ron asked for the billionth time. We were already on our family's

jet flying to Miami.

I rolled my eyes. "For the last time, we had to travel anyway what's the matter if it's a few days early?!"

I sighed before glaring at him when I recalled he would ask the same questions over again.

Where would we be staying? At a rented house until we visit his parents then decide.

Why were we early? Because Aurora was stressing me out. Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.

What was Tommy doing with us? Elena couldn't travel on her own these days and I wouldn't act as

Cinnamon.

What about Desmond? He would stay with Tommy whenever I needed him to go away.

What was so hard about this, I'd never know. It was a rash decision but there was no going back now.

"You know what?" I exclaimed. "Let's kill some time, I have an idea."

I moved into his seat and we cuddled up before grabbing the blanket to be cozier. After we were

comfortable enough I let the movie play. Normally, I didn't have much time to watch movies and just

chill but now I had nothing more than time.

It was time to be laidback and just enjoy the little moments we had. I even rented a beach house for the

four of us.

Tommy and Desmond were both sleeping soundly at the back seats. At least I wouldn't get snarky

comments from Tommy!

After we got to our house we all decided to take a break and sleep. No one had energy left to unpack.

I wasn't ready to share my room with anyone so Ron had his own room while I had mine.

I lied in bed but couldn't sleep. I was trying to count imaginary sheep when I heard my phone buzzing.

And because I was a hopeless romantic, I thought it was Ron.

But boy was I wrong, it was Alice!

And what she texted shocked me to the core.

Alice: Elena, I know we're not on the best terms right now, but I need to tell something in person. You're

in danger!!!!

Me: Alice is this another prank?

I was getting tired of her bitching around.

Alice: Elena I can't tell you everything right now but remember that note I put in your locker. I was told

to do that. Someone is trying to get you. Just know that everything I do and did serves a purpose.

Alice: Look, I'm coming over in a week. You'll have time to think about it. See you then.
