The doctor treating Anya looked around the group and asked, “Who is the patient’s family?”

“I am.” Daniel answered as he walked over with his secretaries.

“You are?” the doctor asked.

“Her husband,” he answered and Kelly and Mrs. Daniels felt their eyes almost fall from their sockets at the sight of the person who had spoken.

Anya was in no state of mind to deal with any of this. She barely registered that the commotion in general as Daniel stepped forward towards them.

“Mr. Shaw,” Mrs. Daniels greeted before Kelly recalled that to follow suit. Daniel walked past them to Anya. His expression looked like a storm was about to descend.

Daniel looked to Anya with a raised brow but she could not stand his gaze. He was happy she had made friends, but he could not help noticing that her friends were a bit of eccentrics.

Anya could already guess that Emily would be waiting to give her a big speech. She had already warned her to be careful of men and she went and married one. Well, it is better than being angry, Anya thought.

Her expression changed so much as she thought, Daniel could not stop looking.

“What will you do about the head of HR?” She asked him.

He looked to be watching something interesting. But when it came to her question, he to it seriously.

While coming, he had already come to a decision on what to do with those involved. He had thought that Anya would be safe in his company, but he had never imagined that it was possible for her to be hurt in his own territory. He felt insult. How could he possibly let it go?

“You came with her?” he asked the middle aged woman.

“Yes sir,” she answered.

“Then you have heard my instructions. Return to the office,” Daniel said and she nodded and left quickly.
