Marry My Ex’s Uncle After Rebirth by Agatha Barney

Chapter 181

Chapter 181

As time went by, the att the cave began to become thinner.

Stephanie clearly felt suffocated.

“Sable,” said Stephanie

Sable looked at her. “Are you uncomfortable?

I don’t think we can wait for the rescue team” Stephanie said.

Sable frowned unconsciously, “Do you want to dig the snow?

Stephante nodded. “We will die if we don’t go out. We might as well have a try?

Sable asked. “How about waiting a little longer?”

“Sorry, I can’t wait any longer. I don’t want to die here without even trying. I have to go find Vincent. Then Stephanie began to scoop up the snow with her hands.

Sable pursed his lips and watched her dig with all her might.

She had to dig at least 3 feet to get out under the heavy weight of snow.

After a while, Sable crawled over and dug with Stephanie. But when he was digging, he paid close attention to the movement

below.

The air was getting thinner and thinner. Stephanie began to breathe harder, but her hands did not stop.

Vincent was waiting for herf

If one of them could live, she hoped that the person alive would be Vincent!

If neither of them survived, she hoped that she would die with him!

Stephanie exerted so much strength that she began to breathe fast. She dug with her last strength.

Boom!

A sense of weightlessness overwhelmed Stephanie. She felt that someone hugged her and fell off, then hit something and fell to the ground. She felt a lot of snow on her back.

The man let out a muffled grunt in her ear, but he didn’t relax his grip on her.

After a long time, Stephanie felt that she could breathe.

She slowly opened her eyes and found herself lying on Sable.

Being so close to Sable, Stephanie couldn’t help but tremble her eyelashes, and she quickly rolled over to his side.

Stephanie called him twice, but he didn’t respond. She took off her gloves to check his head for no trauma and felt his pulse. His pulse was normal. He probably just fainted.

She took a small bottle from her backpack, poured out a black pill, and put it into Sable’s mouth.

Sable? Sable?

Sable didn’t wake up. Stephanie looked around through the light of frosted glass and found that the place was filled with experimental instruments. To be precise, it was a laboratory.

She stood up, looked up at the place where they landed, and figured out that she must have dug somewhere. The unevent stress caused the partition to collapse.

When she fell. Sable also fell, but he hugged her to put himself the bottom. When they fell down, his back hit the lab table, and then he fell to the ground.

Why was there a laboratory here?

Who built it at the bottom of the snow mountain?

Stephanie was shocked and terrified.

She took out a flashlight and shone on the experimental instruments, all of which were the most advanced in the world.

She suspected someone was doing some illegal experiments here

The reason for choosing this place was that the air here was cold and the virus activity was low, which made it difficult to spread.

Of course, this was just a brief conjecture by Stephanie.

“Hmm

The man on the ground groaned in pain. Stephanie quickly ran over and crouched down. “Are you okay?”

Sable raised his hand, and Stephanie hurriedly put one of his arms on her shoulder to help him up. “Are you hurt?”

The distance between the two was very close. Sable had deep–set eyes, long and thick eyelashes, hazel eyes like a piece of amber, a high nose bridge, red lips, and white teeth. He looked so drop–dead gorgeous that he resembled a character in an oil painting.

Stephanie trembled her eyelashes and subconsciously stepped aside.

Sable looked at Stephanie’s panicked appearance and suddenly chuckled, “Are you afraid of me?”

Stephanie replied, “No. I just don’t like being so close to men other than Vincent. Thank you for saving me just now.”

“Thank me for being a human mat?” Sable chuckled. “You really should thank me. If there is a sharp blade underneath, I will definitely die.”

Stephanie expressed her thanks again. “How’s your back?“.

“It hurts a little, but it doesn’t matter.” Sable glanced around. “Please help me up.”

Stephanie helped him up. “Can you stand by yourself?”

“Can’t wait to let go of me?” asked Sable.

Words failed Stephanie.

Sable chuckled, “We are separated by such thick clothes, and there is no skin contact.

Stephanie also felt that she was a little hypocritical. “Sorry.”

Sable withdrew his hand from Stephanie’s shoulder. He narrowed his eyes. “This should be a laboratory.”

Stephanie nodded. “1 heve lab instruments are very advanced, si guess there should be a lot of people guarding here. There’s no way we can get out of here. We have to leave from her. I think it’s a private organization, so we might run into some danger”

Sable raised his eyebrows. “Are you afta

Stephanie shook her head. Don’t worry. I want to get out as soon as possible. I wonder how Vincent is doing now. I don’t want anything to happen to him”

Sable nodded. Then let’s go now.”

Wait a second!” Stephanie took out some needles and scalpels from the laboratory cabinet and gave them to Sable. “It’s for self–defense

Sable looked at the sharp and dangerous scalpel in his hand. “Aren’t you afraid that I am a bad guy?”

Stephanie smiled. If you were a bad guy, you wouldn’t have saved me.

Sable pressed his cheek with the tip of his tongue. “It makes sense. My back still hurts. When we are all safe, treat me to dinner

Stephanic nodded. “I’ll walk in front, and you will follow me.”

Sable curled his lips and pulled her behind him. “If you’re in front of me, it will give others a chance to shoot me in the head. If I’m in front of you, maybe they can only hit my body”

-Stephanie didn’t know what to say,

Sable opened the frosted door, looked around, and made a gesture, motioning Stephanie to follow him.

Stephanie immediately followed.

When they just passed through the second door, they happened to meet four mercenaries with heavy weapons.

Sable and Stephanie overpowered them with a few moves.

Stephanie looked in shock at the lab chambers, which were full of people with tubes on their bodies.

“What the heck is all this?” asked Stephanie.

Stephanie wanted to look at the buttons on the cabin and held out her hand.

Sable grabbed her hand. “Don’t touch it!

Stephanie looked sideways at him. “What’s wrong?”

“What if there are germs in it?” said Sable.

Stephanie withdrew her hand. “You’re right.” With that, she continued to observe the people inside.

Sable looked at the empty palm, then gradually clenched his hand.

Stephanie said, “According to the cuts on these people’s bodies, I guess they had different organs removed, and this nutrient solution should be the substance that kept them alive. Maybe they have artificial organs in their bodies.”

Stephanie looked at Sable and continued, “This should be an illegal human organ lab.

Sable said gently, “I don’t know much about medicine, but what you say is very likely.”

Stephanie frowned. “Arr all the people who lost contact here?”

A dark ghim thashed across Sable’s eyes. “It’s possible” This is property © of NôvelDrama.Org.

Stephanie nodded. “Let’s get out of here to find help, and then come back again.”

Sable said, “Okay”

Sable’s pupils contracted as he finished his words.

Stephanie also noticed something behind her. She looked back suddenly and saw a snow leopard pouncing towards her.
