Chapter 997
"I got it, Theo. I won't do this again. I'm sorry. I didn't know I shouldn't say those things. I don't have much experience in this area, and I was worried you'd be disappointed in me."
Theodore lifted his hand to gently stroke her hair. "Don't talk about these things again, and don't see Rosalie again either."
"What about you? Will you still see her?" she asked.
Theodore fell silent for a moment.
Seeing his lack of response, Aurora knew his answer.
Perhaps even Theodore wasn't certain whether he would see Rosalie again. Maybe he would run into her, maybe he would seek her out, or maybe Rosalie would shamelessly look for him-who knew?
In any case, it was all Rosalie's fault. Theodore was surely blameless.
Suddenly, Sebastian was standing outside the ward and called his name. "Theodore."
When Theodore turned around and saw Sebastian, his brows furrowed.
Aurora appeared a bit fearful. "Theo, why is he here?"
Theodore squeezed her hand gently. "Aurora, don't worry. Just stay here and don't go out."
Aurora nodded, and Theodore walked out of the room.
"Sebastian, what do you want?" he demanded.Têxt © NôvelDrama.Org.
"I should be asking you the same. You brought your woman just to bully Rose," Sebastian snarled.
"You're overthinking it," Theodore said coldly. "I only brought Aurora here for a check-up."
"There are plenty of hospitals, but you brought her here for a check-up. Don't tell me that wasn't on purpose."
"I'm familiar with this hospital and I have connections here, so it's more convenient for me to come here. It's just logical. But you coming here to find me are you looking for a fight? Then you'll run off to Rose and tell hert hit you."
"Heh." Sebastian scoffed. "Theodore, rest assured, I won't fight you here. I just wanted to let you know that Justin has woken up."
Theodore's brows knitted. "He's awake?"
The news of Justin waking up didn't stir much of a reaction from Theodore, let alone any joy. Justin had nothing to do with him now. He had thought Justin had harmed Rosalie, so he nearly killed him.
"Oh, really? That's nice. Rose must be very happy."
"Of course she's happy, so I came here to share her joy with you."
Theodore folded his arms. "Sebastian, are you trying to make me angry with this? You should realize that she's your wife now, and Justinis your rival. Trying to make him my rival is pointless; I already have Aurora now."
"Sebastian!" Theodore's fist tightened as anger surged within him.
At that moment, Aurora came out. "Theo."
She walked up to Theodore, took his arm, and gently held his clenched fist. "Theo, don't be angry. Feel our child."
She gently lifted his hand, slowly unfolding his fist, and placed it gently on her belly.
"When the child is born, whether it's a boy or a girl, it'll be your child. You're going to be a father, so don't let others get to you." Theodore looked at Aurora in silence.
